Faktory ovlivňující objem bytové výstavby v České republice

The diploma thesis aims to identify the factors affecting the level of housing construction in the Czech Republic and to build an econometric model. The first part provides an overview of the literature. The chapter Methodology describes the methods used to build an econometric model and describes the different characteristics that determine the level of housing construction. Their influence is validated using multivariate regression analysis in chapter Results, where there is also a forecast level of housing construction for 2015. At the end of this thesis the results are interpreted.

Opinions of older school children on social work

In this Bachelor thesis, I discuss the views of older school-age children on social work. The aim of the Bachelor thesis was to find out and describe what information children of older school age have about social work, how they perceive it and whether it is promising for them as a possible future profession. Qualitative research, polling method and semi-structured interview technique were used to process the practical part and achieve the goal. Interviews were conducted with 8 children of older school age from České Budějovice who were selected on the basis of the snowball method. After processing the interviews, I conducted their evaluation using the categorization method. The results of the research indicate that children of older school age have little to little awareness of social work, which is not particularly present in school or family settings. On the basis of the interviews, we can conclude that children can deduce what the concept of a helping profession means, but social work as such is largely unknown to them. The results of this Bachelor thesis can help to improve awareness of social work not only for older school age children, but also for the general public. It is particularly the case that social work occurs in everyday life without us realising it and it is therefore a good idea to inform children in primary schools about this area and to offer it to them as a future focus.

Child abuse and neglect and possibilities of his legal protection (in context of family preservation)

Problematika spadající pod syndrom CAN - zejména je-li pachatelem rodič dítěte - je velmi závažným společenským selháním. Rovněž tento druh násilí má pro dítě, které je na svých rodičích emocionálně i materiálně závislé, důsledky, které si nese dál životem. V práci jsem čerpala ze studia odborné literatury, jež mi pomohla hlouběji proniknout do dané problematiky a pochopit patologické jevy, které ji doprovázejí. Vycházela jsem z potřeby účinné pomoci dětským obětem syndromu CAN, s vyzvednutím faktu, že separace dítěte od rodičů není vždy tím nej lepším řešením. Rovněž jsem se zaměřila na nutnost vzájemně sladěné, interdisciplinární a koordinované spolupráce, jako preventivního faktoru podílejícího se na snížení rizika systémového týrání dítěte. Vše výš uvedené jsem prakticky ukázala na zvolených kasuistikách. Přínos práce spočívá v sumarizaci ( a návrzích možných řešení) závažných nedostatků a problémových oblastí, jenž se na poli ochrany práv a zájmů dítěte vyskytují a v metodickém popsání sociální práce s rodinou metodou sanace, na českém poli relativně nové oblasti, která může být jak cestou prevence výskytu syndromu CAN, tak i cestou následné úspěšné pomoci. The Role of Visual Marketing Semiotics in Brand Building

The Diploma thesis is focused on marketing and semiotics and the use of these two fields combined. In the course of the thesis, we will deal with the analysis of single visual marketing modes and the overall impact on perception of the brand and also its ́ building by linking these elements. In the thesis, we will focus on the Gunter Kress ́ theory of multimodality and, in this context, we will focus on graphic design rules, which are reflected within each mode and which can deliver quality and consistent communication. Attention will be paid to semiotic analysis of colors, fonts, utilization of images and photos and other components important for creating a visual marketing strategy. In the empirical section, two similar brands will be introduced, on which the single modes will be demonstrated and analyzed. Although the two brands are similar to each other, one has a clearly recognizable brand identity, while the other brand is failing. By analyzing and comparing the visual content of these two brands, we will be able to detect errors that may be critical to brand building and may have a negative impact on the perception of the potential clients with the result of brand extinction. The Diploma thesis is focused on marketing and semiotics and the use of these two fields combined. The Effect of Diabetic Diet on Eating Habits during Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

7 Abstract The aim of my bachelor thesis, which deals with eating habits relating to gestational diabetes, is to discover potential effects of diabetic diet on eating habits of patients with diagnosed gestational diabetes mellitus. The main hypothesis is related directly to this aim. Other subsidiary aims and hypotheses reflect not only concrete changes of eating habits and constraints in comparison with previous habits but also diagnosis, education and treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus in concrete medical institution where the research took place. My work is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part aims at gathering available information about gestational diabetes - emergence of disease, manifestation, perils and complications, diagnosis and dietary treatment. There are briefly mentioned general rules and principles of healthy eating. Practical part contains evaluation of data which was gathered during questionnaire research at Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of General University Hospital in Prague, where 30 patients of diabetic ambulance were addressed to be part of the research.
