Metaphor in Supervision
Vávrová, Lenka ; Havrdová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Valenta, Milan (referee)
The thesis on Metaphor in supervision is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part deals with metaphor in the linguistic level, its semantic level and then the use of metaphor in supervision. As it turns out, metaphor is often conceived as a phenomenon, as an image, or as a grasp of a person's intrapsychic processes. Metaphor itself is often described by metaphor and we can easily get into a vicious spiral. It is the theoretical part of the thesis that takes us out of this spiral, capturing and anchoring the abstraction of metaphor in the real world. The exploration of metaphor has taken the form of a qualitative research methodology, specifically using IPA. The research investigation involved 11 research participants who were purposively selected based on criterion sampling. The research strategy included the necessary self-reflection by the researcher and in the initial stage of working with the data through deconstruction of the text. In the data analysis we can find first the pre-research and then the actual codification associated with direct quotations. This is first sorted into a clear table for better orientation. The discussion then focuses on answering the main research aim that was met and the research questions. These are answered in the form of a kind of sub-chapter when we...

The epistemological-methodological approach is the practice research. In the thesis a mixed study with a qualitative and then a quantitative part was used. The qualitative part used content analysis of data obtained from two focus groups, and these results were subsequently used to refine the original version of the questionnaire, which was then distributed electronically. The data from both researches were used to formulate a practical recommendation for supervisors, how they can contribute to the successful course of videosupervision using the support factors perceived by the supervisees as necessary. The results are...

The Managment of Change at High Schools Teaching Vocational College Subjects.
Kosová, Zdenka ; Vrzáček, Petr (advisor) ; Havrdová, Zuzana (referee)
The theoretical section of this study seeks to describe the management of change at high schools teaching vocational-college subjects. In this section I also describe the demographic, economic and social influences involved, and the projection of changes in society into the running of the schools. Innovations in education also lead to change in personnel work, where I consider the motivation of workers, remuneration, social status, stress but also burnout syndrome. The practical section is devoted to the strategic management of change in the area of recruitment of apprentice, and here I base my conclusions on quantitative research that I myself carried out. In qualitative research I identified the overall structure of the intake of pupils at high school and the demands on the teacher arising from it. Since the research showed that there were increasing demands on the teacher to employ an individual approach to students, I propose ways in which teachers can meet and cope with these raised demands.
