Geomechanical and geophysical experience gained in the process of exploration in the safety pillars of former shafts Doubrava
Kubica, M. ; Holečko, J. ; Ptáček, Jiří
The excavation in the safety pillars is in mostly cases specific minig problem. It is primarily related to the properties of rock mass and to the long-term excavation in the circumjacent part of the deposit. That is why the high stres concentration acumulates and consequently rock burst risk is rising there. In our contribution, we would like to state the first geomechanical and geophysical experiences from the excavation in the safety pillar of former shafts Doubrava in the north part of Karviná subbasin.
3rd Traditional International Colloquium on Geomechanics and Geophysics
Koníček, Petr ; Souček, Kamil
The 3rd international traditional geomechanical and geophysical colloquium is aimed to be not only a significant international meeting of specialists from the area of geomechanics and geophysics, but also a celebration of doc. Ing. Petr Konečný, CSc. 70th anniversary.

Proceedings include papers devoted to geophysical methods application for solution of following problems: mining tremors, structure and properties of rock massif, geotechnical questions and laboratory investigation of rock fracturing.
Změny horninového masívu v blízkosti okraje poklesové kotliny
Doležalová, Hana
Repeated geodetic and geophysical surveying near the margin of a creating subsidence depression has shown on a fluctuation of heights of levelled points and on significant rock massif changes. The possible cause of these changes may be found not only in progressive stress-deformational changes due to undermining but also in the changing regime of the groundwater. Confrontation of the levelled height changes with the height of the groundwater level shows that the regime of the groundwater may be a substantial cause of surface height changes. Also the resistivity anomalies found by geophysical measurements can be caused by change of hydro-geological regime.
Complex geodetic and geophysical measuring in the subsidence depression
Doležalová, Hana ; Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Müller, Karel
The usage of geodetic and geophysical methods to measure at the undermined territory is described in the contribution. Beside geodetic methods that are used in the subsidence depression to find out both motions and deformations of the surface and buildings there's also presented the suitability to use geophysical methods in the mining area. The principles of seismologic measurements to review buildings exposure are described too, as the observation of influences of underground mining on buildings is very useful.
Role of geophysical exploration in the comprehesive solving of geotechnical problems in the limestone quarry, Butkov at Ladce by Púchov
Müllerová, J. ; Müller, Karel
Application of geophysical methods for stability calculations in the Butkov quarry and for the function of the shaft.
Environmentální a inženýrská geofyzika v České republice
Müller, Karel ; Bláha, P.
Case histories and the trends of development of geophysical methods for the applications in geotechnics, hydrogeology and in environment in the Czech Republic.
Fyzikální změny ve svahových deformacích
Bláha, P. ; Müller, Karel
The geophysical investigations of the slope deformations have enabled to find the physical property changes (acoustic or electromagnetic emission, the resistivity, bulk density and velocity changes) in the rock massif.
