Proposal of Waste Elimination in the Production of Stabilizers

This thesis is trying to solve the elimination of waste and the increase of effectiveness of the packaging process of the stabilizers in the Mubea Stabilizer Bar Systems s.r.o company. The current unsuitable state of the process of packaging is being analysed in this thesis with the help of the techniques and tools of the LEAN methodology. After the subsequent evaluation of the results of the analysis, the suggestion, which should improve and optimize the actual unsuitable state, is being devised.
STREAMLINING OF THE PACKAGING PROCESS AT ASSEMBLY SITES

The thesis deals with finding a way to streamline the process of packaging stabilizers at assembly workplaces in order to increase its productivity. The analysis of the current state in which the process is in is carried out using lean manufacturing methods. On the basis of this analysis, and after its evaluation, a proposal is made to make the process leaner and thus increase its productivity.
System Proposal for the Use of Low-potential Heat

This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of a low-potential heat from the energetics point of view. It also deals with the sources and subsequent use of the low-potential heat. First of all, the thesis mentions the origin of these sources and also describes where they can be found. Also the technologies, that are able to utilize this heat, like heat pumps and solar collectors, are mentioned in this part of the thesis. In its next part, the bachelor thesis deals with use of the waste heat for heating and production of electrical energy. In the last part, the thesis presents the project that introduces a specific concept of the system for object heating from the waste heat.

Academic department's bulletin board

Goal of this project is to create application that could serve as an academic department's bulletin board. This application should allow to create different types of records and even specify a new type during runtime. Types may for example include notifications about lectures, book reviews, job offers, news from other sources, etc. Records may be added through web interface or by sending an email to specified email address. Appearance of the pages can be personified according to every users need - it consists of windows with defined position, content (type of records + filters) and graphical features (eg. template - size, color, fonts, . . .). Project will also containt comparison of caching mechanisms and their impact on application performance.
