Electrocoagulation Scaling-Up for Removal of Toxic Metals, Namely Cr6+ and Ni2+.
Krystyník, Pavel ; Klusoň, Petr ; Mašín, P. ; Kroužek, J.
Presented cotribution deals with application of electrocoagulation process for removal of Cr6+ and other toxic metals, namely Ni2+, Zn2+, Cu2+ and Mn2+ from contaminated groundwater on the site of former galvanization plant. The industrial effluent has pH ranging from 4.2 to 4.8; RAS (dissolved inorganic salts) is 2540 mg/L and conductivity 488 mS/m.

Electro-Coagulation – Process and Data Analysis (The Significance of Standardisation and Clarity).
Krystyník, Pavel ; Tito, Duarte Novaes ; Klusoň, Petr
The purpose of this contribution is to show how, unlike frequently reported in the literature, a fundamental process parameter – current intensity – is the process determining step with regards to extent of contaminant removal (rather than current density).

Practical Application of Photochemical and Photocatalytic Processes for the Treatment of the Contaminated Water
Mašín, P. ; Žebrák, R. ; Klusoň, Petr ; Šolcová, Olga
This contribution deals with utilization of photochemical H2O2/UVC and photocatalytic TiO2/UV oxidation in pilot scale treatment of the contaminated groundwater and wastewater. Photochemical oxidation was tried on destruction of some compounds from production of aniline (benzene, aniline, nitrobenzene) in groundwater. Photocatalytic oxidation TiO2/UV was tested on destruction of some endocrine disruptors in water outlet from wastewater treatment plant. Both technologies have shown highs efficiencies of pollutant decontamination, photochemical technology H2O2/UVC shows higher efficiency then photocatalytic method.
