Survey and Diagnostics of Reinforced Concrete Structure

The subject of this master’s thesis is the diagnostic survey of the industry cast-in-place hall. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on available options of diagnostic methods and options of materials evaluation. The practical part contains material assessment of chosen elements of construction. This part of thesis is focused on localizing the position and the diameter of reinforcement in every single element. Next step is focused on the quality of the concrete, particularly compressive strength and modulus of elasticity. The modern machines, like Hilti PS 1000 and Profometer PM-630, are used to localize the position and diameter of reinforcement. The quality of concrete is determined by removed bore core. Evaluation of material characteristics of the structure is in the conclusion.

The Architectural and Engineering Research of the Building Construction

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the diagnostic survey of the industry prefabricated hall. The thesis contains options of reinforced concrete diagnostic. Consequential conclusion judges material characteristics of the beam and roof girder.This thesis is focused on localizing the position and average of reinforcement in every single element. Next step is focused on quality of the concrete, particularly compressive strength and modulus of elasticity. The modern machines, like Hilti PS 1000 and Profometer PM-630, are used to localize the position and diameter of reinforcement. The quality of concrete is determined by removed bore core. TITLE: Václav Cigler and his Pedagogy AUTHOR: Mgr. MgA Jana Šindelová DEPARTMENT: Art Education Department SUPERVISOR: Doc. PhDr. Marie Fulková, Ph.D. This dissertation thesis examines Václav Cigler ́s views on the visual arts through the perception of movement, space and time and attempts to bring his creative thought into conversation with the field of art education. Cigler has anticipated many concepts of nascent contemporary artistic expression (constructive tendencies, minimalism, land art, light and kinetic sculpture). His oeuvre is extraordinary in its constructive sharing of knowledge and modes of critical thought, in its activism and experimentation. The work of Václav Cigler represents five principles: man, space, water, light and glass. Space as a means of communication constitutes the fundamental structuring aspect of Cigler ́s work. The dissertation ́s research focused on the question of whether children can communicate complex issues of contemporary art. Itemploy s Grounded Theory as its methodology, and it describes, analyses and interprets the relationships of codes created through analysis of primary documents of participatory pedagogical action research in Art Education conducted in elementary school. Castellology as a historical-cultural inspiration source in art education

The dissertation thesis "Castellology as a historical-cultural inspiration source in art education", is dedicated to the historical discipline castellology and its developing aspects shared with art education and general education. One of the main parts of the thesis is the finding of historical connections between ancient disciplines and their intentional and functional influences in a social sense. In terms of historiography there are also some articles devoted to selected authors, whose influence was fundamental to both disciplines. The thesis surveys not only a historical point of view, but also the contemporary situation. The empirical part of the thesis is based on the theoretical part. From the information gained in terms of historiography, it was necessary to include research on a teacher's personality. The empirical research surveys the frequency and usage of themes and subjects connected with castellology in the lessons of art education by pedagogues at secondary school level in the context of their personal interest. The investigative and the theoretical parts are dedicated specifically to the Czech environment. In both cases foreign settings are only briefly covered.

"New" role of an object in "object art" and "art of instalation"

Submitted graduation theses offer different views of questions relating to an object (thing) in the "object art". The foundation of the "object art" brought a "new" role of an object. It does mean that the border of an art types are no more close, as well as life and art are now transparent. We can find qualitative changes in a various ways of treatment of an object. I saw these changes in according to four basic criteria: meaning, material, form and function. Another centre line of the text are overlaps of fine art and applied art, which detects common tendences in both spheres.

Exhibit space

This diploma thesis extends the theme of bachelor thesis, in which alternative site specific exhibition spaces, called "independent galleries", in the Czech Republic were observed and described in terms of motivation and the reasons for their establishment. The diploma thesis focuses on the study of specific mainly alternative exhibition possibilities of contemporary art and on a description of the contemporary phenomenon of exhibition space abroad regarding the Czech context. These findings are developing into its own site-specific art activity in public space, which is then transformed in educational structure and implemented with the students of a selected high school in Prague in public spaces around the school. The educational part of the thesis is complemented by a qualitative research, which helped to capture mediation specifics of the topic in the educational process.

Comparison between fine art and musical pieces of composer Luboš Fišer

This diploma thesis deals with comparison of five musical pieces of composer Luboš Fišer with fine arts. The thesis is divided in the two parts. In the first part we analyze general art trends in 1960s. We will make reference to the most important trends and personalities, who composed and painted in that age. We will also compare literature, fine art and music in Czech Republic in 1960s, which were the best years of Fišer's work. The second part of the thesis describes in detail five Fišer's pieces, which were composed in 1960s. These are Ruce - Hands (1961), Patnáct listů podle Dürerovy Apokalypsy - Fifteen Prints After Durer's Apocalypse (1965), Caprichos (1966), Double (1969) and Nářek nad zkázou města Ur - Lament over the Ruined Town of Ur (1970). Analysis of those pieces is based on comparison with inspiration sources (Albrecht Dürer: Apocalypse, Francisco Goya: Caprichos, old Sumer text called Lament over the Ruined Town of Ur) or it is based on comparison of Fišer's composition method with fine art piece (Double) or it is analyzed just from the semantic point of view of the piece (Hands). Goal of this work is to present composition of distinguished Czech composer Luboš Fišer to general public using analysis of his pieces. Boundary and relationship to its surroundings

Linhart, T: The borderline and the relationship to its surroundings. [Diploma thesis] Praha 2015 Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, 71 p. (Attachments on CD: 2 illustration attachments). The diploma thesis features a theoretical study on the background of the author's own artwork. The text interprets the borderline as a horizon that would emerge and vanish. It presents the author's own artistic grasp of the theme in context of selected trends in fine arts. Author seeks to define the boundary of fine arts and art education to establish a foundation to his own pedagogic determination. He shows what theoretical frameworks take part on shaping his own professional direction. The didactic part looks at select situations from the author's teaching practice that already took place and reflects them in context of author's other pedagogic experience. The accomplishment and utility of the work lie in a description and interpretation of select situations from practice of a fledgling teacher and an educational complex, field tested, intended for gymnasium students.

It is analyzing differencies in the understanding of the environmental art term, and its historical bases. The thesis is comparing two different cultures - finish and czech, concerning its way of using the term. The comparison show the problematic issue of the czech prehension of the environmental art term. Didactic section presents a project of the mountain leasure time centre focused on the ecological education through the art activities in the nature.
