The manor house Boskovice
Podivínská, Adéla ; ing.arch. Lukáš Ležatka, Ph.D (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Švecová, Táňa (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is based on studio project created in the summer semester of the second year of undergraduate studies. The task was the renewal solutions and new use of the building with a loft, currently unused, the building of the Manor house in Boskovice. Manor house is located in a conservation area near the center of Boskovice, district Blansko. This historically protected building complex of farm Boskovice castle is a valuable urban property. After a fire in 1823 was rebuilt, but its appearance has remained virtually unchanged. The biggest change has passed the east wing, which was built a new roof, and arcades were walled up. Currently, the building unused and falling into disrepair. The courtyard is overgrown gas distributor greenery and paved areas are in a state of devastation. The aim was to restore the place of its historical value and use of the building to the public for recreation and leisure activities. In its current form and historically valuable buildings renaissance details will not be interfered with in any way, and nothing will be demolished, but in the context of the return of state in historical terms, it is about restoring monuments. Outbuildings were designed with understated approach so as to not disrupt the architectural structures countenance, but they gave him a new modern concept. The material on these new features is the corroded steel. It was a merger of the two approaches to architecture in a different century. The building consists of a deck above the newly exploited attic for accommodation and part of the basement is also three separate cellars. Existing structures will be redeveloped. Construction work will be carried out mainly in the context of treatment available, change sanitary rooms, new loft conversion and conversion use. The proposed functional content manor house after reconstruction and completion is predominantly public, there will be a library, catering, accommodation and facilities for leisure acti
Study on relaxation properties of hydrogels using rheological techniques
Lorenc, Pavel ; Klučáková, Martina (referee) ; Smilek, Jiří (advisor)
Submitted bachelor’s thesis deals with the study of relaxation and time stress of viscoelastic substances (hydrogels) using selected rheological techniques, especially with regard to oscillation tests. Hydrogels with different types of crosslinking were prepared and their properties were compared during the measurement. Agarose hydrogels (physically), alginate hydrogels (physicochemically), polyvinyl alcohol hydrogels (chemically) and hyaluronic acid hydrogels (ionically). In this bachelor's thesis, methods for measuring the relaxation properties of these hydrogels using a rheometer were designed and subsequently applied. We examined the relaxation properties of hydrogels using time-dependent tests that examined changes in amplitude over time. We performed a test that had 3 intervals, in which we monitored the response of hydrogels to the changes by changing the amplitudes of deformation with time. The relaxation properties of these hydrogels were studied, which showed significant differences in the behavior of hydrogels in measurements.By these methods, it was found that the structure of hydrogels and concentrations have an influence on relaxation. From the measured results, it was shown that the best relaxing properties have chemically crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol hydrogel, the lowest ability to relax was shown by physico-chemically crosslinked alginate hydrogel. The results from the measured data were finally compared, assessed and commented on the differences between the individual hydrogels.

NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner
Valentová, Veronika ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The task was to create a multi-functional building with a predominant feature of living in Brno on the corner of Stara and Bratislavska. This area is close to the city street circuit that encircles the center of Brno. The territory includes a vacant lot at the corner of the intersection, and further defined the adjacent street of Stará, Bratislava and Körnerová. My goal was to create a multifunctional building that would bring new applications to the sites and would be used at any time of the day. For this reason. I decided to combine the function of housing, commercial, administration and relaxation. Another goal was to create an object that will respect the surrounding historical buildings and give it added value. The result is mass divided into several smaller buildings, which opens onto a street junction with Stará and Bratislavska.
Measurement of diffusion coefitients by use of magnetic resonance
Král, Jakub ; Gescheidtová, Eva (referee) ; Bartušek, Karel (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is focused on imaging techniques based on the principles of nuclear-magnetic resonance. These techniques are one of the most modern studies of physical, chemical and biological properties of substances. Introduction of this work is focused primarily on physical principles. Further in this work attention is given to the method of the PFG-SE but also to more modern multiinterval NMR methods, which removes the systematic measurement errors for heterogeneous materials. Part of the work is also devoted to b-factor calculations for various kinds of pulse sequences. In last part the work is devoted to data processing in Matlab and Marevisi. Selected method from the beginning of the work is than used to measure the diffusion and processing of tissue cultures.
Water park Brno
Liznová, Veronika ; Kotek, arch Jakub (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis is the solution of the Lužánky sport complex in Brno. The aim of the diploma project is to create a new modern sport recreation area which will be situated next to the existing swimming pool. The main object is an aquapark with indoor and outdoor pools. In area of the aquapark are other premises like wellness, fitness cen-ter, café and other small businesses. Proposed object should be connected to the exis-ting pool with a 50-meter track. Visitors could go from one place to the other without exiting the complex. Also included is the increase of indoor and outdoor parking. Around the complex a footbridge had been designed to connect all the sports facilities. The foot-bridge is intended for pedestrians and cyclists and is designed to avoid blocking car traffic. Main entrance to the aquapark is on the same level as the footbridge, on the 2nd floor. Visitors can go to the footbridge by pedestrian ramp, stairs or lifts. This complex will meet the requirements and current expectations of the visitors in the area. It will also increase the attractiveness of the entire territory.
Conversion of Vlněna boiling-room
Gebauer, Pavel ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the reconstruction and restoration of the building which is part of Vlněna complex in Brno. Location, in which is the object situated, is undergoing an extensive/large modernisation. Almost all historic buildings of this industrial complex are being replaced with high-rise administration blocks which deviate from historical context of the area. One of those exceptions, is also the object of this thesis. It is a former heating building that supplied energy to a mentioned complex. The attempt of the design was maximal purification from contemporary and purely functional interventions in order to support the historical footprint which is a fundamental factor for revitalization of the remaining parts of the area. The building is, in its own way, a manifestation of its surroundings. The object was cleansed to its visible structure made of bricks and wooden beam ceilings. This is refering to a time when these materials were understood as an essential costruction of every building, until they were replaced with structures from reinforced concrete and transparent facades with purely functional approach, which is visible in this new vision of Vlněna complex. Considering the administration aspect of the rest of the area, the building with its functional usage is trying to stimulate life and by that add space for social facilities. The object poetically named “the centre of regeneration“ includes many ways of relaxation which is an integral element to a monotone activities of administration buildings. The lower parts of the building contain a social function in the form of mini-brewery with beer hall/cellar, and restaurant in second floor. The other floors then offer regeneration, mental and physical, from massages to yoga practice. The result of this thesis is a revitalizational boost of the area. The object, in its function and form, is an opposite of new modern part of the complex. However, the object should not be unders

The final thesis is focused on the design and elaboration of the project documentation of the sports and relaxation center. The proposed building is located in the south-eastern part of the town of Hradec Králové, in a location supposed for buildings and areas of sports and relaxation use. It is a three-storey building with a flat roof and partial basement. The construction system is wall-mounted with a combination of skeleton. The building is based on plain concrete and reinforced concrete foundation footing. The peripheral, supporting and partition walls are designed from ceramic blocks POROTHERM. The inner load-bearing elements consist mainly of reinforced concrete columns. The ceiling structure is designed from reinforced concrete slabs supported locally. The perimeter walls of the first overground floor and part of the perimeter walls of the basement are insulated by an external contact thermal insulation system. The thermal insulation of the perimeter walls of the second floor is designed by means of a ventilated facade with facade tiles except the squash courts and the relaxation area. The building is functionally divided into three main parts, where the central part forms an entrance hall with comunication spaces of all floors. In this part a basement with technical facilities is designed. The right part of the ground floor consists of a restaurant with a bowling alley and a kitchen with storage and hygienic facilities. As part of this section, a gym and exercise rooms for fitness exercises, spinning and TRX are designed on the second floor. The left part consists of two squash courts with the appropriate facilities and massage areas. There is also a relaxing facilities with a north-facing terrace on the second floor. There are also dressing rooms and hygienic facilities. The designed object is accessible for disabled people. There is a parking lot for 40 cars, 3 motorcycles, one bus and three barracks for cars.
Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz
Dvořáková, Vendula ; Dvořák, Tomáš (referee) ; Mikulášek, David (advisor)
Floral Gardens Kromeriz – a landmark of transnational importance. It is an example which has influenced architectural development in Europe. This Libosad, which has evolved since the 17th century, was used for art loving guests’ delectation. At the present time this world full of antique gods’ sculptures, figures from history or myths; this world formed by espalier walls and blooming flower beds being it all underlined with the work of plasterers, sculptors and fresco painters; this Libosad world is not able to offer to a present person what she/he expects. Since the reason why people visit these gardens has partly changed. The majority of people come to see the landmark, which in 1998 got registered in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list, in the first place and they come to learn something about it. Once on this tourist occasion, they also have a rest and spend pleasant times in the gardens. As a result of that there comes a new space for gaining information and relaxation in one into being.
