Content analysis of Teachers' newspaper: View of parents in education
Nerad, Jáchym ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Gargulák, Karel (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on different views of parents' role in education. It draws on the previous research of parents' involvement in education and develops the research further through an analysis of a specialized periodical. More specifically, it focuses on how the authors of Teachers' Newspaper perceived the parents' role between 2003-2013. To achieve this objective, it adopts the method of frame analysis which examines highlighting of various aspects of observed reality in texts. In this case, the frame analysis of Teachers' Newspaper explores different aspects of authors' experience with parents made salient in their texts. The frame analysis uses the concepts of parents' role in education as frames and examines presence of such framing in the texts. The frame analysis was enhanced by the identification of recurring themes the authors attributed to parents. The identified themes were used to describe different types of framing. The analysis discovered framing of parents as educational partners, customers, problems and social partners. The analysis did not, however, reveal any presence of framing parents as citizens. On the other hand, the analysis showed presence of other, previously undefined frames. These are parents as determinants, engagement targets, and debate participants.

Then I will analyse how the apprentice education is presented in major newspaper media. Chosen method of analysing is frame analysis with which one I will be able to qualitatively examine the content of the media image. I will find out context, coherence, impression and results of those articles. Main purpose is an identification of frameworks occurring in the given issue and their sponsors. I will also find out main problems of each framework, their causes and suggested or implied solving of problems in apprentice education.
The Coordinator of Inclusive Education at Primary School
Stodola, Marek ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Gargulák, Karel (referee)
The following bachelor thesis deals with a topic of the coordinators of inclusive education at primary schools. The coordinator of inclusion is a specialized member of school's staff whose duties are to help the school to cope with the inclusive education successfully. The position of the coordinator assumes that teachers and other school's staff do not know how to deal with educational inclusive elements they are supposed to follow and carry out. The coordinators might help the school to establish a pro-inclusive environment where all the actors know how to educate the children with the special educational needs. The coordinator of inclusion is not legislatively enshrined so the school has to decide whether the position of the coordinator will be established there. The thesis uses the semi-structured interviews with a member of the teaching staff, with a school principal or his/her deputy head, and with the coordinator. The interviews will be analysed using the thematic analysis. I will focus on describing the particular duties of the coordinators, then on the perceptions of the teachers and principals to the coordinators and their mutual interactions. The analysis will be also focused on the potential problems and limitations of the coordinator's job. The results of this thesis show that there...
