Inventory management system of packaging products in manufacturing company

The aim of the bachelor thesis is optimization of inventory management of packaging in chosen company including proposal of steps to reduce financial resources in inventory and to increase level of supplier services. Company, which was chosen for the analysis is LE & CO - Ing. Jiří Lenc, s.r.o., which is producing ham and meat specialties. All data, needed for elaboration of current inventory management and its analysis were obtained from internal documents, from observation of processes in the company and guided conversation with logistics coordinators and director. Based on this information were found weak points in evidence of assumpted consumption and stock in main warehouse. According to received overview of inventory level from January 2019 till the end of July 2019 was made ABC analysis, which revealed items with small and irregular usage. Considering mentioned aspects, were suggested optimizations to improve inventory management system.
