Energy supply of the complex Technicka 2
Buráň, Petr ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The theme of this master thesis is „Energy supply to the site Technická 2“. This thesis is divided into several parts. First we will get in touch with concept of combined heat and power and also with principle of photovoltaic electricity production. We will continue with description of site before and after reconstruction. Then we will follow with analyze the effect of reconstruction on energy consumption. In the end we will make some suggestions for using the local source of heat and electricity in Faculty of mechanical engineering, Brno university of technology. All suggestions will be analyzed from energy and economic point of view.
Carbon Capture Storage/Utilization
Šuráň, Michal ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of CCS and CCU. The main objective is a research of capture, transport, storage and utilization of carbon dioxide, specifically technologies associated with the combustion of fossil and biomass resources. The first part describes fuel transformations and subsequent separation technologies. The second part explains the transport of CO2. The third and fourth chapters refer to methods of storing and using carbon dioxide. The last section focuses on the issue of CO2 capture using biomass resources.
Alternative pellets production
Janíček, Jakub ; Lisý, Martin (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains a review of possible technologies for the production of pellets and briquettes. Emphasis is placed on technology for the treatment of biomass for further use. Easy to biomass use is subject to the homogenization and adjusting to the wood chips, pellets or briquettes. The final part of thesis is concerned with energy and economic balance of a specific production line pellets.
Degradation of Biomass Fuels during Storing
Elbl, Patrik ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis aims to deal with degradation of biomass fuels during storing. The first part of thesis is dedicated to research study concerning of biomass in general. There are mentioned properties of biomass, separation, issues of combustion and storing. The second part deals with experimental determination of degradation of fuel during storing and weather conditions.
Modern Trends of Heating of Family House
Dohnal, Jakub ; Suk, Ladislav (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with modern trends of heating of family house. At the beggining is indicated brief history and current sources for heating of family houses. After this is described a research of various technologies for heating with their advantages and disadvantages. The last part is given to comparison all methods of heating and overall evaluation.
Hotwater boiler for natural gas,60 MW, 1,6 MPa, 150/70°C
Gardavský, Jan ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design a hotwater boiler for burning natural gas with an output of 60 MW. Boiler works with temperature difference 150 °C / 70 °C. For a given fuel is calculated stoichiometric calculation. The following is the calculation of the heat balance of the boiler including the determinativ of thermal efficiency. The fuel used, the required parameters of hot water and feed water temperature are designed individual convective surfaces and dimensions of the boiler. The boiler design includes drawings.
Modern Biogas Station as Part of "Smart Regions"
Horák, Jakub ; Pavel,, Milčák (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of computational model of a biogas plant and its use in the concept of intelligent region with focusing on district heating and cooling network. The introduction contains review of technology used in the biogas plant. This review covers the description of modern biogas plants and determination of the energy and technology parameters for computational model of biogas plant. The next part of thesis describes analyze of the dynamics of the operation and the possibilities of using waste heat from biogas plant. The last and also the most important part is based on design of computational model of a biogas plant and design of connection of a biogas plant to the district heating and cooling network.
The design of a duel pressure horizontal heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) utilizing flue gas from a natural gas burning turbine
Pauliny, Jan ; Svoboda, Petr (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
RDF Grate Biomass Boiler
Kudýn, David ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the design of a grate boiler with natural circulation for the combustion of refuse-derived fuels with the required heat output of 5 MW. Stochiometric calculations are executed at the introduction of the thesis, furthermore, the efficiency of the boiler is set down by an indirect method. Afterwards, the dimensions of the boiler are designed, with individual heat-exchanging surfaces. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to verifications of heat balance, the check of chlorine corrosion and setting down pressure losses for working medium and also for flue gas. The scheme of the boiler is attached in the appendix.
Energy Mix in the Czech Republic
