Štěch, Martin ; Lukášová, Tereza (advisor) ; Maule, Petr (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the efficiency of solar energy support in the Czech Republic in 2006-2016. The paper shows the progressive development of photovoltaics, including economic and political impacts. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the position of the Czech Republic in the Europe 2020 program in terms of increasing the representation of renewable resources. In the theoretical part, the work is first devoted to the Czech Republic's energy sector, including renewable resources, energy policy and then to the development of the photovoltaic system. The practical part evaluates the efficiency of solar energy support in the Czech Republic in the chosen period. Support for solar energy seems to be economically inefficient both for the construction of large or small systems. The analysis of the influence of pro-population policy on birth rates in the Czech Republic between 1970-2015
Zikmundová, Ivana ; Strejček, Ivo (advisor) ; Lukášová, Tereza (referee)
The topic of natality and pro-population policy is very actual. Due to the population aging and the associated change of the age structure, it is discussed not only about the lack of resources to finance the old-age pensions, that are the largest item of state social expenditure, but also other economic issues, that can the population decline or the change of the age structure cause. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is, based on a description of the influence of the selected factors on the birth rates in the Czech Republic between 1970-2015 and on the analysis of economic costs and benefits by having a child in 2015, to confirm or refute the hypothesis that the implementation of the suitable pro-population measures has a generally positive effect on the birth rate. The results of the research confirmed the hypothesis, although the influence of the individual factors on the birth rate was not completely unambiguous. The current fertility rate of the Czech Republic is far below the limit of simple reproduction and the numbers of women in the fertile age are likely to decrease in the coming years. Therefore, it is appropriate to choose a suitable pro-population policy. It could be more focused on the support of working parents with small children because the current social security system is more attractive to low-income families and can demotivate some individuals from entering or returning to the labour market.
Analysis of the development of approach to social housing in the Czech Republic in 2000 - 2017
Staňková, Karolína ; Lukášová, Tereza (advisor) ; Prudká, Šárka (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the increasingly topical question of social housing. The bachelor thesis deals not only with the current situation in the housing market, but also the development in previous years, which has influenced the present situation. The secondary topic of the bachelor thesis is the Housing First philosophy of social housing, which shows significantly better results than the Czech three-degree permeable system. The issue of social housing is crucial for the future development of the Czech population, because the number of people at risk of poverty is not decreasing and the number of people "on the street" is increasing. Based on the analysis in the bachelor thesis, it is clear that the situation of people at risk of poverty is not as much influenced by the amount of state expenditures in the housing policy, as rather by the set-up of state care in the area of housing. However, the adoption of the bill on social housing and the housing allowance in its present form brings with it many problems, such as the abuse of social partments by privileged citizens and interest groups and the pressure on the state budget. Also for these reasons, the legislative process of this act is lengthy and it is therefore a question whether the act will actually be adopted, or whether the set-up of the current housing policy in the Czech Republic will only be adjusted.

Skřivancová, Petra ; Štípek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Lukášová, Tereza (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and evaluation of the impact of changes that occurred in the system of sickness insurance in the Czech Republic between 2010 and 2017. During this period there were several legislative adjustments to the Sickness Insurance Act, especially the austerity measures adopted in 2010 and the adjustments in 2011 and 2014. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the history and the present system, as well as the legislative changes in individual years. The end of the theoretical part characterizes sickness insurance and its benefits. The beginning of the practical part is devoted to the model example of the calculation of sickness insurance benefits, where we can observe the influence of adopted austerity measures. The second part analyzes the impact of changes to income and expenditures of sickness insurance. Expenditures have risen in recent years and are reaching the level of income, which may lead to the system´s financial incompetence. Furthermore, there is an analysis of the indicators of sickness insurance, mainly temporary incapacity for work, which shows that despite the reduction of the average length of one case, the average percentage of incapacity for work is increasing. Finally thesis analyzes the impact of changes on the circles of insured people and evaluates the impact of changes. Based on the results obtained, measures are then proposed to improve the sickness insurance system.

The analysis of the development of expenses of the state social support system in the Czech Republic from 2004 to 2016
Vítková, Lucie ; Lukášová, Tereza (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the development of expenses of the state social support system in the Czech Republic from 2004 to 2016. The system is one of the most crucial tools for the financial support of families with children. The relation between expenses and macroeconomic variables is the subject of examination. With the help of correlation and regression analysis, the hypothesis of linear increasing and decreasing of the state social support system expanses based on the development of GDP is also examined. No relation between expenses on social benefits and the economic cycle was confirmed in the analysis. The following section of this bachelor thesis analyses the legislation specifying the amount of expenditure of all currently paid social benefits. The measures implemented before the parliament elections of the year 2006, when the expenses reached their maximum in 2007 - almost 48 billion Czech crowns - predominantly because of this measure, are especially worthy of attention. The final part of this bachelor thesis is the author's own assessment of the issue.
