RESTful API Design Methodology

The subject of this thesis is RESTful API Design methodology. RESTful API is currently very popular type of API, but there is missing comprehensive guide how to create it. The target of this thesis is to design methodology of design RESTful API which fulfills all REST and Resource-oriented architecture principles defined by Fielding, Richardson and Ruby. The focus of the methodology is only on analysis and design of API. The first part is about description of RESTful API current situation, mainly focusing on principles and approaches how to fulfill them. The second part of this thesis consists description of created methodology, which was created by consolidation of finding in the first part, to create design of RESTful API. This methodology was verified on a real project and the results are described in the last part of this thesis.
Classification of IoT

This bachelor thesis is focused on classification of IoT. The aim of this thesis is classifying and categorizing IoT using systematic literature review. Several steps are needed to fulfill this aim. First part of this thesis focuses on defining IoT. Top ten companies, which invest the most to IoT are introduced with their view on IoT. Then follows characterization of classification and categorization including differences between them. Second part focuses on describing SLR. First of all the process of searching studies was described in detail. Also it was necessary to set the criteria to accept or reject studies. Then the rest of the studies were rated based on qualitative criteria. Studies rated as very good or excellent were accepted and final classification and categorization were made from them.
Mobile Web Accessibility of the Public Administration Institutions

When we are creating web pages it is important to think about accessibility. It does not matter if it is for normal user or user whose is using assistive technology. Especially if we are talking about public sector web sites which provide important information and have idea of accessibility stated in the public notice. The aim of this thesis is to check if nowadays practices accept idea of one web and its accessibility. Check will be aim on the services and information provided by Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic. Procedure stating the idea of accessibility is 7 years old but technology is still improving. Because of that it is really important to find out how current practices accept idea of one site and its accessibility. Finding will be aimed at services and information provided by Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic and their institutions. Testing of accessibility proceeds in two areas. In first area are selected pages tested for fulfilling the criteria stated in the public notice. In second area they are tested for complying the criteria which takes into consideration improvement of technology. Next is tested compliance with idea of one web site. All hypotheses are not met. Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic and its institutions web sites comply only with hypotheses of one site but they do not comply with hypotheses of accessibility. Main finding is that Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic and their institutions web sites does not comply with hypotheses of accessibility. It can lead to the worse usage of its web sites.
IT support of House Unit owners association

In this bachelor thesis I will solve the area of IT support of House Unit Owners Association. The goal of this thesis is analysis of processes of the association that results from the needs of the association or prescribed legislation and the following identification of the IT tool market that should help with solving processes efficiently. At the beginning of the thesis I will define a specific owners association which I chose for the process analysis and application of the final solution. I will find out required process-es from the law and from meetings with representatives of this association. Then I will work out processes using the MMABP method and will mention their information requirements. Results of the thesis should be an instruction manual for the chosen specific association what steps to take to improve the processes and eventual implementation of the IT support. The results can be also used as generic template for similar-sized House Unit Owners Association.
IT support of online magazine editorial staff and office

This Bachelor Thesis describes the IT support of editorial staff and office. My goals is to identify whole portfolio of application and also identify the state of actual market in this branch. In the first step is defined the whole enviroment of editorial branch with all need for complex functionality. Then is whole enviroment with all processes analyzed according to the MMABP. Then I get different views to IT needs of editorial using MMDIS methodology and the last part of my work focuses on surveying the state of current IT market of complex and separate modules of business systems satisfying needs of this kind of business. The last step is market research in branch of applications needed for such a surrounding and comparing to editorial which was presented. The result of this work will help with setting up new editorials and choosing whole IT support or streamline already existing office. Furthermore, my findings may interest developers, who could use the information in order to develop new or improve the current software editorial staff uses.
Collaboration/cooperation support in Office 365 Enterprise E3

The goal of this work is to analyze whether Office 365 Enterprise E3 supports collaboration/cooperation and its management. This goal is achieved in several interconnected steps. The first chapter of this work introduces the topic of collaboration/cooperation and presents the reader with relevant sources which deal with this topic. Integral part of the first chapter is also a brief introduction of the environment Office 365 Enterprise E3. The next chapter examines in detail the collaboration/cooperation process, its components, and their characteristics. Afterwards collaboration/cooperation is studied in the context of information technologies. This chapter explains how IT resources support the process of collaboration/cooperation and what requirements they must satisfy. The goal of this work is to describe in what way Office 365 Enterprise E3 meets these requirements and evaluate to what extent is satisfies them. For this reason, is the compliance with these requirements evaluated quantitatively on simple nominal scale. This evaluation is supplemented with qualitative evaluation based on author´s practical experience with this environment. The result of this work is the degree to what extent this environment supports collaboration/cooperation and its management. This work could be beneficial to managers and supervisors in organizations with any specialization and size, who are looking for suitable means to effectively support collaboration/cooperation within their organizations through information technologies. This work explains the topic of collaboration/cooperation and represents a brief introduction to Office 365 Enterprise E3.
Portfolio of IT Services in Startup

Goal of this thesis is identification of IT services structure and content inside startups. It defines basic terms and functionalities of examined subject and reflects influence of business incubators on composition of IT services portfolio. Goal is achieved by two accesses to solution, which complement each other. Firstly, there is summary of information from literature and internet resources, which make basis for practical research. It had form of interview with 5 randomly chosen startup representatives. Some of them were during research in incubation process, some of them after it and some of them have never attended in such a process. The contribution of this thesis is that it shows common elements of IT services portfolio in different startups, based on data from praxis, which I could not find in any other literature. Thesis is structured in to couple of logically connected parts. First of them is called 'Startup'. There is defined this, in literature not very commonly used, term. It show lifecycle of startup, its legal form etc. Next chapter, "business incubators" shows institutions, which actively helps to found new startups. In this chapter, there are defined activities, which occurs inside the incubator and relation between incubator and startup. Third chapter is about IT services. There is specified what is their contents and what does their categorization look like. Based on first three chapters was formed methodology, which were used during research in each startup. In a last chapter, there is compered influence of incubator on IT services portfolio and announced results of research.
IT support for activities at Mountain Rescue Service station

This Bachelor thesis deals with IT support for Mountain Rescue Service station. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to identify current situation of key activities performed by employees of Mountain Rescue Service in station in Pec pod Sněžkou and supported by IT Application portfolio. First step for writing this Bachelor thesis was definition and characterization of the Mountain Rescue Service with relations to neighbourhood included. Afterwards there is described method which identify key activities performed by employees and its situation of IT support in Application portfolio. The last part represents results of evaluation of the process which was described in previous chapter.
Marketing communication of travel agencies on the social media environment

The following master thesis is focused on the issue of marketing communication of travel agencies on the social media environment. It maps the current involvement of five selected social media to the promotion of the seven most important travel agencies in the Czech Republic. The author compares the real state of communication to social media with his own exploration of travel agent preferences. The comparison is based on a series of recommendations for the marketing communication of travel agencies on social media at the end of the work.
Use of social networks to support the web portal

This diploma thesis deals with the use of social networks for business support. Its main focus lies in designing a strategy for working with Facebook's social network of Coffee Media s.r.o. The first part of this work summarizes general theoretical knowledge from the field of social networks and competitive intelligence. The individual concepts are explained and the area that the thesis deals with is determined. The second part of this work consists of the proposal of the web solution of Coffee Media. The first is the comparison of individual web site creation options, the key factors and creative requirements are determined, according to which the most suitable solution is then selected. With this solution, websites are subsequently designed and implemented. The third part deals with a detailed analysis of competition in the field of online marketing. Four competing companies are selected and their work with the Facebook social network is analysed. The analysis is carried out using both a customized method and a free specialized tool. Based on this analysis, individual trends in Facebook social networking are determined. The last part proposes detailed strategy for working with the Facebook social network. In this strategy, a publishing plan for contributions is designed and individual advertising campaigns are designed to promote Coffee Media.
