HPLC Analysis of Albendazole and Its Metabolites Using a Core-Shell Column
Králíková, Alena ; Kubíček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Lázníčková, Alice (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry Candidate: Alena Králíková Supervisor: Ing. Vladimír Kubíček, CSc. Title of diploma thesis: HPLC Analysis of Albendazole and Its Metabolites Using a Core- Shell Column The HPLC analysis of albendazole and its metabolites using the core-shell column Ascentis® Express RP-Amide is studied in the thesis. A suitable composition of the mobile phase was searched in the first part of the experiment. Two mobile phases of different composition, enabling an excellent separation of albendazole and its metabolites, were found. The linearity of the diode-array detector response in a wide concentration range of the benzimidazoles for both found mobile phases were tested in the second part. Calibration curves for albedazole, albendazole sulphone, and albendazole sulfoxide were constructed using the measured values.
