The structural system of the building is designed using Therm blocks with a certified thermal insulation system. The Therm blocks form the internal load-bearing walls of the above-ground floors as well as the basement of the building. The perimeter walls of the basement floor are made of plain vibrated concrete blocks. The residential building is roofed with a flat single-ply extensive green roof, which is prepared for the installation of photovoltaic panels to utilize alternative energy sources. The building is founded on foundation strips, and the floor structures are designed as monolithic reinforced concrete slab floors.
Preparation of Construction and Site Facilities

The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis first describes the preparation of the construction from the perspective of the contractor's behaviour in the bidding, pre-production and production preparation of the construction contract. Next, the site facilities are described in terms of their function, zoning and effective planning. The main objective of the practical part of the work is to prepare a technical report and a drawing of the site equipment situation for a specific set of two apartment buildings in the village of Nezdenice.
Apartment building in Bučovice
Konečná, Dominika ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Kalousek, Lubor (advisor)
In the town of Bučovice, on plot number 1282/100 in the cadastral area of Bučovice, a new apartment building has been designed. The construction is located on a nearly flat plot. The land-use plan designates the area as residential space for apartment buildings. The building consists of one underground floor and three above-ground floors. There are six residential units planned in the building. The entrance to the building is located on the northeast side and is designed with barrier-free access. The first underground floor houses cellar storage rooms, technical facilities for the apartment building, and three separate garage spaces. On the first above-ground floor, right after the entrance, there is a shared stroller and bicycle storage room. Additionally, there are two 1-room-kitchen (1KK) apartments on this floor. On the second above-ground floor, there are two 2-room-kitchen (2KK) units, and on the third above-ground floor, there are again two 1KK units. The foundation structures are constructed using a system of plain concrete strip foundations. The perimeter walls of the above-ground floors are built with ceramic blocks and insulated with an ETICS (Exterior Thermal Insulation Composite System) contact system with a thickness of 200mm. The staircase and intermediate landings are prefabricated, and the ceiling structures are monolithic reinforced concrete. The building is roofed with a flat green roof.
Electrical installation for apartment building with partial automation
Poruba, Marcel ; Janík, Daniel (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of power and data installations and systems for the automation of electrical installations. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the legislative and safety requirements for the realisation of project documentation and the methods of implementation of individual parts of electrical distribution systems, including a section on systems for the automation of electrical installations. The TECOMAT Foxtrot system, which is used in the second part of the thesis for controlling electrical installations, is described. The practical part contains the complete project documentation for the apartment build ing in the stage of documentation for the construction. The drawing part contains drawings of the floor plans of the building, in which the power wiring and data wiring including the control by the Foxtrot wiring system are drawn. The documentation includes wiring diagrams of switchboards, drawings of lightning protection system, technical report, budget and calculation of switchboards in Sichr software.
Design of foxtrot system installation for building control
Veselý, Matěj ; Janík, Daniel (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the development of project documentation in the DPS stage of a residential unit undergoing reconstruction. The project envisages that the housing unit will be designed for intelligent wiring. The intelligent wiring will be fitted with Foxtrot elements from Teco. The intelligent wiring control program has been developed in the software superstructure iCOOL4 from ICT expert. A visualisation of the intelligent wiring system was subsequently created in the software.

Small apartments at Mojmírovo Square in Brno
Vykydalová, Simona ; Šubrt, Jan (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the preparation of project documentation for building permits and documentation for construction implementation. The thesis is based on an architectural study that was prepared in the course AG033 - Architectural Design Studio 3 in the summer semester of the 2nd year on the topic of residential buildings. The topic of the study and subsequently of this bachelor thesis is the design of a new polyfunctional building in Brno on Košinova street. There are 35 small flats of various sizes designed within the polyfunctional building. Another significant function of the building is student dormitories. There is a designed 100 student rooms, for a total of 200 students. A café for the public and a fitness centre for the public are designed on the ground floor of the building. There is one rentable room with its own sanitary acilities on the ground floor. The building has an underground basement with underground garages for the residents of the house, cellars and technical facilities of the building. The plot is located in the municipality of Brno in the cadastral area of Královo Pole on Košinova Street. Specifically, it is a plot with parcel numbers 956/1, 956/2, 956/3, 956/4, 962/1, 964, 965, 966, 967. The land is not significantly sloping, it is a flat area. The designed building is a corner building which relates to the surrounding existing development. On one side it is the Josef Chaloupka House of Services for blind people and on the other side it is the building of the elementary school Košinova. As part of the studio assignment AG033 in year 2, the requirement was to connect the new building to the existing parking house ABC Parking, the connection was made through the green roof on the 6th floor. The mass of the building is divided into three distinct blocks that recede in relation to each other. The highest corner block serves as a residential building. The following two smaller receding blocks function as student dormitories. The ground floor of the building is largely used for public use as a café or gym and in contrast to the mass on the 2nd floor, it is entirely receded into the inner area of the building. In terms of the overall appearance, an attempt was made to keep the appearance of the building as clean as possible. A simple window and door arrangement on the facade was chosen in combination with white facade color. The ground floor of the building is higher, set back from the upper floors and largely glazed. The facade color in this section is a darker gray used to distinguish and lighten the rest of the building. A walkable green roof is designed on all three masses. The lowest is used for students, the middle is used to connect to the parking structure, and the highest roof garden is accessible to the residents of the apartment building.
