Steel structure of viewing tower
Doležal, Tomáš ; Röder, Václav (referee) ; Hron, Lukáš (advisor)
Aim of the bachelor thesis is to create proposal and static assessment of supporting steel structure of 24 meters high viewing tower based on original architectonic proposals. Climatic load (wind, snow, icing) is determined for expected allocation of viewing tower - Plzeň. The thesis consists of technical report with assembling solution, static report of main supporting parts and chosen connections and drawing documentation. Computational model for evaluation of internal forces is realized in SCIA Engineer 2011 software. Static report is created manually according to valid European standards.
Radar sensors for speed measurements
Doležal, Tomáš ; PhD, Jaroslav Čechák, (referee) ; Kokolia, Martin (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis is selecting a suitable microwave sensor for measuring the speed of vehicles in regular traffic, while covering multiple road lanes by a suitable method. Furthermore, the optimal one is selected in the form of search, based on the necessary parameters from commercially available radar sensors measuring primary speed. In the next step, simulation is performed for the selected speed sensor in the MATLAB environment, depending on its parameters and the modes in which it can work. The simulation also includes environmental influences on the received signal. There is introduced programmed graphical user interface for simulating a lot of situations on the road for two cars in the next section. Last section summarizes results of real measurement.
Casted Formula Student Upright
Doležal, Tomáš ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with a design of casted upright for Formula Student vehicle Dragon X. Casting method used for the purpose of this thesis was selected by review of relevant scientific literature. The upright was then structurally designed and strength calculations were made. Main criterion of the design is minimum compliance with meeting the required weight. Final design is compared with the design of the previous generation of vehicle.
Design of steel-concrete composite structure of road bridge in Trenčín
Doležal, Tomáš ; Marván, David (referee) ; Nečesal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of diploma thesis was to design alternative of composite road bridge in Trenčín. The bridge beam is designed as continuous with theoretical span of 65 m + 106 m + 65 m. Permanent load, climatic load (uniform and nonuniform temperature variation, windload), shrinkage, differential settlement and traffic load were taken into consideration according to Eurocodes. Technical report, static report, drawings, bill of quantities are included. Computational model for evaluation of internal forces was carried out in SCIA Engineer software.
IS for CMR
Doležal, Tomáš ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Holek, Radovan (advisor)
This dissertation is concerned with design and elaboration of MySQL database using PHP5 programming language. Goal of this work is customer support IS. To achieve it's goal uses Symfony PHP framework. E-R diagrams, dataflow diagrams as well as processes for each role are presented for this information system. Dissertation is also concerned with entities life cycles. Whole work results in the working information system, which contains administration and user frontend.
Financial Situation Evaluation in MEDIA AGE s. r. o. and Proposals to its Improvement
Doležal, Tomáš ; Hložánková, Eva (referee) ; Zinecker, Marek (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the financial situation of the MEDIA AGE, s. r. o. company using methods of financial analysis during period 2011-2015. Results of the analysis are used as a starting-point for recommendations how to improve strengths and eliminate weaknesses of the company financial management.
Development of Competitiveness of Company
Doležal, Tomáš ; Mečíř, Lukáš (referee) ; Zich, Robert (advisor)
The content of this master’s thesis deals with competitiveness of the accommodation establishment „Jacob Brno“ through its brand. The current situation of the company is dismantled according to theoretical knowledge. Based on the value chain theory, the value creation process for the customer is further dismantled and compared to competing company. According to the variety of analyses, it is proposed to extend the supply of the accommodation establishment to ancillary services. This includes services such as a conference facility or an improved way to accommodate guests.
Innovation Marketing Strategy of Selected Sporting Events
Zezula, Vojtěch ; Doležal, Tomáš (referee) ; Kysel, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design modernisation of marketing strategy which will be done by using data from previous Taekwon-Do ITF league. Introductory and theoretical part of the thesis clarifies terms necessary for second analythical part of the thesis. First part explains terms such as marketing and marketing strategy, following practical part consists of an analysis of previous Taekwon-Do ITF league. Results gained from such analysis constitues a basis for inovation of marketing startegy of the event.
Object shape reconstruction based on the max(t,0)-pulse response
Doležal, Tomáš ; Dědková, Jarmila (referee) ; Štumpf, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a spatial imaging of targets using time-domain radar responses on the max(t,0) pulse. The problem is formulated for both perfectly electrically conductive and dielectric objects. The main aim of the thesis includes a code implementation calculating the profile functions of an unknown object from the mentioned time responses and a code for the subsequent reconstruction of an object in the MATLAB environment. A graphical user interface was created for testing purposes. The 3D probability function technique was used for the final reconstruction. The implemented technique achieves interesting results, which are presented in the final part of this thesis.
Fluctuations in the groundwater level in the montane peat bog Rokytka
Lencová, Kateřina ; Šobr, Miroslav (advisor) ; Doležal, Tomáš (referee)
Peatbogs are globally widespread ecosystems that have a major influence on the hydrological conditions of watersheds. Of particular importance are mountain highlands, which are characterized by their occurrence in the source areas of streams. Despite the indisputable importance of the montane peatbogs in terms of runoff conditions, their influence has not yet been conclusively clarified. Montane peatbogs are a particularly important topic for the Šumava region, where they represent a fundamental element of the landscape. The study site is therefore situated in one of the Šumava's spring areas - the Rokytka watershed. As part of this thesis, the issue of the hydrological function of the monitored peatbog has been viewed mainly through the differences in the fluctuation of the groundwater level in different parts of the peatbog. At the same time, the influence of the precipitation on the change in the groundwater level in the peatbogs and on the runoff response of the Rokytka brook has been monitored. Precipitation is the only source of water for the highlands and its influence is therefore crucial. Although several previous studies have focused on the influence of this highland on the runoff conditions of the Rokytka brook, groundwater levels from manually measured probes have not yet been analysed....
