Personal diagnostics-measurement methods of current and perspective staffs

The dissertation is focused on personnel diagnostics. It understands it as an instrument, which helps the company to choose the best employees, to compare an actual profile of personality of a candidate or an employee with an ideal profile of position, which is needed to fill, and to assess the potential of employees. It concentrates on methods of personnel diagnostics. It uses the classification of psychodiagnostic methods after Mojmír Svoboda. It describes two of three groups of diagnostic methods, which can be used in human resources management. They are clinical methods and testing. There are characteristics of all subsets of this classification. There are described other methods, which are used in HR management most frequently. The intention of the dissertation is to find and describe the diagnostic methods, which can be used in practice by personnel clerks without university degree in psychology or without practice. For these purposes there are described methods like interview, Thematic Apperception Cards after Evangelu, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and technique of Pack of Personnel Cards after Evangelu. The influence of interculturality in communication of employees in organization

The work deals with the cultures and its impact on communication of the organization. It focuses on the influence of cultural background and personality related to the specifics of communication between workers and managers communicate with employees. Attention is focused on the differences in the behavior of workers from different cultural environment, the importance of specific knowledge of other cultures to overcome differences and optimal cooperation in intercultural environments. The issue of interculturality and its impact on communication between workers in an organization is viewed primarily in terms of personnel management and the work also deals with the different approaches to the management of the group of countries.
Connection between education and labour market: with marketing access in conditions of a university

The doctoral thesis "Connection between education and labour market" is a reaction to changes on the national and international market which are also reflected by the changes of the character of work and requirements on labour force. It is the interest of the society and universities to prepare graduates in such educational programmes, whose contents meet the requirements of the labour market. The aim is to have graduates prepared for employment. A precondition on the fulfilment of this task is the cooperation of educational institutions with the labour market and firms. The connection of education and the labour market is also reflected in the documents of The Ministry of Education, which follow up with the policy of development of tertiary education in Europe in the framework of the Bologna process. Marketing access is used as a starting point for investigation of the followed problems at a theoretical level in chapter one. This access includes establishing contacts with the outer environment on the side of inputs and outputs, which enables the connection of educational institutions with the work environment. The use of alternative methods in foreign language teaching

This diploma thesis is concerned with the level of knowledge and use of selected alternative teaching methods - Suggestopedia, Total Physical Response (TPR), Community Language Learning (CLL), The Silent Way and Act&Speak method among the teachers of foreign languages of adults in Prague. For better orientation, it can be divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I focus on the situation of foreign language education and foreign language policy of the European Union and the Czech Republic. Also, I define what is meant by the concepts of didactics of foreign languages and methods of foreign language teaching so that I can describe the traditional foreign language teaching methods (direct methods, indirect methods and eclectic methods) and alternative methods in the other section. In the practical part, I approach with the assumption that the teachers of foreign languages of adults in Prague do not know and do not use the selected alternative methods. These and other hypotheses were verified by a quantitative survey (questionnaire) which also examined whether there is a correlation between the teacher's education, length of the teacher's lecturing practice, a place of carrying out teaching activities and knowledge and using these alternative methods. Training and Development of Employees in the ICT Sector

Training and development of employees is one of the key personnel activities. This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of training and development of employees in the specific environment of information and communication technologies sector. This thesis determines three characteristics of this sector concerning its features and human resources structure, which are set in the context of corporate education. The purpose of the conducted case study is to examine the influence of three chosen characteristics on the form of training and development of employees in this sector. The most important conclusion is identified as the growing importance of soft skills of technology-oriented professionals. Another important outcome of the case study is the tendency of companies to focus on training and development of young talented employees. The emphasis is put especially on organization of pre-gradual education within the company and the career management of selected employees. Comparison of the Impact of Job Enrichment on the Work Motivation of Workers Depending on the Level of Their Education

In my diploma thesis I describe problems of the job enrichment considering the impact of job enrichment and its factors on the work motivation of workers depending on the level of their education. I present attitudes to job enrichment and I explain the psychological background of the job enrichment. I introduce the basics motivation theories, which impact the job enrichment attitudes. Based on the research survey madden, I analyze and compare the impact of job enrichment and its factors on the work motivation of workers depending on the level of their education. The objective of this work is to supplement existing knowledge of the relation between the job enrichment and the work motivation of workers depending on the level of their education. The Influence of the Internet on Education

This work concentrates on the changes that the Internet has caused in education since its invention to the present day and predicts possible future development of the Internet use in education. It focuses on the learning needs of people in the information society and the role of adult educators in bridging the digital divide. The work further deals with changes in several cognitive functions, which are directly related to education. Special attention is given to a new theory of networked learning, connectivism, and specific ways of learning on the internet. Personal learning environments, massive open online courses, open educational resources and the concept of school 2.0 are critically viewed. The well-known web applications and tools suitable for use in teaching are briefly introduced.
Evaluation of implementation webinars to further teachers education in Liberec region

The work deals with the issues of webinar organizing and synchronous online learning in a virtual classroom. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part particularly pays attention to ICT and e-learning in the area of adult education and to modern trends in online communication and cooperation. The practical part is focused on the area of synchronous live learning in a virtual classroom and it evaluates the supply situation and the use of webinars in the Czech republic. The practical part also presents author's survey among the teachers in Liberec region. Lastly, it provides the webinar case study and subsequently it discusses and evaluates its progress. The diploma thesis responds to innovation in ICT and contributes to current development and the use of webinars in adult education.
Workers's adaptation in a small organization

Dissertation deals with an analysis of an adaptation process in a small organization. It handles placing of the adaptation process into a context of human resources activities. Individual areas of the adaptation are specified - working adaptation, social adaptation and adaptation to a company culture. Also aims of the adaptation, factors influencing the process of adaptation in the company, planning and management of the adaptation are specified. The process of adaptation, elements and tools used during creation of the adaptation process are described. The dissertation includes the survey analyzing the process of adaptation in small organizations and describes the specifics identified.
Personnel marketing - Personnel marketing focused on university students and graduates

The character of activities of human resource management is in today's world wider and wider, to be a good employer is not enough, it is needed to communicate this message through various channels and grip potential employees, current employees and also the public. On the basis of analyzis of available sources, the thesis summarizes and completes current knowledge in the area of personnel marketing and employer branding, and proves the importance of personnel marketing in the discipline of human resource management. The theoretical part at first concentrates on the general area of personnel marketing, later it covers specific activities of personnel marketing focused on the target group of university students and graduates. The practical part of the thesis describes the approach of a specific organization and activities of that organization focused on the target group of university students and graduates. Later the practical part describes a project of building university relations in which I took a part, the results of this project, and evaluation of the impact of the results. In the end the thesis compares the activities of this organization with prevalent praxis and answers a question if the success of personnel marketing is based rather on quantitative or qualitative approach.
