Web portal for organizing races
Maslák, Roman ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with system for support of races. CMS Drupal is used to manage this system, which this system is suitable for web site content management. The first part of this work is devoted to the description and requirements that the proposed system for the support of races has to contain. The second part of the thesis deals with comparison of available CMS systems. Here are the most commonly used CMS systems that are currently available in OpenSource licenses. Next, there is a possibility to create a custom content management system, or use it with one CMS system. The third part is devoted to designing a web portal. This section contains flowcharts describing the principle of how each function works. It also contains a description of the basic structure of the web portal and the procedure for installing the CMS system. The last part describes the practical realization of the web portal. The procedure for accessing data stored in the MySQL database, generating start and result documents in a PDF file, registering racers, using client mail and setting up a CMS system is described here. In conclusion, all the results of the work are summarized.
Block cipher mode of operation
Kunert, Alois ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with Operation modes of symmetric ciphers. This thesis deals with both basic operation modes and with newer operation modes that offer additional functions. A conceptual design was made in semestral thesis, which was realised in this thesis. Finally an analysis of the basic operation modes, implemented in the web application ,was made to make a comparison between the measurments taken in the semestral thesis.
Detection of HTTP/2 DoS attacks
Jurek, Michael ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
This bahelor thesis is focused on the issue of generating and detecting network Slow DoS attacks of application protocol HTTP/2. As a goal it has to sum up princples of networking, chronological development of web protocols and principles of these attacks. It provides design, creation and testing of Slow DoS attacks generator and theirs successfull detection. Final product is tested on real web server Apache 2.4.17.
Web application for Cybersecurity Job Ads Analysis
Turek, Adam ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Ricci, Sara (advisor)
Electronic signature in practice
Blahušová, Klára ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The topic of this work is electronic signatures and their use in the European Union, while consideration is also given to nations in the European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) and others, such as Great Britain, USA and China. Description is given of legislation governing electronic signatures, the form this takes and differences between the aforementioned countries. Each section contains a list of relevant certificate authorities for the territories discussed therein. The first part defines what an electronic signature is and the theory behind it, whereas the other is devoted to application in said territories. A summary of the information provided herein is available online via a dedicated web app.
Securing web servers against DoS attacks
Bočkai, Maroš ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Sikora, Marek (advisor)
This work concerns the security of information technology, with the main emphasis on the analysis of network traffic during the ongoing denial of service attack. In the introduction, the reader is acquainted with the basic knowledge of the TCP / IP reference model, its layers and the protocols used. Furthermore, there is more detailed specification of DoS attack and the characteristics of selected Slow and Flood types of Dos attacks. In the created test environment, the mentioned attacks are subsequently tested and the collected data is analyzed, which is used to evaluate the results of the vulnerability of web servers to chosen attacks. The collected data are used to implement security features for the system to be able to minimize the effects of attacks.

Sikora, Marek ; Kratochvílová, Erika (referee) ; Šlanhof, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the elaboration of the construction and technology project of the kindergarden in Čelákovice. Diploma thesis contain technical report of construction and technology projet, design mechanical assembley with transportation route, design of construction site equipment, time schedule and the budget of the main building, technological prescription of the flat roof and control and test plan.
Design of a smart meter testing methodology focusing on invasive testing
Biolek, Martin ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on investigating the security deficits of smart meters through penetration testing. The theoretical part describes the standards that should be followed by smart meter manufacturers. This is followed by the practical part where the testing of two smart meter systems was conducted in order to discover their vulnerabilities. The result of the work is the exposure of one of the two systems of interest that requires significant security improvements before deployment of another version. A description of the vulnerabilities is included in the practical part of the thesis.
Secure data archiving using cloud computing
Šulič, Martin ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Člupek, Vlastimil (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on detailed analysis of possibilities of implementing a private cloud and secure data archiving for a long period of time using open-source tools. It describes the individual standards and processes of data preparation, as well as the OAIS reference model for long-term preservation. From the analyzed information, a complete design of the final solution is created, with a description of the functionality and the method of deployment in the environment of Docker containers. The design implementation and the main functionality of individual systems such as Archivematica or Nextcloud are thoroughly described and also the hardware requirements and cryptographic security were evaluated.
