Potato Harvesting in Vysočina - radio reportage

This bachelor's thesis uses a radio reportage to show the process of harvesting potatoes on Josef Vlk's farm in Čelistná near Pelhřimov. In the first, theoretical part, the topic of reportage as a radio genre is mentioned with the addition of its past and present. One chapter will also focus on the basic orientation of the potato harvest. The second half is devoted to the methodology of making radio reportage. It explains the preparation, recording procedure and subsequent post-production.

The analysis of growing system of fodder crops for fodder and energetical biomasss production in selected farm

The bachelor thesis deals with selected agricultural crops for fodder and energy-energy purposes on the selected farm. The thesis deals with the evaluation of yields and analysis of forage cropping systems on arable land, where the main crop is maize (Zea mays), and also focuses on permanent grassland. The arable land was grassed with a permanent clover-grass mixture consisting of 7 grass species and 1 clover spe-cies. The main aim of my chosen bachelor thesis was to evaluate the development and harvesting of forage stands on both arable land and stands belonging to the TTP, then to evaluate their yield and also to focus on the assessment of plant composition. The plot where the restoration and sowing with clover-grass mixtures took place was also monitored. The chapter evaluating the results of the permanent grassland (TTP) includes an as-sessment of the three selected plots where the distribution of individual clover and grasses was monitored. At the same time, the thesis also focuses on the evaluation of the arable land treatment and the condition of the stands where maize (Zea mays) is grown for feed and energy purposes. The main indicators monitored are soil prepara-tion, sowing style, nutrition and, last but not least, harvesting with yield.

Rizikové faktory v kabině sklízecích mlátiček

The diploma thesis is focused on harvesting threshers in terms of noise, dust and temperature in the cab. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part there are basic data and concepts of harvesters, acoustic materials and health protection at work in agriculture. In the practical part itself was performed measurement of noise, dust, temperature and humidity in the cabin cabin cabinet. Measurements took place on land of agricultural cooperatives and private owners. Based on the measured values, an overview of the parameters of individual machines was created.

Mapování pohybu techniky pro sklizeň píce s využitím a bez využití GPS

This bachelor thesis deals with mapping the movement of agricultural machinery during forage harvesting. The first part describes the individual navigation systems, positioning methods, correction of measurement results, guidance systems and basic mowers. The second part compares mowing forage using navigation. The compared values include the total measurement time, from which the performance or consumed diesel is calculated. Furthermore, savings for saved diesel and operator's salary and return on investment in GPS navigation are calculated.

Electrocoagulation of Microalga Chlorella vulgaris.

This study is focused on harvesting of Chlorella vulgaris, well-known microalga with wide range of use in nutrition and health care. Harvesting (separation of cells from a culture medium) is an important part of the production process. It was estimated that approximately 30% of the production costs is the cost of biomass separation. Harvesting densities of photoautotrophic microalgae are relatively low (the final dry biomass concentrations usually vary in range 0.5–3 g/L). Centrifugation is the most frequently used method of harvesting, but it is economically inefficient due to its high process cost.

Comparative Analysis of WebArchiv of the National Library of the Czech Republic and Foreign Projects

(in English) The topic of the diploma thesis is to compare the WebArchiv with selected foreign Web Archives, which are responsible for preserving the national cultural heritage. The introduction briefly explains the history of Web Archives and typology of harvesting. Next parts deal with the history, legal aspects of archiving, selected types of harvesting, Web resources, systems, accessing and evaluation the Czech (WebArchiv), Australian (Pandora) and British archive (United Kingdom Web Archive). The text continues with an evaluation of the selected archives that mentions strong and weak properties and possible solutions. In conclusion, outlines the problematic aspects of archiving, which must be addressed in the future. [Author's abstract]

The use of satellite navigation in fodder plants harvesting

Bachelor thesis deals with satellite navigation in agriculture with an emphasis on use in fodder plants harvesting. The thesis performs a brief theoretical overview of a current knowledge in the field of global satellite systems, focusing on GPS navigation system. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the use of satellite technology in agriculture, especially to continuity of operations in fodder plants harvesting and to optimizing of machines movement on the land.
