Effect of trunk stabilization on throwing velocity in heptathlon and decathlon athletes

Title: Effect of trunk stabilization on throwing velocity in heptathlon and decathlon athletes Background: Throwing disciplines are an important part of combined track and field events. A stable trunk is a necessary component of the kinematic chain in the generation of force during throwing. Throwing is usually ineffective if the leg and trunk muscles are unable to generate sufficient force or if there is no transfer of energy to the throwing arm. This paper examines the effect of trunk stabilization on throwing velocity. Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate whether it is possible to increase the throwing velocity of heptathlon and decathlon athletes by using exercises aimed at improving trunk stabilization. Methods: Measurement of throwing velocity using sports radar, assessment of trunk stabilization level using Janda's stereotype of push-up, Kolar's bear test and deep squat test and McGillʹs torso muscular endurance test battery. Results: During the ten-week intervention focused on trunk stabilization, the experimental group experienced an average improvement in throwing velocity of 5.76 km/h (8.9%). Influence of athletics training on physical ability of 13 years old pupils

The aim of the practical part of this baccalaureat thesis is to find out, if athletic training has and impact on physical ability of athletes at the age of 13, in comparison with the standards set by the Manual for manual and computerized assessment of basic motor performance and selected characteristics of the body structure of youth and adults in the Czech Republic, but also towards pupils who are attending other sport events or do no not play any sports at all. The UNIFITTEST test batery was used. It tests children in foru disciplines. The collected data were tabulated and then evaluated based on the above objectives. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of physical fitness and ist components. It also touches on body composition, obesity and underweight. It characterizes the older school age and brings us closer to the athletics training of this age group.
Preparation of applicants for admission procedures in physical education for the field of physical education and sport at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Charles University

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the preparation of the students of the Faculty of Education of Charles University for the talent exams in physical education. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the students of Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University are prepared for the talent exams in physical education, whether they are prepared at all, for how long, or under what guidance and in what sports. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the introduction of the Framework Educational Programmes for Physical Education in different secondary schools and a comparison of their differences. Furthermore, it focuses on the description and characteristics of the physical education talent test at universities, including the different disciplines and sports that are included in the talent test. The theoretical section also concludes with an analysis of the role of physical abilities and skills as key determinants of sport performance and their impact on success in the talent test. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the topic of lower limb function across the spectrum of throwing disciplines and in the practical part on the possibilities offered by physiotherapy specifically to influence lower limb function through therapy in three probands involved in track and field throwing. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the information on the topic of lower limb function in track and field throws and evaluates the effectiveness of the chosen therapy in female probands.
The attractiveness of individual athletic in primary schools

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to determine the level of attractiveness of athletic disciplines within physical education classes at primary schools and to identify factors that influence the attractiveness of these disciplines. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research sections. In the theoretical part, information is summarized regarding the significance of athletics in the curriculum of physical education at primary schools, including the history of athletics, motivation of students in physical activities, and general sports preferences. The research section focused on interpreting the results from a questionnaire survey completed by 256 respondents from selected primary schools in the Pelhřimov district, specifically ZŠ Humpolec, ZŠ Pacov, and ZŠ Pelhřimov. This part of the thesis places further emphasis on students' relationships with individual athletic disciplines and their impact on student performance, featuring a detailed analysis of the attractiveness of athletic disciplines, especially focusing on selected disciplines such as sprinting, ball throwing, and high jumping. In the theoretical part, the bachelor´s thesis focuses on the preschool children, on their physical and motor development and also focuses on the movement skills development of preschool children. As next the theoretical part focuses on the athletics, its history, characteristics and especially focuses on the athletics for children. The practical part of the bachelor´s thesis presents results of the methodological program "We start with athletics already in kindergarten", which was verified in kindergartens on the basic of a qualitive research, specifically were made methods of interviews and participant observation.

In this thesis topic is dealt with conditions for the establishment of the athletic club dedicated to children and the public. The analysis identified and itemized conditions for the establishment, athletic club in terms of both material and technical, and in terms of the support center, training possibilities and cooperation with the local football club. Part of this work is to propose a process of important steps before the founding of the athletic club in this city.
Favorite Brno / cycling / track stadium bikrosová architectural study design

The diploma thesis is focused on an architectonic study of cycling stadium in Brno Komárov that shall substitute the current velodrome at Brno´s fair ground that does not conform to current Olympic standards and that shall provide new and better conditions not only for the club Favorit Brno base but also for other enthusiastic sportsmen of track cycling. The study regards also the future adding of another sport, of athletics as Brno has not enough of covered training areas. That is why I add the cycling with this sport in my diploma thesis so that the building can offer its maximum not only to top sportsmen but also occasional sport enthusiasts and to enrich its surroundings to its maximum. The building design uses combination of concrete, steel and glass. Large glass façade is shielded with a great roof overlap that shall provide a natural shielding in summer period. The diploma thesis was preceded with a specialised atelier TG02 that was focused on the development of adjacent surfaces, on the BMX track that should closely cooperate with the new cycling stadium. The specified territory in Komárov Brno presents a great sport potential that shall be developed in the future.
