Automata Systems
Petřík, Patrik ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This work deals with automata systems. We define parallel automata systems and parallel communicating automata systems communicating by transitions, whose components are finite state automata. We investigate their properties compared with grammar systems or grammars.

Bachelor's thesis studies neural networks that are used for time serie prediction. Particularly it is feedforward neural network with backpropagation learning algorithm, neural network with radial basis functions and higher order neural network. Various parameters of these networks are tested and comparised. Testing is performed on time series of historical prices of financial markets. Other neural networks and other forecasting methods of financial markets are mentioned briefly.
Game with Robots
Sasýn, Radek ; Solár, Peter (referee) ; Petřík, Patrik (advisor)
This thesis deals with creating a computer game in which robots are fighting in the arena. The users can define the robot's behavior by using a special programming language. Definition of robots and it's processing is implemented by using fuzzy logic. The thesis describes the theoretical knowledge of fuzzy logic and game Robocode, programming language design and application architecture, and finally a description of the implementation of individual parts of the application.
