The use of children's musical in the process of teaching music

This diploma thesis introduces children's musical as a didactic tool at primary schools. This work maps the influence of creative playwright on the development of musical abilities, skills and creativities. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis defines the term "musical". It briefly describes the origin of the musical as a genre. The practical part brings possibilities of using a musical as a means of an educational process. It provides particular demonstrative situations which lead to development of the crucial competences of the students. The author of the musical is the author of this diploma thesis. She herself translates the music recording, scenario, and methodical material. The method, that has been used for the field research, is a systemic observation which is divided into ten lessons in the form of a project-based learning. This thesis deals with an issue, whether the musical enables an active engagement of the pupils in the musical educational process. The hypotheses, which have been set, are verified by the means of collective reflection from which follows students' higher motivation for musical activity. After School Art Programme at the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region

The diploma thesis deals with informal leisure education in the gallery institution of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region in Kutná Hora. The theoretical part introduces concepts related to education in cultural institutions. It moves from the definition of museums and galleries to the definition of education and other concepts related to the issue of non-unified terminology. It looks at the use of several terms with the same meaning, such as education and animation, and their use in the literature. It then describes the life and work of the artists Jitka and Květa Válová, whose life's work was presented by the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region in the exhibition Jitka and Květa Válovy: A Path Destined by Fate. The artists and the exhibition are connected to an educational programme that was created during six months of work with children of younger school age in an afternoon leisure activity called Ne/kroužek. Ne/kroužek is patronised by The Learning Centre of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region. The activities of The Learning Centre and its programme offer for 2022 are also described in the theoretical part. The relationship between basic motor coordination and motor skills in primary school children

Title: The relationship between basic motor coordination and fundamental movement skills in primary school children Author: Dominik Chládek Supervisor: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Ph.D. Objectives: To investigace the level of motor coordination and basic motor skills in children of younger school age. At the same time, the aim is to find out the possible relationship between the level of motor coordination and fundamental movement skills. Methods: The test population included 106 pupils from grades 3 to 5, aged 10 to 11 of primary school. The TGMD-2 test battery was used to assess their motor skills level, while the KTK test battery was used to assess motor coordination. Results: The results of this research show below average to very poor performance on the TGMD-2 test in 96 (90.5 %) of the 106 probands. In the KTK test, 44 (41.5 %) children rating normal and 45 (42.5 %) probands rating good according to the motor quotient. Furthermore, there was a strong correlation between TGMD-2 and KTK tests and non-significant differences between boys and girls. The theme of the Holocaust conveyed to pupils of younger school age at primary school level through work with a book

The aim of this thesis is to analyse appropriate literature containing the topic of the Holocaust and to sensitively convey the topic to pupils of younger school age. The topic of the Holocaust is very challenging and requires a special approach, especially when dealing with younger pupils. Therefore, the first chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of the younger school-age child, his cognitive, emotional and value development. Next, the theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of literature for children and young people, its functions and typical genres. It also gets to the definition of the theme of the Holocaust in the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education and discusses the theme of the Holocaust in literature for children and youth. The final chapter of the theoretical part first defines reading literacy and its development. In the context of literacy development, the chapter characterizes the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking program and describes selected methods of this program that will be used later in the research part of the thesis. The diploma thesis deals with the personal opinions (preferences) of 1st grade elementary school students regarding the implementation of physical education lessons in relation to the content level of the framework educational program. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part of the thesis are specified in more detail the characteristics of the younger school-aged child, the physical activity of the younger school-aged child and the framework educational program Man and Health. In the practical part of the diploma thesis is carried out research in the form of a questionnaire survey of primary school pupils and formal interviews with the pedagogy of primary school. Evaluation of teaching Health and Physical Education at primary and secondary schools: Analysis of existing research

Title: Evaluation of teaching Health and Physical Education at primary and secondary schools: Analysis of existing research Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to analyse and evaluate contemporary state of teaching Health and Physical Education at schools in the Czech Republic with using existing research studies. Methods: In this theses methods of comparative analysiswere used in order to evaluate existing bachelor and diploma theses focused on health and physical education. The data were drawn from Google Scholar database, the digital database of Charles University, theses.cz and from the ResearchGate. Furthermore, data from questionaires carried out among teachers in 2005 were included. Results: The results say, that Health and Physical education is not taught at 194 schools from the whole of 226 researched schools. The most common health issue mentioned by 104 schools being the weakenning of moving apparatus. The main obstacles for inclusion of PE into school curriculum mentioned insufficiant finances and lack of professional teaching staff. Such issues are mentioned by 64 schools. Analysis of the level of stick handling in ice hockey in U10 - U11 the category

Analysis of the level of stickhandling skills in ice hockey in the U10 - U11 category The main goal of this thesis is to analyse the level of stickhandling skills among youth ice hockey players in the U10 and U11 categories. Reaching this goal consists of two main steps - first is the implementation of a research standardised test battery focused on puck control in selected Czech ice hockey clubs, which is followed by a comparative analysis and interpretation of the data obtained from this testing. For this bachelor's thesis, we employed the methods of observation, analysis and comparison. The observation method was used for the implementation of the standardised testing of the level of stickhandling skills for the U10 and U11 categories. An analytical and comparative methodical approach was then used for the evaluation and interpretation of the data obtained from the on-ice testing. A total of 246 players from U10 and U11 categories from 8 different Czech ice hockey clubs took part in the testing of the level of stickhandling skills. The average stickhandling level of players in the U11 category is noticeably higher (reaching a value of 4.3) than that of players from the U10 category (value of 2.9). Context of family upbringing style and aggression in children of younger school age

The bachelor thesis focuses on a context of family upbringing style and aggression in children of younger school age. The Fairy Tale Test and The Parental Styles Questionnaire for the children from 8 to 12 years old are used as the methods to assess the context of this issue. The theoretical part aims to define the developmental stage of younger school age underlying notions related to upbringing of a child and its behavior typical for the stage. The last part describes the concept of aggression or aggressivity. Furthermore, its specifics in childhood are presented. The empirical part specifies the possible ways of examinating the issue, mainly through the methods mentioned earlier and proposes alternatives of using the data we have gained. Tactile perception children with severe visual impairment through application of STIP test

The aim of this thesis was to provide a comprehensive summary of findings and statistical results of verification of visually impaired children's tactile abilities in preschool age (5 - 8 years), early school age (9 - 12 years) and older school age (13 - 17 years) using STIP tests I. - III. (Speed of Tactile Information Processing). The STIP test, taken from the English original, is converted into Braille and testing reading abilities of numerals. The test assesses accuracy - error making in lines, rate and concentration.
