The aim of this thesis is a CSR analysis in the scale of the Czech republic. It describes the application of the CSR in the focus of big multinational corporations, big companies and small and medium enterprises. It mentions the organizations that implement and develop the CSR and tackles/ deals with their methods and procedures. The thesis also evaluates the CSR and its aspects in a particular company (AVOS VYSKOV Measuring and Regulation Technology Ltd) and proposes concrete measures to clarify and improve the situation. Conclusions of this thesis will be used as a feedback for the company management and as a support for the annual report of the CSR.

The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Recruitment

Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, do jaké míry ovlivňuje společenská odpovědnost podniků a související činnosti organizací rozhodování žadatelů o zaměstnání. Zaměřuje se konkrétně na expatrioty. Teoretická část vysvětluje koncept společenské odpovědnosti firem, uvádí definici tohoto konceptu a také vysvětluje pojetí tří pilířů. Dále jsou představeny výzkumy, které byly v této oblasti provedeny spoječně s teoriemi diskutujícími o dopadech CSR na přilákání nových zaměstnanců. Práce dále uvádí primární empirický výzkum, který je zaměřen na to, jak uchazeči o zaměstnání vnímají sociální identitu společnosti a jaký význam hraje v jejich rozhodovacím procesu. Na základě zjištěných poznatků předkládá autor doporučení na použití CSR jako nástroj k přilákání nových zaměstnanců coby alternativu ke zvýšení platu.

Kahúnová, A. Social responsibility in the field of public catering. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The diploma thesis deals with the design of sustainable recommendations for school catering facilities with a focus on short supply chains. Thanks to the processing of quantitative research, data was obtained to evaluate the involvement of short supply chains in the operation of school canteens and also the benefit of shopping from local suppliers. Data were also obtained and evaluated in the field of education about food waste and the effects of participation in projects helping to improve the operation of school canteens in the Czech Republic. These data were supplemented with statements from school canteen managers, who had the opportunity to add their experience in the field and express their opinion on the current state of the school canteen system. Recommendations were properly described and economically calculated if possible.

Environmentální pilíř společenské odpovědnosti v oblasti organizace kulturních akcí

The thesis focuses on the environmental pillar of social responsibility in the organization of cultural events of the TIC Brno organization. The literature part is focused on theoretical knowledge, which is used to explain the concepts related to the pro-issues of social responsibility. The practical part is focused on a detailed analysis of TIC Brno and selected cultural events. The external environment is analysed using PESTE analysis. The thesis also includes a questionnaire survey to determine the public attitude towards environmental issues. Based on the obtained findings, a SWOT analysis is made, and weaknesses are analysed in more detail. Subsequently, recommendations are proposed, which are economically based and used for actions of a similar type. From the results of the primary survey, it can be concluded that the public has a high interest in engaging in activities that contribute to environmental protection

Citizens' attitude to the sorted waste

This Thesis is focused on problematics of waste sorting and its importance for the society. It analyzes waste management, legislative norms, motivation and ecological questions of waste sorting. Quantitative survey, that maps attitudes of respondents, is a part of this Thesis. The results shows increasing awareness of the public towards the importance. I suggest also the areas for improvement of the perception and responsibility regarding the waste sorting. Sorting the waste brings economical, ecological and social benefits and is crucial for sustainable growth.

Cooperation of the profit and non-profit sector in the field of CSR

The thesis will explore the cooperation between the for-profit and non-profit sectors in the field of corporate social responsibility. The theoretical section will be divided into three main chapters, which will first present the overall theoretical conceptual framework of the non- profit sector. Afterwards, the concept of CSR as it is understood today will be introduced through an analysis of the literature. Above all, this part of the thesis will concentrate on the potential benefits of implementing CSR strategies in the organizations. The last chapter will deal with the actors that can engage in the field of CSR and will clarify how CSR-based actors can be linked in a cross-sector collaboration. In the empirical part of the thesis, we will look at how the concept of CSR is implemented by the company Albert Ltd. in cooperation with the Albert Foundation in its activities, what activities occur within the cooperation and what it provides for both actors.

Perception of sexual harassment in the sports industry: case of Czech university students

Title: Perception of sexual harassment in the sports industry: case of Czech university students Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyse and describe the perception of sexual harassment in the environment of organized sport in the Czech Republic from the perspective of selected students attending Czech universities. At the same time, it also explains the importance of taking this problem into account, the solution of which should be addressed by the management of sports organisations. Methods: In order to achieve the results, mixed research is used in this thesis. Firstly, through the qualitative part, i.e. focus group, opinions on the topic of sexual harassment in the environment of organized sport are obtained, which are further used and elaborated on the quantitative method of questionnaire survey, to obtain the respondents experiences and opinions on the topic. Results: Selected students attending Czech universities frequently and repeatedly encounter sexual harassment in the environment of organized sport. The perpetrator is often a male athlete or coach and the victim a female athlete. The most common are verbal and non- verbal forms. The victims usually suffer psychological consequences or in some cases are forced to change or stop their sporting activity altogether. The results...
