Strategy of the tourism development in Brno with the focus on Brno - city of students

The diploma thesis deals with the tourism strategy in Brno focusing on the theme of the Brno city of students. The work consists of two parts. In the theoretical part is a research of literary and internet sources of solved problems. The main focus is on strategic planning and strategic documents of the tourism for the Czech Republic at national, regional and local levels. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to detect and verify whether the target group of students and the topic - Brno student city will acquire higher priority and higher representation in the new Program, which was created during the preparation of this diploma thesis. Two more goals are formulated in the paper. Through an exploration among foreign universities, it will be verified whether these universities cooperate with the home city and how. The survey research will detect how foreign students perceive the city of Brno. The practical part summarizes the results obtained from the performed research and their interpretation.

Smart mobility in regional cities in the Czech republic

The Bachelor thesis on the topic Smart mobility in regional cities in the Czech Republic is focused on implemention of concepts Smart city in the target area of smart mobility.The aim of the thesis is to identify, systematicly sort; and to categorize those smart projects in regional cities of the Czech Republic, which have been focused on implementation of smart mobility. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the concept of a smart city is elaborated complexly with the help of literary review. The second part of the thesis is a practical part where I concentrated more detail the mobility in thirteen regional cities in the Czech Republic. Required information for the bachelor thesis was aquired by the review of publicly accessible material in both printed and eletronic form concerning given issue and the primary information of the issue was obtained through structured interviews with the representatives of the cities.

K DIPLOMOVÉ PRÁCI V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE Strategic Management of the Education System in the Czech Republic Antonie Ondrouchová ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis "Strategic Management of the Education System in the Czech Republic" is to analyze and critically evaluate strategic management at various levels of the education system of the Czech Republic; suggest recommendations for further research. Thus, the thesis answers question on the state of strategic management at various levels of the education system of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part defines the term "strategic management", which is generally characterized by determination, process, tools, meaning and obstacles in its application. The following chapter deals with strategic management in the education system, in particular by identifying four levels of management (national, regional, local, school) represented by the relevant institutions. At the theoretical level, education policy is considered to be an indication of directions and content that are embedded in public policy documents. Regional operational program in the new programming period 2014-2020. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2015. This bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of the regional operational program between the period 2007-2013 and the new programming period 2014-2020. Comparison will be made also between strategic documents. Emphasis is placed on changes that will affect the applicants for subsidies, which are munici-palities, counties and regions. In the first part is characterized regional policy and its development and goals. The second part presents strategic documents at European and national level. It also describes the IROP for the period 2014-2020 and compared with the ROP 2007-2013. In the last section are outlined key changes, and how will these changes view applicants for subsidies.

This thesis deals with the evaluation of sustainable development of the Region. The aim of this work was based on a questionnaire survey of indicators to assess the development of a sustainable development in the region. Most deficiencies are reflected in the economic dimension of the region. Proposed solutions were prepared especially for agriculture, tourism, research and development and innovation, promotion or operational programs. Sources of financing solutions primarily include operational programs of the new programming period, including state and regional aid.

Změny v regionální politice v novém programovém období 2014 - 2020

The thesis is focused on the identification of changes in regional policy in the new programming period, based on a comparison of program for 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. It is also focused on the implications of these changes for applicants and implementers of the project applications. The first section identifies changes in regional policy on European level, then changes on national level. It will identify changes in the level of cohesion regions and finally there is an effort to formulate recommendations for subjects that face that problem of regional policy-related areas, specifically for applicants and im-plementers of the project applications in the new period.
