Assessing Selected Indicators Using Statistical Methods

This bachelor thesis deals with an evaluation of the financial situation of the company 2G - spol. s r.o. - Přikrývky a polštáře using statistical methods. The first part contains theoretical starting points of the thesis, which define the necessary terms of financial analysis and statistical methods, such as the method of regression analysis and time series. In the second part of the thesis, this theory is applied in practice to the mentioned company, where selected financial indicators are analyzed and prediction of future development of these indicators is determined. On the basis of this analysis and evaluation, subsequently, they are submitted own proposals to improve the current state of the selected company.

The bachelor thesis is focusing on financial situation evaluation of the company ŠPVS, a. s. in the period 2013–2017. The first part of the thesis explains the theoretical concepts related to the financial analysis, defines the used indicators and the formulas, which are then used in the second part of the work, after a short presentation of the company itself, for the review of the actual state. The results identified in the last part are included in proposal to improve the state of the analysed company.

This diploma thesis deals with the process of introducing Competitive Intelligence into a selected agricultural company in order to help the company improve its market position and gain a competitive advantage. After evaluating the current situation of the company, there is a problem to be solved. After the theoretical part, the CI process is proposed to the company, including the phases that the company has to go through during the implementation. Then follows the use of selected methods for the analysis of the most important competitor. In conclusion, the whole proposal of the solution is summarized, including benefits for the company and possible shortcomings.

The bachelor´s thesis is focusing on the creation of a business plan for the establishment of a confectionery factory in Morava. The first chapter is focused on the theoretical basis of the thesis. The next chapter describes a current state, which contains a market analysis, the analysis of competition, SWOT and STEP analysis. The last chapter suggests a solution for possible problems.

The final thesis deals with the creation of a web application for companies that have more branches to simplify the storage and distribution system. The bachelor thesis contains a description of the planning and implementation of the project, but also the predictable income and expenses associated with the creation of the software. An integral part is the use of available analyzes to identify aspects that may affect the current or future course of the project.

The bachelor thesis on topic „Evaluation of the company's financial situation and proposals for improvement” deals with the problematics of the Spálovský a.s. company over the last five years. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical basis of the work, where the basic notions of the company's economy are defined. The other part is from practical aspect focused on brief characteristics of the Spálovský a.s. company, which includes calculations of selected indicators of financial analysis and interpretation of their results. In the third, the final part of the bachelor thesis, based on observed data, the bases to improve the company's financial situation are proposed.
