The " Legislation for breeding animals" thesis gives overview of laws and regulations in this area. The respective legislation is included in many acts and regulations of public law, mainly the laws protecting animals from abuse. Some aspects of entrepreneurship and animal trade are included in private law. One part of the thesis covers international agreements and European legislation. Out of secondary European legislation the thesis discusses some regulations relating to the topic. The thesis also contains chapters on legislature concerning animal abuse, veterinary care and animal trade. It states differences in record keeping of farm animals and pet animals. The thesis also deals with animal trade, farming, breeding facilities and animal shelters. The thesis contains a chapter on competencies and the distribution of competencies among the authorities. There is a list of some competencies relating to the topic at every authority, with some authorities there are issues which are rarely addressed in publications (e.g. animal training licence or alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes). The thesis also provides chapters on criminal acts and offences. Managing a Firm in a Global Environment

This master thesis focuses on the process of globalization and its consequences that allowed for the formation of multinational corporations. The current environment is characterized by the fast pace of changes that requires firms react flexibly, which demands new approaches to managing employees, creating more flexible organizational structures supporting creative people, and innovation because people and innovations are the key sources of competitive advantages. The goal of this thesis is to analyze changes at O2 after Spanish telecommunications firm Telefónica S.A. sold a majority stake to PPF in 2013. The changes associated with the switch in ownership can chiefly be seen in the firm's goals, its organizational structure, its policy toward employees, in customer satisfaction, and in its investments and share price.

Criminal law and criminological aspects of the rape crime

(EN): Criminal Law and Criminological Aspects of the Rape Crime The rape crime is a very specific crime. Although it belongs to the most painful and traumatic crimes, the public does not often pay enough attention to it, which in practice leads to the fact that rape victims are sometimes overlooked, treated insensitively, or their trauma is often trivialized. We also cannot ignore the fact that the rape crime is accompanied by a number of prejudices, which are for many decades ingrained in our society. All these aspects result in the fact that this crime is characterized by very high latency rate. In my diploma thesis, I dealt with the criminal law and criminological aspects of the rape crime. I was also concerned with the progress in legal regulation of rape, which has changed a lot in past 50 years. My diploma thesis consists of two parts; the criminological part and the criminal law part. The first part contains criminological aspects of the rape crime, especially general introduction into the problem and definitions of the rape according to different theories and scientific approaches, types of rape, ways how the rape is usually committed (so called modus operandi), and one chapter is also dedicated to the rape victims. Reform of Canadian asylum system

The Master thesis The Reform of Canada's Asylum System deals with the refugee issue in Canada. Canada's asylum system has been the subject of controversy almost since its inception in the 1970s. The asylum system has been crippled by a cumbersome inland refugee determination process which resulted in a huge backlog of unresolved asylum claims. Even though various governments have tried to reform the dysfunctional system, newly implemented measures only have led to even bigger backlog and longer delays, which encourage people who are not in need of protection to make an asylum claim knowing they will be able to skip the regular but lengthy immigration process and have immediate access to a range of generous social benefits. The thesis analyzes the problems of the existing asylum system which are seen in a general access to the refugee determination process, in its expensiveness, in the inefficiency of the immigration authorities, and in long delays allowing the asylum seekers to live and work in Canada for many years.
