Financial analysis of ELTODO, a.s.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to conduct a financial analysis of the company ELTODO, a.s. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The first part describes methods used in this financial analysis, such as absolute, differential and financial ratios, balance rules, economic value added, DuPont analysis, bankruptcy and credit scoring models and spider analysis. In the practical part, those methods are applied to the financial analysis of ELTODO, a.s. for the period of 2011 - 2015. The analysed information is based on publicly available annual financial statements of the company. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings of the analysis and presents concrete proposals for improving the financial situation.
Credit risk management

The goal of the Master`s thesis is the credit risk analysis of existing corporation done from the point of view of a fictitious multinational corporation which operates in petrochemical business. At first, it deals with general definition of credit risk, tools for its management and methods for its elimination. Later, in the analytical section on an example of concrete model from practice modern trends in credit risk management are demonstrated, potential obstacles are analyzed and the most frequent problems with its application are noted. The main asset of the thesis is a comprehensive introduction of actual credit risk management system supplemented with own observations and experience. The outcome is an educational material for people with interest in given topic as well as for professionals in the field of credit risk management.

The aim of this thesis is to identify risks for the investor, examples of adjustments to EBITDA, net debt and net working capital and calculate the value of the target company compared to the value offered by the real investor on the market.
The evaluation of the investment of opening a new store in a franchize retail network

The goal of this diploma thesis is to assess the economic efficiency of the investment consisting in the opening of the new franchise retail network stores, specially Tesco Franchise Stores CR s.r.o. The thesis consists of two main parts - the theoretical part and the analytical part. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts which are related to the investment activities and the methods used to evaluate the investment plans. The ending part of the thesis describes the retail environment and the principles of franchising. The beginning of the analytical parts deals with the strategic analysis and description of the franchise model of the company Tesco Franchise Stores CR s.r.o. In addition, the analytical part focus on a specific investment plan, which is further specified and predicts the expected revenues and costs based and the information obtained from strategic analysis and the financial statements of the company. The end of the analytical part deals with the evaluation of the investment plan using dynamic methods.
Financial analysis of company Unilever ČR s.r.o.

The diploma thesis is focused on the financial analysis of Unilever ČR s.r.o., which operates on FMCG market and specialize in consumer and cosmetic goods. The goal of this thesis is to identify weaknesses of financial management of the company from year 2008 until the year 2015 from the external analyst point of view. The output of this thesis are recommendations for better financial situation in the future period of time. Implementation of traditional and modern financial analysis tools is based on research of specialized literature. Traditional methods include analysis of balance rules, horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of ratio indicators, analysis of differential indicators and pyramidal decomposition. The diagnosis of the financial situation and prediction of future of the company is implemented by the usage of creditworthy and bankruptcy models. A more modern point of view into problematic brings the usage of analysis of economic value added and usage of Spider analysis for comparison with market leaders. The source of information for practical part are annual reports, which are available for public on an online server provided by the Ministry of Justice.
Valuation of Linea Nivnice, a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to estimate the investment value of Linea Nivnice, a.s. by the date 1st January 2016. This thesis serves as a source of information and may serve as a basis for decision making of company's owners and potential investors. After stating a brief information about company, a financial analysis for last 5 years before valuation date is created. After that follows a strategic analysis, which concludes into company's sales prognosis. After that comes analysis and prognosis of value drivers, which are used to create financial plan. The last chapter consists of valuation using two methods, which are DCF Entity and market comparison. Thefinal investment value is estimated according to the result of DCF Entity method.
Credit market in the Czech Republic

The thesis discusses current situation in the credit market in the Czech Republic. The main objective is to describe the functioning of the mortgage market and other credit markets, aiming not only to finance their own housing, but also on non-purpose loans. Business loans will be mentioned only very strictly. Loans are so extensive topic that it deserves a clear explanation, which families and individuals will understand and what they can expect when they will solve financing or what products are offered, what these products actually mean and what life situation (with regard to creditworthiness of the applicant, the purpose of the loan, and many other aspects) are determined. The whole thesis not only describes how the credit market looks, but also practically demonstrates how the entire process of handling the loan looks like and what you need primarily to solve when dealing with the financing.
Strategic analysis of a chosen Prague's hotel

The main aim of this master thesis is to provide comprehensive overview of a chosen hotel's current condition using the strategic analysis which will also help to propose changes that lead to a better prosperity. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains all the terms needed for analysis. The hotel's terminology, strategy and the individual methods of a strategic analysis. The practical part is focused on strategic analysis itself. It is divided into external and internal business environment. Macro external environment is summarized using PEST analysis, microenvironment using Porter's five forces model. Internal environment is analysed with VRIO analysis. All the results are summarized using SWOT analysis, which will help to propose changes in the company.
Valuation of FOXCONN CZ s.r.o.

The aim of the Master´s Thesis Valuation of FOXCONN CZ s.r.o. is to determine the objectified value of the company FOXCONN CZ s.r.o. as at 31. 12. 2015 from the perspective of an external analyst. The Master´s Thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical-methodological part describes the procedure of calculation single methods leading to the final valuation of the company. The emphasis is mainly on description of valuation, strategic analysis, financial analysis, planning of value generators, financial plan and the individual valuation approaches. The practical part is based on the application of particular procedures and calculations, described in the theoretical part. Results of every single chapter are properly commented using relevant information and other facts. The conclusion contents the summary of gained results leading to the determination of final value of the company. Method of free cash flows to equity (FCFE) was used for valuation.
Applications credibility and bankruptcy models in the Czech Republic

The aim of this master´s thesis is to verify the usability of credibility and bankruptcy models for predicting the bankruptcy of the company and evaluate the financial situation of the company after the reorganization in the conditions of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this thesis contains of descriptions corporate crisis and its causes, consequences and individual phases. Next in this part are described models and their method of calculation. In the practical part are presented selected companies on which are applied the models. The companies´ situation has been evaluated several years before and after the declaring bankruptcy and then has been evaluated the ability of the credibility and bankruptcy models to predict the companies´ problems ahead of time. At the end of this thesis are summarized the results from evaluating of these companies by prediction models, the influence of input data on results and the recommendations to include the models in financial management of the company.
