Canistherapy in pre-school children with visual impairment

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the benefit of canistherapy for pre-school children with visual impairment from the point of view of all participants who are directly and indirectly affected by the process, ie children, their parents, the educator and therapist. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part we will focus on the characteristics of the vision and visually impaired and the development of the child with visual impairment from early to preschool age. As well as a system for pre-school children with visual impairment. Finally, we describe the characteristics of canistherapy. The practical part, is based on from semi-structured interviews with all the participants in the therapy. The objective of the bachelor thesis is to understand the benefit of canistherapy for pre-school children with visual impairment. The research questions are primarily focused on the opinion of the participants on canistherapy and the reactions of children to canistherapy. The bachelor thesis is intended for special teachers and pedagogical workers as well as for experts from the general public who are interested in this issue.
