Evaluation of the Corporate Performance
Chochula, Filip ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Pavláková Dočekalová, Marie (advisor)
Bakalárska práca hodnotí výkonnosť podniku centra zdieľaných služieb na základe vybraných skúmaných globálnych trendov relevantných pre dané odvetvie, kľúčových ukazovateľov výkonnosti a metódy Balanced Scorecard, čím správu o výkonnosti podniku rozširuje o nefinančné ukazovatele. V závere uvádza návrhy na zlepšenie, podporujúc budúcu výkonnosť spoločnosti.
Vytvoření funkčního přípravku pro namáhání materiálu v tlaku
DOLEŽAL, Petr
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a fixture for testing material in compres-sion on a universal testing machine. The thesis firstly introduces engineering materials and their key properties, which is closely related to the testing of mechanical proper-ties. Another theoretical part introduces the SHIMADZU AG-50kMX-plus universal testing machine for which the fixture is designed. The modelling of the jig and the creation of drawing documentation was designed in Inventor Professional 2019, which is presented in detail in the theoretical part. After designing, the jig was fabri-cated so that its experimental use could take place. Plastic test samples were tested and printed on the school's Průša MK3S+ 3D printer. The aim of testing them was primarily to determine the functionality of the product.
Protection of Scots pines (Pinus sylvestris L.) against bark beetles in the Czech Republic
Doležal, Petr ; Davídková, Markéta
The report contains practical recommendations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of protective measures against bark beetles on Scots pine in the Czech Republic. It also contains data on species of the genus Orthotomicus, whose practical importance has increased in recent years.
Ecological physiology of the large pine weevil, Hylobius abietis, unknown aspects of the life cycle of a known pest
Doležal, Petr ; Davídková, Markéta
The report summarizes practical recommendations for the control of the large pine weevil based on research into its ecological physiology. In addition to direct measures, it includes an analysis of the presence/absence of natural regeneration of white birch in clearcuts on the damage caused by this pest to conifer seedlings.
Ecophysiology of the most important bark beetles on Scots pine in the Czech Republic
Doležal, Petr ; Davídková, Markéta ; Hlávková, Daniela
The report summarizes information on overwintering, fecundity, flight activity and developmental rate of bark beetles infesting Scots pines in Central Bohemia, Vysočina and South Moravia. The occurrence of pseudogamous reproduction in the sharp-dentated bark beetle, Ips acuminatus, was studied in detail.
Developmental rate, fecundity and lifespan of the large pine weevil, Hylobius abietis, on different species of host trees
Doležal, Petr ; Davídková, Markéta
The report summarizes results of the five years lasting experiment on the developmental rate, fecundity and lifespan of the large pine weevils, which developed and have been fed with various conifer species.
Comparison of Genetic Programming Variants in the Symbolic Regression Task
Doležal, Petr ; Hurta, Martin (referee) ; Drahošová, Michaela (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of genetic programming variants it the task of symbolic regression. Time to converge and quality of evolved solutions are evaluated on nine chosen benchmarks. In particular, tree-based genetic programming, cartesian genetic programming and their modifications using coevolutionary algorithm are investigated. An own implementation of employed methods (without a specific library use) allows to share as much code as possible. Moreover, an analysis of implemented methods efficiency on real world data is provided. Experimental results show that all of the investigated approaches are capable of finding solutions using symbolic regression. Cartesian genetic programming enhanced with coevolution seems to be the most suitable of the investigated approaches in terms of evolved solution quality and time to converge.
Reverse parallel configuration manager
Doležal, Petr ; Yaghob, Jakub (advisor) ; Adámek, Jiří (referee)
Existing tools for build and configuration management of software projects often suffer from various drawbacks, the typical problems include, for example, a complicated notation of a project's configuration or difficulties with the portability of a configuration description between various platforms. This work analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the approaches used by existing implementations and it proposes the solution that is based on merging the well-established and interesting ideas of various existing solutions. An important part of the work is the implementation of a fully functional program according to the proposed design, which allows to test the solution in practice. The goal of the implementation is to avoid the disadvantages of existing similar programs while keeping their advantages.
Structural changes in intermetallic compounds
Doležal, Petr ; Prchal, Jiří (advisor) ; Daniš, Stanislav (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the study of the structural phase transitions in intermetallic compounds LaPd2(Al,Ga)2 by low-temperature x-ray powder diffraction and macroscopic measurements on single crystals. The results obtained from powder diffraction at room temperature confirm that the compounds crystallize in tetragonal CaBe2Ge2 structure type (space group P4/nmm). At low temperature all the compounds undergo the same structural phase transition by lowering the symmetry to the orthorhombic space group Cmma. Although the structural transformation is of first order, the transition is not-manifested in step-like change of the phase at a certain temperature, but occurs in a broader temperature interval. In this interval the different phases coexist and transform gradually from high- to low- temperature phase. After application of hydrostatic pressure the structural transition is shifted to higher temperatures. Despite that the low temperature structures are of the same type, there is a difference between compounds containing Ga and Al in the discontinuity of the lattice parameters resulting in a distinct anomaly in electrical resistivity. In pressures >0.6 GPa this characteristic anomaly on single crystalline CePd2Al2 is changed, indicating a pressure- induced change of the low-temperature...
CeT2Al2 compounds with enhanced electron-phonon interaction - preparation and characterisation of single crystalline samples
Mičková, Zuzana ; Doležal, Petr (advisor) ; Prchal, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is focused on preparation and characterisation of CePd2Al2, which is an intermetallic, incongruently melting compound. Due to its incongruent nature a number of polycrystalline samples was made to find an ideal nominal stoichiometry for a precursor for Czochralski growth of a single crystalline sample. Seven polycrystalline samples of different nominal stoichiometries were prepared in mono- arc furnace and studied via electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and four of the samples also by powder diffraction. The result of analyses showed a presence of a hexagonal phase of stoichiometry 16.6:33.3:50 in multiple of the samples. This phase crystallizes at temperature higher than the rest of the present phases. The hexagonal phase was found to not occur in four of polycrystalline as-cast samples, namely of stoichiometries 22:40.7:37.3, 22:41.1:36.9, 22:41.5:36.5 and 22:42.5:35.5 atomic percent. The most suitable stoichiometry of the precursor for Czochralski growth of single crystalline sample in tri-arc furnace was found to be stoichiometry 22:41.1:36.9.
