the Screeners
Pětiletá, Petra ; Daniel, Ladislav (advisor) ; Valachová, Daniela (referee) ; Malečková, Dita (referee)
8 digitální fyzický Abstract: The thesis offers a phenomenological view of the contemporary hybrid world, consisting of interpenetrating two inseparable spheres: the physical (originally material) world and the digital (virtual world). My work shows how we can think about the world by separating the physical and the digital. In my research, I involved students in the eighth year of high school, aged 12-14, who are referred to as Generation Z or "digital natives". I was interested in how students described these two worlds and how they related to them and their intersection. I first explored the phenomenon of the digital world as part of my own artistic research, looking for themes and aspects to highlight. As part of my early research, I subjected the artistic mind maps to qualitative analysis, but the maps did not lead me to a deeper understanding of the digital-virtual world in the way I would expected. What did emerge, however, was the shape of the students' instru- mental relationship to the digital world through physical space and their own physical bodies. I was also interested in how students used the Internet and social networks, so I wanted to have different view on something that I don't usually learn in the classroom as a teacher. In the main research probe, we explored with the students the...
Selected Art Techniques in Figural Painting
Škábová, Sandra ; Gajdošíková, Pavla (advisor) ; Daniel, Ladislav (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with selected painting approaches in figurative art. The theoretical part describes the basic principles of traditional and digital painting techniques by placing them in a historical context. It compares key craft qualities while highlighting common difficulties in painting. It showcases contemporary painters working within the selected techniques and the figurative subject matter. It analyzes individual approaches to the human figure, ranging from realist painting to distinctive versions of stylization in modern and contemporary art. The subsequent artistic part presents the author's own figurative work in the form of the painting series Siblings, to which she applies the same framework as the theoretical part of the thesis. The attached reflection of the author is interpreted and visualized using the characteristic features of selected artists' works, which exhibit the same aspects of creation as the Siblings. The narrative component of the author's work already resides in the private world of the artist and explores its imprint in the subjects depicted. The results obtained further inspire the didactic part and build the design of the lesson on the foundations stemming from the experiences gained through the painting series. Through the insights gained from the careful...

The theme of the work is normalization art in public space. It characterizes prefab housing as a specific public space and works of art as cultivation tools of this space. It looks for the reasons for the high number of works of art from the normalization period in public space, approximates artistic trends and tendencies in Czechoslovak sculpture from the 1950s to the 1980s, and provides an overview of databases that specialize in the documentation of normalization sculptures. It presents an overview of sculptures on the Prosek quarter, summarizes their current state and characterizes them from various points of view. For the didactic part, he chooses 3 sculptures that represent different tendencies and styles of normalization sculpture. It interprets the sculptures, puts them in the context of the time and the work of their authors. The goal of the work is that students recognize and perceive works of art through various activities, to reflect on them in dialogues (with classmates and the teacher) and in their own creations. Thanks to getting to know and perceiving the works of art in their surroundings, students develop a relationship with artistic creation and the place where they live.

The practical part is focused on the research itself. It presents the aims of the thesis, research questions and research methods. The thesis has two main goals: to analyze the examined documents and find in them the differences in the values represented by them and the goals of the given approaches; implement a project in a kindergarten, which will be further described and reflected on by the method of reflective practice. The conclusion of the practical part is mainly devoted to summarizing the results of the research, from which it is known that small, but still significant differences can be found between the goals of the investigated approaches to handcraft activities in...
