Main goal of this bachelor thesis was the design of indoor worm compost. The thesis consists of two main parts, theoretical one, which is focused on waste as such, waste sorting and handling. The theoretical part also looks into composting theory, which includes for example process and conditions of composting, kinds of composting and the use of the final product. It also introduces the issues of worm composting. It explains its course and points out possible troubles. The second part of the thesis is practical one. It contains a research of the market for given products, but the main part is the design process from the first ideas to the final product.
