Acquisition and development of professional competencies of attorneys

Due to the nature of their work, attorneys, as professional legal representatives of natural and legal persons, must possess a variety of professional, digital and soft skills. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and identify the professional competences possessed by attorneys, and to determine how professional competences can be acquired and developed. The theoretical part, based on a literature review, introduced the lawyer as a profession providing legal services. Furthermore, the general concept of competences and competency models were presented. The research methodology used is qualitative. The research (empirical) part is based on the technique of semi-structured in-depth interviews with attorneys, which allowed a more detailed evaluation of the relationship of attorneys to individual professional competences, including the way they are acquired and developed in their working life. Based on the qualitative analysis of the research findings, which was conducted using an inductive method, it was found that attorneys generalise professional competences into 4 groups. The diploma thesis deals with the motivation and educational needs of teaching staff, specifically primary school teachers, within the framework of continuing professional education courses. The work also deals with the barriers to further education experienced by these workers. Further education of teaching staff enables teaching staff to deepen or expand their qualifications, which is essential for the further performance of their profession. Factors influencing the motivation for such education can be quite diverse and result from the individual educational needs and attitudes of specific individuals. Analysis and identification of these educational needs is important for planning and subsequent implementation of educational activities. The thesis deals with new possibilities and approaches in the field of education and resocialization of individuals in prison. The process of treatment of prisoners in the prison system is carried out by systematic and professional methods of treatment. At present, according to the current strategic document, the Concept of the Prison System until 2025, the main focus is on education and employment of persons in prison. The issue of resocialisation and further education of convicts is developed within the framework of social andragogy. The theoretical part will analyse the possibilities of using andragogical, social and social andragogical counselling in imprisonment. The sub-objective of the thesis is to characterize the individual stages of the counselling process and to define its contribution to the reintegration of convicts. The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the career path and the survey of the opinions of primary school teachers on the introduction of career regulations. In the theoretical part, it defines pedagogical practice, further education, and professional development of pedagogical workers and the career growth of teachers. The main objective of the empirical part was to describe the opinion of pedagogical workers on the introduction of the proposed career order and to identify the current social influences that influence pedagogical workers when implementing the career order in practice. The secondary objectives were to describe how the professional career of a primary school teacher proceeds and to identify differences in the professional career of teachers in the context of their experience and age. The research investigation was based on a qualitative approach and a semi-structured interview method was used to collect data. The thesis deals with the specifics of integration and education of foreigners studying at universities in the Czech Republic. Nowadays, studying abroad is very affordable and therefore many students go to different countries and a significant percentage of them go to the Czech Republic. It is therefore essential that they feel comfortable here and that their studies have as few obstacles as possible. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to describe the access of foreigners to education in the Czech Republic, to find out how the adaptation process of foreigners to a new environment can be influenced, and to describe the integration and educational barriers of foreigners actively studying at universities in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of the thesis a description of the integration process, the legal framework for higher education in the Czech Republic, intercultural differences in education is realized. Czechoslovak dissent as a learning society

The diploma thesis is dealing with the problematics of Czechoslovak/Czech dissent, especially in the years from 1977 to 1989 and with its position as a learning society on its own. In the text, the status of dissent in the general society is described and followed, along with the ostracization of it, which ultimately led to a forming of a parallel polis, which included both parallel educational and cultural systems. Those were based on transmitting and sharing knowledge and skills inside of the community. Considering many activities performed by dissent organizations, the thesis takes interest mainly in four educational and cultural structures: home seminars, home theatre, samizdats and so-called festival of the second culture, both personally and organizationally bonded to Charter 77. These activites are not perceived only from the cultural history perspective, but more importantly with the help of andragogy and learning society concept. The thesis deals with the topic "Training and development of teaching staff in the organization of merged kindergartens". The aim of the thesis is to identify and analyze the educational needs of teaching staff in kindergartens in the context of their further education and to propose a concept of further education of teaching staff of the organization. This thesis focuses on scout education and its benefits for adult scout leaders. In the theoretical part, the theoretical basis is first mentioned, focusing on the concept of lifelong learning, the inclusion of scout education in this concept and the motivation for adult education. Next, the characteristics and the history of world and czech scouting are described, followed by the principles of scouting, age categories and the scout educational method, which introduce the way of educational work in czech scout. This thesis deals with the current issue of strengthening and creating a competency model for private language teachers. At the present time, it is a very frequently discussed topic in the teacher community, especially given that the requirements for the profession are not specifically defined. Therefore, foreign language teachers often shape their own perception of necessary qualifications of a private language teacher. The aim of this thesis is to develop a competency model of an ideal language teacher based on the subjective opinions of the teachers themselves and language learners and to raise awareness of the requirements for the profession. The theoretical part first describes the position of language education in the context of lifelong learning, then it deals with the issue of competencies with a focus on the language teacher and last but not least it revolves around the language learner.
