Nikotinismus u žáků středních odborných škol

The topic of the bachelor thesis is nicotinism in secondary vocational school pupils. The theoretical part deals with risky behavior during adolescence and the concepts of addiction and adolescence. The conclusion of the theoretical part is dedicated to the occurrence of nicotineism in Czech education and prevention in general. Nicotinism is described in the most detail, which is the main topic of the bachelor's thesis. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains the results of a questionnaire survey. The aim was to find out whether and to what extent secon-dary vocational school pupils have experience with the use of products containing nicotine.
Evaluation of the results of the online district Geographic Olympiad 2020/21

The thesis deals with the analysis of tests of category D (secondary schools) of the district round of the 23rd year of the Geography Olympiad. In the theoretical part the concept of gifted children. At the same time, different approaches to their definition are discussed. In the following chapters, the Geography Olympiad subject competition, its system and structure are introduced. The criteria and selection processes that enable selected competitors to represent the Czechia at international geography competitions are presented. This is followed by an analysis of the course of the competition during the period of the covid-19 pandemic and a description of the measures taken to ensure the security and continuity of the competition. A deeper attention is paid to the evaluation of the results of the district round of the 23rd year of the Geography Olympiad and the success of the competitors in the individual parts of the competition. Specifically, the parts of work with an atlas, the written test of geographical knowledge and the practical part are evaluated. Dignity of dying elderly from the perspective of accompanying relatives

The work focuses on the issue of dignity of the dying elderly. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the main themes of the thesis, such as old age and dying with regard to dignity, as well as the accompaniment of the dying elderly and the impact of hospitalization on the elderly and their families. The research, i.e. the empirical part of the thesis, focuses on the area of accompaniment. The research was conducted in the form of interviews and the analysis was done using the grounded theory method. According to the results of the research, the situation in hospital facilities is alarming and the respect for the dignity of dying elderly has reserves according to the attendants. The attitude of health professionals is perceived as problematic both in relation to dying patients and in relation to the accompanying relatives of the dying. According to the respondents, the leading problems are undignified attitude, inadequate communication and lack of information and inability to accompany and visit the dying. These are therefore simple and basic aspects of quality care. Organizational Culture as a Significant Element of Establishing a Strong Employer Brand and Increasing Employees' Work Performance

The rigorous thesis analyses the organisational culture and its role in building a strong employer brand with implications for improving work performance. The thesis describes the correlation between contemporary employees' values, organizational culture enabling employees to realize their values, the transparently communicated image of the organization imprinted in the employer brand and employee performance. The Means-End Chain theory and the Employee Value Proposition tool are introduced. Their use in forming a happy organizational culture, building a strong employer brand, and improving employees' performance is presented. The aim of the qualitative research is to analyse the link between organizational culture and employer branding with the impact on employees' performance, from the perspective of top management of various organizations. The data are collected from the semi-structured interviews, supplemented by a questionnaire survey. Data are analysed to get an insight and understanding of the practices of the organizations. The rigorous thesis analyses the relationship between organizational culture, building a strong employer brand and increasing employee performance. Using the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) tool, the thesis defines the prerequisites for an organizational culture in which employees feel joy, and meaning, and are immersed in their job, which has a positive impact on their engagement as well as on their work performance. The EVP tool is also connected with the employer branding activities to be as effective as possible when the organization efforts to gain the loyalty of the best current and future employees. The aim of the qualitative research is to analyse the organisational culture of the eight small and medium-sized Central Bohemian organisations using the EVP tool, focusing on the factors of increasing work performance and building a strong employer brand. Data collection takes the form of semistructured interviews with the directors of these organisations, supplemented and enriched by a questionnaire survey. This bachelor's thesis deals with the creations of a business plan for the establishment of a new company offering hookahs. The work consists of theoretical, analytical and design parts. The first part focuses on the definition of terms related to the topic. The second part analyzes the current state of the market using selected methods. The third part contains the elaboration of the business and financial plan, which is substantiated in the previous sections.
