Vysýchání sadebního materiálu během manipulace a metody jeho hodnocení
Volf, Luděk
The target of the thesis was evaluation of adoption and growing planting material of Norway spruce ( Picea abies (L.) Karst) and European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) after some time of having dryness caused by wrong manipulation. There were always tested different kinds of planting material - without soil and with soil on roots , fresh planting material and 1 week inserted into soil. Planting material without soil and with soil on roots was left on the soil surface next to place of planting without any protection against drying out and in specificied time intervals planted. Expose time 30mins, 60mins,120mins, 180mins, 240mins, 300min (330mins). In each tested variation was planted 20pcs of young plant. At the same time testing of new methods was realised. They secure water loss during drying out. Methods tried in practice were measuring weight loss during constant temperature conditions, measuring weight loss of plants with soil on roots and measuring humidity of soil on roots substratum. At the end of vegetational period was appointed mortality , termal growth, thickness of root shank, lenght of leaf and vitality. It was confirmed that within increasing time lenght appears reduction of growth and viability, primarily among young plants of beech. Young plants of spruce are more adaptable during mistreating and firtst of all it depends on spring time weather conditions. Tested methods of drying out should continue in further measuring.
Růst kultur založených rozdílnými biotechnikami sadby krytokořenného sadebního materiálu
Novák, Jiří
The aim was to determine the effect has different Biotechnics of the seed shattering container-grown planting material of Norway spruce, European beech, Durmast and Forest pine. Planting and measurements were carried out on two plots in the forest management unit Chotěnov village. Soils on the observed surfaces are of different nature - clay and sandy loam. For planting material spruce beech was chosen five kinds of seed. For planting material oak to pine three species. On the basis of the measured values was found, which way is best suited for planting, which is the least. It was determined on the basis of graphical and tabular outputs. The overall assessment then accounted for the weight tests, which compared the planting of seed. The outcome of the work was the assessment of the growing planting materials of different biotechnique seeds.
Využití krytokořenného a prostokořenného sadebního materiálu v nastávajících klimatických změnách
Mergl, Václav
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the use of containerized and bare-rooted planting stock in the upcoming climate change. Four research areas at different sites in SLT 2S, 6K, 6S and 7K (Czech forest ecosystem classification) and in different climatic areas were chosen for this purpose. Furthermore three timber species for the research were selected, namely European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karsten) and Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirbat.) Franco). 300 dormant individuals of the containerized and bare-rooted version of the chosen wood species were planted on each research area. 100 individuals of each variant in all species were measured after the growing season. Following parameters were measured on each plant: height of above-ground part of the plant, height of above-ground part of the plant at the time of the planting, shoot lenght, root collar diameter, crown width, length of the assimilatory organ, width of the assimilatory organ, trunk straightness, axis deflection of the trunk from the vertical axis. If trunk multiplicity occurred, the height of the trunk deployment was measured. Atributes such as color of the assimilatory organ, crown shape, type of loss or damage of the plant and the multiplicity of vertex were also observed. As a result it was found that it is necessary to maintain the natural tree species composition. Also it was revealed that the bare-rooted planting stock has a better survival rate on drier stands, precisely on SLT 2S. The SLT 6S, 6K and 7K were found to have better survival rate of the containerized planting stock. This finding indeed cannot be aplied at sites in SLT 6S and 7K where the beech had the same grow out rate.
Hodnocení fyziologické kvality sadebního materiálu dřevin
Lázničková, Anna
The thesis "Evaluation of Physiological Quality of Tree Planting Stock" deals with four testing methods to evaluate the physiological quality of planting stock and verifies their objectivity and usefulness for application in the natural conditions in the terrain at planting Norway spruce and European beech. These checked methods are: measuring of figures out percentage of water losses caused by a constant thermic stress, comparing weight before and after water saturation of close root balls, measuring of root balls humidity and measuring of chlorophyll fluorescence. The first three methods seem to be perspective and should by further testing and observations. The measuring of chlorophyll fluorescence cannot be used for water loss examination before planting. The development of available methods for determining physiological quality of tree planting stock is important for the success of planting in poor weather conditions.
Dlouhodobé skladování sadebního materiálu buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica L.)
Hrušková, Lenka
This bachelor thesis aims to determine suitable conditions for long-term storage of European beech planting stock in freezing conditions. In this thesis, we used a method of storing in freezing boxes with temperatures set at -3 °C, -6 °C and -8 °C. The main objectives of the thesis were to determine the temperature limit for the plants survival, the length of storage and acclimatization of the plants before planting, the effects of the fungicide application and the insulating properties of cardboard boxes and polyethylene bags. Two evaluations were performed in which we evaluated morphological parameters, plant vitality and plant loss. Our results suggest the temperature -3 °C as optimal for long-term storage in freezing boxes. The plant survival limit was set at -6 °C. No significant differences were observed between the types of packaging and the application of the fungicide for long-term storage in freezer boxes was not found to be necessary. For suitable acclimatization, we recommend more than 4 days. The total period for storage can reach over 4 months.
Vliv biotechniky sadby na odrůstání krytokořenného sadebního materiálu smrku ztepilého a buku lesního
Bezdíček, Jiří
The aim of thesis was to determine the effect of the different plantation biotechnique, different types of packaging and soil type for growing up of Norway spruce and European beech ball and balled planting stock. Measurements were performed on two plots within Management-plan area LESCUS Cetkovice Ltd. and it was a combination of medium-heavy-textured and heavy-textured soils. The types of planting for different types of planting stock were determined which were subsequently measured various parameters in the above-ground and underground parts of the plant. Based on the measured values, it was found which of the variants on the given soil grows best and which, on the other hand, is the worst. Furthermore, the strong influence of game on planted plants was detected. For afforestation are suitable ball and balled planting stock with type of packaging HIKO V-120 and HIKO V-350 for Norway spruce and European beech ball and balled planting stock with type of packaging HIKO V 265.

Studie školkařského provozu Ludkovice
Navrátil, Jakub
Purpose of final thesis deals to build forest nurseries on the territory of the forest administration Luhačovice, state company Lesy České republiky. The thesis describes the local conditions, the establishment of forest nurseries, but also information on forest management and the various technologies of cultivation of planting material. It is a complete study of that project are also evaluated in economic, biological and forestry. The goal is to create a forest nursery, which would produce planting stock for forest management Luhačovice.
