Use of Grant Funds for the Realization of the Construction Project
Růžička, Jan ; Adlofová, Petra (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (advisor)
This master's thesis describes an issue of preparation and evaluation of investment projects which are co-financed by EU funds. A practical example of the specific investment project is used to demonstrate a usefulness of co-financing by these funds. This investment project is processed as a case study which includes both financial and economic evaluation of the project. This evaluation also includes assessment of effectiveness and efficiency of this investment project.
Sport Centre Za Lužánkami Brno
Růžička, Jan ; Kotek, arch Jakub (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
Master thesis elaborates architectural study of football stadium for FC Zbrojovka Brno, which base is urban study of the Sport Centre behind Lužánky. Football stadium creates a main dominant of the area. The proposal satisfies requirements by ČMFS and UEFA's major league stadium 3rd category with some elements of the Elite category. The architectural expression of the football stadium and its volume solution is based on the morphology of sports buildings. Based on the shape of the auditorium. Individual sides of the auditorium are curved and connected by a quarter-circle corner. Arena auditorum arrangement enhances not only the audience but the gaming experience too. The external appearance of the stadium is due to the support structure of the roofing that creates division of the fasade which is filled by ETFE foil with reinforcements of glass fiber fabric. The capacity of the football stadion is designed for a total of 15 000 spectators. Of these, 160 seats are reserved for spectators whit impaired mobility and orientation and accompaniment and 340 VIP seats. The rest is devided into two grandstand, lower one has 8 200 seats, upper one 6 300 seats.
Production of a Jig Using Rapid Prototyping Technology
Růžička, Jan ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design, modeling and manufacturing of complex shaped parts using modern additive technology Rapid Prototyping. The theoretical basis of the work is involved in Rapid Prototyping and CAD systems and their technology, terminology and basic terms. The analytical part is dedicated to the implementation of the design – construction of the model in parametrical software SolidWorks followed with a creation of the part using 3D printer uPrint working on Fused Deposition Modeling method. Conclusion of this work compares this method with CNC machining and evaluates which method is more efficient and more economical.
Financial Evaluation of Construction Project from Aspect of Investor
Růžička, Jan ; Adlofová, Petra (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to approach possibility of financing investment construction project from perspective of smaller public investor – the village. As part of this work will be evaluated and assessed the possibility of financial acquisition of project Complex revitalization of center Cechy pod Kosirem in specific ways of financing and also demonstrates advantages of implementation of co-financing mainly from grants of the European Union. Further focuses on the proposed acquisition of subsidies from structural funds as an external source of financing of construction project.
Residential Building - Lesná
Růžička, Jan ; Drobníček, Ladislav (referee) ; Menšíková, Naděžda (advisor) ; Krupicová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a new residential building in the locality Brno- Lesná. The building plot stands in the middle of three different urban units. Firstly, Lesna housing estate consisting mainly of eight-floor prefabricated blocks of flats. Secondly, the Divisova colony consisting mainly of low rise houses and two-storey family houses. Lastly, directly linked structure, newly built blocks of flats with terrace north of the building plots. These are seven-story buiding, where the first two floors the garage occupy and the additional five floors are flats. Another important factor affecting the design is the nature of the lot, which slopes to the west, and creates very interesting views of Brno, especially the Spilberk castle and Cathedral Sant Peter and Paul. The design seeks to build on the surrounding buildings and create a transition between the low-rise buildings Divis colony and housing development Lesna and terraced houses. This is achieved by using a gradation of cubic masses from single-storey houses to the five-story residential building. Optimizing of space for each flat or villa house was achieved by rotating the individual, which also ensures the uniqueness of flats and their orientation and views of city centre.
Warehouse Hall with Outbuilding
Růžička, Jan ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the work is to design steel structure warehouse hall with outbuilding in the city of Brno. Plan dimensions of the building are 24x48m. The main supporting part is diagonal links with range 18m and a height in the top of the ship 8.9m, which is hinged to the base structure. The main structure is articulated outbuilding with dimensions 6x48m and height in the top 5.6m. Diagonal frame links are formed of beams and columns. Among the main support frames are thin-walled solid purlins reinforced rods. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by cross braces. Roof cladding and walls will be made using sandwich panels. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2012 program and by hand calculation.
Business Plan
Homolková, Hana ; Růžička, Jan (referee) ; Sládková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is a foundation of a new beauty salon. The work deals with all aspects which are relating to its establishment and management. The work uses different methods for describe all steps which lead to foundation of the beauty salon. It works up with the issues of establishment of the successful salon, in which the customers want to return, the searching system for new customers, acquisition of market share.
Parking building
Růžička, Jan ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to design a steel structure of the parking building in the center of Brno. The plan dimensions of the building are 29 x 77.5 m including a missing corner of the dimensions 5 x 12.5 m in the southeast part of the construction. The construction of the parking building has 4 above-ground floors with the same layout and the fifth floor situated only in the middle section of the construction. Each floor is 3.5 m high. The total height of the construction in the place of the roofed part of the fifth floor is 17.5 m, otherwise 14 m. A spatial frame is the main load-bearing part consisting of 7 fields in the longitudinal direction and 5 fields in the transversal direction. The spatial frame is formed of columns and longitudinal and transversal girders. Steel-concrete composite joists are pin-supported among longitudinal girders. The construction of the parking building is solved in three versions considering different placing of columns to the base structure and different placing of longitudinal and transversal girders to the columns. The resulting draft is worked out in details. Roof cladding will be made using sandwich panels and walls will be made out of glass panels. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2014 program and by manual calculation.
Fossil clown beetles (Coleoptera: Histeridae): early evolution of "beetle tanks"
Simon Pražák, Jan ; Prokop, Jakub (advisor) ; Růžička, Jan (referee)
Clown beetles (Histeridae) represent a diverse (>4500 described species) group of beetles with worldwide distribution (except Antarctica) and with exceptional diversity of occupied habitats. Specialisation on environments such as subcortical space, dung and carrion, tunnels of wood- boring insects, caves, sand deserts, beaches, rodent burrows or ant colonies, has led to remarkable adaptations of morphology and even radical changes of entire body shape. To understand evolutionary paths of this extraordinary group of beetles, fossils are of vital importance. In this study, I examined eight undescribed species of fossil Histeridae from mid-Cretaceous Burmese and Hkamti ambers. I provide morphological descriptions and discuss possible taxonomical position of these species based on morphological characters. I further tested the phylogenetic position of all Cretaceous Histeridae genera via a topology-constrained maximum parsimony analysis based on a set of 69 characters. Among the studied species, representatives of Abraeini and Paromalini are reported for the first time from the Cretaceous. I discuss evolutionary implications based on the new as well as other Histeridae fossils. Subcortical strategy was likely common in the Cretaceous histerids, now reported in three separate lineages. It is also...
