Specifics of a family with a handicapped child

The diploma thesis is focused on researching the impact of a disabled child on the family from birth to adulthood and follows the specifics of a family with a disabled child. It is about the effect on the family as a whole, as well as the effect on individual family members and the relationships between them. An important aspect is also the impact on the formation of relationships between siblings and relatives, as well as the influence on the social environment of the family. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with basic concepts such as family and its functions and factors affecting it, disability, types and consequences of disability. In the practical part, the work focuses on researching the impact of a disabled child on the family from birth to adulthood. The goal of this work was the best possible understanding of the impact of the arrival of a disabled child in the family and the impact of the newly created situation on family members. The main topic is to focus on their states and reactions in the individual stages of life with a disabled child and to find out how and in what form it is possible to help eliminate the negative effects of a disabled child on individual family members and their own lives. Integration of Music Activities into the Educational Subjects of Primary School Olga Chase Thesis Supervisor: PhDr. Petra Bělohlávková, Ph.D. Programme of Study: Elementary School Teacher Education Field of Study: Primary School Teacher Education ABSTRACT The main subject of the thesis is the inclusion of music activities into the educational subjects of Primary School. The thesis aims at a critical judgement of opinions on the importance o into the music activites integration educational subjects of Primary School. The theoretical part introduces the organization of the integrated education, summarizes the existing knowledge of the music activities impact on the child's personality development on the side of scientific literature and other relevant sources, it exalts the outcomes of works focusing on music integration into the Primary School education. The practical part researches the integration of music activites into the educational subjects of Primary School, compares the impact of the regular education and the specialised music-oriented education, and based on a questionnaire survey and personal observation, it evaluates the effect of such education from the perspective of the pupils, their parents and their teachers.

Real-time propojení senzorů pro navigaci

The development of satellite techniques in the field of precise positioning and the availability of mobile devices with a built-in multi-GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver allow us to determine positions with better accuracy than a dozen or so years ago. At the same time, there is a growing demand from users for more and more accurate positioning while reducing the costs of the final device (e.g., a navigation system for autonomous lawn mowers). This work presents the concept of a solution that integrates different positioning techniques: gyroscopes, odometers, and GNSS using a loosely coupled Kalman filter. The sensor integration model was developed for horizontal components (2D) with simultaneous determination of azimuth and precise position. Additionally, the integration filter uses a dynamic weight matrix, the values of which are selected depending on the type of GNSS solution (FIX, FLOAT, etc.). Tests of the measurement platform were carried out under ideal conditions and in places where the horizon is obscured (passes along a high wall, under openwork steel trusses, etc.). The accuracies obtained during tests using EKF and the dynamic weight matrix are RMS 0.019 m for the North and East components. However, the accuracy of the azimuth determination was 0.59°. In addition, the presentation will present a platform concept that integrates low-cost sensors in real time.

Revitalization and Renewal of the Town of Velké Němčice

The diploma thesis follows up the design of a senior-housing building in a small town called Velké Němčice. The design project was preceded by the creation of “Strategic Plan for the Sustainability and Possible Development of the Residency” in the form of a book publication based on analyzes, research of the area and discussion with the members of the city council. According to this publication several specific topics were created for more detailed elaboration. The solution of senior-housing belongs among the other goals of Velké Němčice town since as other small towns in Czech Republic they face the same problem of an aging population. As a part of a project there were selected various potential locations for senior-housing buildings and possible forms of these facilities were considered. The selected plot is located in the very center of the town nearby school, football field and also residential area. It was necessary to work with these aspects in order to achieve the best result both for seniors and for town residents. The building design is intended for self-sufficient seniors who still want to be part of social interaction both with town residents and with the younger generation. In a case of reduced mobility the apartments are designed in a way that can be easily modified and seniors do not need to move to another location. Common areas (indoor and outdoor) are used for recreation of all residents of the house including meetings with relatives and close friends. The outer part of the residency serves as a space where the process of socialization takes place the most. The pre-diploma thesis was developed in a group as a team-work and this cooperation also continued during the individual assignment of diploma theses. The common goal of all collaborators is to improve the environment of the town and life in it itself.

Proposal of the modular support equipment for the CubeSat integration

Cílem diplomové práce je vytvořit konstrukční návrh modulárního integračního přípravku CubeSatů. V textu níže jsou obecně představeny CubeSaty společně s komerčními přípravky pro jejich integraci. Finální konstrukční řešení bylo zvoleno na základě porovnání zvolených parametrů a informací zjištěných z průzkumu trhu. Návrh byl úspěšně vytvořen a k práci jsou připojena 3D data a výkresová dokumentace.

Roles and Positions of Expatriats in Selected Organisations

The master's thesis investigates the employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic, work, personal, and family life of expatriats, community life and other influence over the integration of expatriats. In the theoretical part there are drawn up basic theoretical attitudes to these problems. In the practical part you can find the results of the interviews realized with expatriats. On the basis of the results the analysis of quality data was realized and the changes were suggested. They are aimed to make easy and streamline cooperation of all parties concerned.
