Socioeconomic passportization of immovable cultural heritage

Předkládaná metodika je výsledkem aplikovaného výzkumu a je zaměřena na ekonomiku památek, resp. nemovitých objektů prohlášených kulturními památkami České republiky. Jejím cílem je vytvoření pasportů ekonomických hodnot pro jednotlivé památkové objekty, v případě využití metodiky orgány veřejné správy i pro soubory památek určitého druhu či soubory památek na vymezeném území.

ZUŠ Prosek – analysis of activities

The bachelor thesis describes the history of artistic education in our country and the development of the legislation of arts education after 1989. It discusses in detail the Framework educational program for basic art education as one of the main curriculum documents. For a particular case of the Basic art school, Prague 9, Prosek school 92 analyzes activities and finances. In the research, it compares the Prosek art school with other art schools in Prague 9 and creates a map of the students' spatial structure as a new method of comparing schools.

The role of religious organizations in providing palliative care with the st. Jan Neumann hospice in Prachatice as an example

This Bachelors thesis is focused on contemporary palliative care. In the thesis, the history of care of the sick and elderly is outlined. Furthermore, the role of the Christian Church in this care is described, along with its significance in health care in the past and today. The thesis deals with the possibilities of palliative care, its present situation in the Czech Republic and the possibilities of carrying it out, alongside with describing more closely hospice care within culture, legislation and economy. It describes what is the role of the Association of providers of hospice palliative care and what were the reasons for the establishment of this association. Findings from the theoretical part are applied in practice on st. Jan N. Neumann hospice in Prachatice.

Cultural aspects of stormwater management in the environment of Czech cities

The bachelor thesis focuses on new trends in stormwater management in urbanized areas, as well as on enlightenment which successful implementation of these strategies requires. The thesis describes historical development of drainage systems and introduces the reasons for unsustainability of current state. It also analyzes the implications of stormwater management and the ways of applying this new approach in urbanized areas. It also examines if there are sufficient endeavours to spread awareness and enhance enlightenment about stormwater treatment in the Czech Republic. For this purpose, qualitative method of research was used. The aim of the research was to demonstrate opinions of experts on water management, and also of organizations focused on environmental education.

Third Age education in Municipal library in Louny

The thesis' theoretical part focuses on resource research on topics: education of seniors, volunteering, communities, societies and library. In the practical part of this thesis, we focus on description of not-only educational work of Municipal library in Louny and the analysis of senior's attendance in culture using a custom survey. The survey was focused on middle-aged and older inhabitants in the town Louny, and developed, evaluated and collected by the author of this thesis. In the last part, we can find description of the collected data. Here it analytically evaluates and compares information about the socio-cultural activities in Louny, and offers the next step of development for management of the library.

Possibilities of Revitalization of the Buďánka Heritage Zone

The bachelor thesis describes the aspects of the heritage conservation in the Czech Republic using a specific example. The aim of the thesis is to clarify the causes of devastation of the settlement Buďánka, a heritage zone. The purpose of the thesis is to find out whether the dismal conditions of the settlement buildings are caused by the strict conditions set by the authorities responsible for monument preservation. The thesis aims at outlining possible procedures in regeneration of similar areas using the example of revitalization of the conservation area for the purposes of citizens´ initiatives. In particular, the thesis makes use of researches of primary information sources, mainly documents, as well as observations and personal interviews with the parties involved.

Possibilities of economical pasportization of immovable cultural monuments

The thesis elaborates and evaluates the indicators of the certified methodology Socio-economic Passportation of Immovable Cultural Monuments, which was created within the framework of the NAKI project Effective Methods of Support of Small and Middle-sized Subjects of Cultural Sector in Environment of National and European Economy. A set of indicators of a certified methodology is applied to selected objects of immovable cultural monuments, such as Děčín Chateau, Dub Chateau, Sloup Castle and others. The goal is to evaluate user-friendliness of indicators (their comprehensibility, time-consuming) and their practical use depending on the type of users of the methodology.

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on renewal of national cultural monument Mountain hotel and television transmitter Ještěd in Liberec. The aim of this thesis is to find out, whether today's operation is fulfilling the potential of the location. The theoretical section describes history of Ještěd mountain, the process of declaration for cultural and national cultural monument, current condition of the building and introduces organizations involved in operation. Thesis looks into overall renewal, which Ještěd will go through in nearby future, and individual steps, which led to its preparation. The practical section analyses individual alternative uses of operation and compares them to the current model. The thesis uses methods of qualitative and quantitative research.

Planning and Development of the Town of Janske Lazne

The primary objective of this Study is a review of key elements of the Town's urban planning and design. The theory introduces destination management challenges faced not only by this particular township but also of other Czech Republic towns and cities specializing in rehabilitation treatments in general. Subsequently, the studied theory is applied to the selected destination of Janske Lazne. Finally, I will recommend possible future developments for the Town.
