Retro-style Digitron clock controlled by the DCF 77 signal
Rollinek, Jakub ; Ševčík, Břetislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis contains a theoretical analysis of the DCF77 signal reception, design of receiver circuit, display and control unit. The device is able to display exact time and date even in a case of DCF77 signal loss. The device is designed in retro-style. The device is realized and properties of the device are measured.
Hybrid module for industrial localization
Power supply for acquisition and communication subsystem of a current transformer
Beran, Tomáš ; Král, Jan (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on designing a power supply for measuring part and communication part of a device, which is supposed to analyze current waveforms on high voltage lines. The power supply consists of a current transformer, control electronics, and accumulation elements. The thesis analyzes the current waveforms on high voltage lines to get an overview of input data so that the right current transformer can be chosen. A working principle of these transformers is described, as well as the options for accumulation elements. Power supply requirements for the power supply are determined as well. The next part of the thesis summarises this theoretical knowledge and applies it to the schematic design. This is followed by a description of the schematic with an included description of function blocks. Additional adjustments that would improve the power supply's properties might be mentioned. This will be followed by designing a PCB layout. The final part includes the manufacturing process and determination of parameters like power, efficiency, etc. In the manufacturing process, the PCB will be printed, soldered, and evaluated on an electrical test. The electrical test inspects the functionality of the designed power supply by simulating real-life scenarios of high voltage lines. At last, an impact of the power supply on the measuring system will be analyzed.
Uninterruptible AC Power Supply
Jansa, Josef ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the standby power sources for heating circulating pumps for solid fuel. This work also deals with specific design UPS for circulating pump house 230 VAC maximum power of 50W, including automatic battery charger 12V and monitoring units.
Laboratory Kit for Programmable Logic Demonstration
Svoboda, Stanislav ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor’s project deals with solutions of laboratory kit for teaching of work with CPLD curcuits which are made by company ALTERA. It is also including design of PCB - printed cirucit board and way of their realization. For construction is used circuit CPLD EPM 7064SLC44 made by ALTERA. Whole laboratory kit for Programable Logic Demonstration is designed as individual unit, which is capable to work as individual function. The kit can be amplified by connection of optional peripherals.
Design of stabilized dual power supply
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on design and construction of stabilized dual power supply with adjustable output voltage in range 0 – 30 V and adjustable current limit in range 0 – 3 A. Power supply consists of line transformer, switching regulator and subsequent application of linear regulator for better output properties. Measurement of output voltage and current is realized by microcontroller ATmega644, which has optical separated inputs. In this thesis the device is designed and simulated. The design is verified by prototype device and then full construction is done. Construction is tested by measurements, which confirm a proper design.
System for precise dynamic measurement of bridge sensors
Čech, Jonáš ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design of measurement system for dynamic measurement of bridge sensors. After a short theoretical part, the own concept is introduced. System can provide sampling rate up to 250 kSa/s with 24-bit resolution. The maximum number of samples is about one and a half milion. At first, the design of analog part was made, in this phase of design the digital part is based on evaluation board with ARM Cortex-M7 and external memory. After final choice of appropriate ICs, the analog and digital part will be integrated into one PCB.
