Proposal for Improving the System of Reward and Motivation of Employees
Jiráková, Hana ; Kubánek, Radovan (referee) ; Zich, Robert (advisor)
This thesis deals with a system of remuneration and motivation of workers in a particular company. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge associated with the topic. The second part is focused on a specific company. Here we focus in detail on reward and motivate employees. Based on the data I suggest ideas to improve this system in a company. The new pay system aims to increase output and employment eligibility of workers.
Flow, chemical and isotopic composition of water in unsaturated zone of the castellated sandstone at Klokočské skály area
Mikuš, Petr ; Bruthans, Jiří (advisor) ; Jiráková, Hana (referee)
The study is focused on character of flow, permeability, mean residence of water, chemical composition of water and chemical fluxes in unsaturated zone of castellated sandstone at Klokočské Skály area. Soil water as well as the water seeping from up to 15 m thick sandstone unsaturated zone consists of mixture of: A) Component with mean residence time 2-4 months (50-75% of mixture) and B) Component with mean residence time exceeding 4 years (25-50% of mixture). In winter the component A is missing in K3 drip place probably because of freezing conditions, which prevent infiltration of the fast component. Sulfates are the most abundant anion in studied waters with chemical flux in sandstone unsaturated zone (SUZ) 7-10 g/m2/year, which exceeds several times the influx from total (wet and dry) atmospheric deposition (1.2 g/m2/year). On the other hand nitrates flux is decreasing with depth (atmospheric deposition 1.7 g/m2/year; flux in SUZ 0.2-0.4 g/m2/year). Aluminum is the most abundant cation in SUZ (average concentration 6.3 mg/l, max. 35 mg/l). Flux of aluminum in SUZ is 2.5 g/m2/year, which is 80 times more that atmospheric deposition. Surprisingly the forest vegetation does not seem to suffer any directly visible damage. Silica is another substance which is intensively leached from SUZ. The most prominent...
Isotope hydrogeology and geothermal applications to clarify the origin, the sustainability and the character of groundwater flow: Bohemian and Aquitaine sedimentary basins
Jiráková, Hana ; Hrkal, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Rapantová, Naďa (referee) ; Michelot, Jean-Luc (referee)
Isotopic investigations combined with geothermal applications represent powerful tools for the exploration of groundwater potential as a drinking or geothermal resource. This Ph.D. Thesis combines both approaches, environmental and radioactive isotopes together with temperature data in deep aquifers, in order to enrich and update the knowledge concerning the aquifer recharge processes in the Aquitaine Basin (France) and the aquifer recharge processes and geothermal potential in the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin (Czech Republic). Stable isotopes (18 O, 2 H, 13 C) combined with radioisotope data (14 C, 3 H) are used to estimate the recharge timing and climatic conditions prevailing during the infiltration from the Late Pleistocene up to modern time. The character of groundwater recharge and regime are necessary to generate relevant source data for the accurate modelling of complex groundwater systems. Three groups of groundwater recharge types can be distinguished throughout Europe - (i) continuous recharge and (ii) interrupted recharge during Last Glacial Maximum and (iii) a group corresponding to particular recharge conditions. The contrasted geographic and climate conditions at both study sites in France and the Czech Republic have entailed a great heterogeneity of the recharge conditions and...
Venetian influances on the Boccaccio Boccaccino's work
Jiráková, Hana ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Konečný, Lubomír (referee)
(in English) The key theme of my thesis are venetian influences on the Boccaccio Boccaccino's work, who was one of the most important exponents of the Cremonese school of painters. Initially he worked in Genoa, Cremona and Milan and he was influenced by the painters as Leonardo, Bramantino and Boltraffio. In the years 1497-1500 Boccaccino is documented in Ferrara. In this period he executed so-called tondo Gronau, The Christ on the way to Calvary, The Virgin and Child, now in Boston, The Virgin and Child, now in Padua, The Adoration of the Shepherds, now in Naples and Dead Christ supported by an Angel. This works show the influence of Bramantino, umbrian school but also early influence of venetian art. In 1500 or 1501 he painted the altarpiece with Virgin and Child with Sts Peter, Michael, John the Baptist and John the Evangelist for the church of S. Giuliano in Venice. Models of this composition are the S. Cassiano altarpiece of Antonello da Messina and Virgin and Child with Saints which Giovanni Bellini executed for the church of S. Giobbe. Boccaccino's image in S.Giuliano is also inspired by Ercole de'Roberti and Lorenzo Costa. His colours show the influence of Giorgione. In 1506 is Boccaccino documented in Venice but also in Cremona. In the years 1500-1506 he stayed probably in Venice, but he...
Testování antifungální aktivity obalových materiálů s rostlinnými extrakty
Jiráková, Hana
This diploma thesis deals with testing of antifungal activity of packaging materials with plant extracts. First part is a literature review, consisting of three chapters. First chapter contains basic characteristics of filamentous fungi and their metabolic products. Second chapter describes properties of packaging materials used in the food industry with a focus on active packaging. Last chapter of the literature review discusses the essential oils of plants. There are described the properties of essential oils, chemical composition and samples of plants from which the essential oils are most often obtained. The practical part of this thesis deals with the microbiological analysis of selected food stored in the packaging with active foil. This foil was enriched by spray with a mixture of plant extracts. The aim of this experimental determination was to find out if the active foil has an antifungal impact. Tested microorganism was Penicillium chrysogenum.

State-of-the-art and perspectives of geothermal energy utilization in Iceland
Pantůčková, Klára ; Dědeček, Petr (advisor) ; Jiráková, Hana (referee)
This thesis focuses mainly on the Iceland area and deals with the geographical and geological conditions within the context of geothermal energy. The thesis also focuses on history of Iceland, past and current utilization, tries to summarize basic types of acquisition and evaluates advantages and disadvantages of geothermal energy. The end of the thesis focuses on the latest projects, which interfere in the nearest future. Especially, the thesis is concerned with the IDDP project, which aims to drill into unknown conditions close to the magma chamber.
