Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

The bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. between the years 2017 and 2021 and proposals for its improvement. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The first part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the theoretical starting points that are necessary for financial analysis. The second part provides basic information about ŠKODA AUTO a.s. and contains an analysis of the financial situation, which is carried out with the help of the application of the methods mentioned in the theoretical part. The last part contains suggestions for improving the company's financial situation, based on the results presented in the second part of the thesis.

This work was created as a part of a bachelor's practice, which was completed at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Part of the work is also a theoretical part, where the general issue is discussed. Methods: All of the methods used in the therapy are based on a bachelor's degree in FTVS. Předkládaná metodika je výsledkem aplikovaného výzkumu a je zaměřena na ekonomiku památek, resp. nemovitých objektů prohlášených kulturními památkami České republiky. Jejím cílem je vytvoření pasportů ekonomických hodnot pro jednotlivé památkové objekty, v případě využití metodiky orgány veřejné správy i pro soubory památek určitého druhu či soubory památek na vymezeném území.

The impact of marketing strategies on film viewer’s decision

The aim of this bachelor theses is to find out the most effective film marketing tools. Is it a movie poster that affects the decisions of the young generation when choosing a movie? In the empirical part, the thesis will deal with the general possibilities of marketing tools applicable to the film industry. The practical part will be based on a questionnaire survey which will be based on an interview with a film marketing expert.
Specifics of the management of creative workers: Animation studio Wil Film case study

The aim of this thesis was to, through the thematic analysis, explore which factors influence management of creative workers and how they affect management and organization of the creative firm - CGI studio Wil Film. In conclusion, this thesis has found out that main factors are: rapid growth and transformation of the firm into more permanent form, power of informal organizations and creative work itself. In respons to the negative effects of these factors on creative workers, management established a new postion of HR manager who is carrying out several practices to reduce the negative effects. Training, personal and professional development and retention practices helped to balance Wil Film and positively contributed to firms prosperity. These practices are in contrast with literarture that assumes that HR practices make no sense in the creative industries.
Motivation of the patrons of arts

The Master's Thesis deals with the motivation of art patrons, with a special emphasis on contemporary patrons promoting art and culture in the Czech environment. The theoretical part focuses on defining the basic terminology and presents selected studies of volunteering and donation in the non-profit sector with a special focus on culture. The current status in this field is described from the general economic aspects of the support of arts in the Czech Republic to the psychological aspects of individuals. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the patronage of art and introduces the most important patrons of art, considering the historical context and development of the patronage in the history of Czech art. The practical part is based on the media analysis and the interview analysis and the resulting summary of the motivation of the patrons of art.
Market of Physical Media in the Field of Film and Music

The bachelor thesis is devided into two parts, a teoretical one and a practical one. One chapter of the teoretical part deals with the development of physical media in the field of film and music with an overlap to online distribution and the current state of the physical media market. Another chapter of the thesis is devoted to legislation in this field. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the influence of corporations on the market with physical media and marketing strategies. The main content of the practical part is quantitative research, which identifies patterns of behaviour in purchasing physical media today. The information obtained is interpreted in the form of graphs with the comprehensive description. The outcome of the research is a definition of a typical customer who, based on the answers I get, most often purchases physical media.

Bachelor thesis Short film and its distribution explores the phenomenon of the short film and its possible spread. Thesis deals with the definition of short film and film distribution. By using the interviews will be held to analyze the possibilities of distribution of short films. Based on these interviews, the reader will be able to get a rough idea of how one can currently run film distribution of this type of film.
Signal Festival, its presentation and medialization

The present bachelor thesis is focused on the presentation and medialization of the light festival entitled Signal Festival. It analyzes and compares the medialization of all four editions of the festival, which were held between the years 2013 and 2016. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on methods used in media research. It also deals with the transformation of a cultural event into media event and specifically factors influencing this transformation. The practical part provides a quantitative analysis of media outputs during each of the editions of the festival, based on individual media outputs recorded in the media database Anopress. The thesis finishes with an evaluation of the efficiency of communication between the festival and media organizations.
Digitization of film material in the context of film archives

The thesis is devoted to the topic of film material archiving, digitization, digital restoration and possibilities of preserving a digital copy of the film. In the theoretical part, the reader will be introduced to the basic concepts related to topic of film material preservation and digitization. The digitization process will be explained both in theory and on practical examples from digitization of film Old Czech Legends. Based on the theoretical knowledge from the first part, the situation regarding digitization of film material in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic will be discussed in the practical part. This thesis aims to find the fundamental differences in film material digitization approaches in these two countries.
