Investigation postural function of children older school age at primary school in České Budědovice and Jindřichův Hradec
MARKESOVÁ, Radka
The diploma thesis deals with the examination of postural functions in pupils (11-15 years old) at chosen primary schools. There were two primary schools (Baarova in České Budějovice and 2nd primary school in Jindřichův Hradec) involved in the research. Standardized test were used for finding out the quality of the body to appraise the figure according to Jaroš and Lomíček and evaluating of body holding according to Matthias, functional tests of muscles that tend to be shortened and weaken. We expected the incidence of bad body holding and muscle unbalance in 30 % of the tested people within the intentionally chosen group. The research group achieved better results in the period given.
School furniture in relation to the issue of poor posture of pupils in 1st and 2nd school classes in České Budějovice
SEDLÁČKOVÁ, Pavlína
School furniture is one of the risk factors contributing to the formation and development of poor posture. I paid attention to pupils of the first and second years of primary school, because they present a high-risk group due to the sudden passage from a spontaneous physical activity to a long-term static strain at school. The aim of the study was to map the suitability of ergonomic parameters of school furniture for pupils of the first and second years of primary school and to assess its influence on the development of poor posture. I focused on the chair height, the seat depth, the backrest and the worktop height and angle. I also wanted to examine teachers' awareness on the issue of school furniture, the proper seating posture and possibilities to compensate the static strain of children. The research group consisted of 146 pupils of the first and second years of randomly selected primary schools in České Budějovice. The theoretical part was elaborated by the document content analysis, the research was done in three steps. First, the quantitative interview method through questionnaires distributed to the parents of respondents was used. This was followed by investigations in classes and the last step was to answer additional questions to teachers and the school management. The results show that 88% of respondents use ergonomically unsuitable furniture, there is a greater incidence of negative findings in the furniture of the first year pupils in all investigated parameters, except low chairs and worktops, but these are only present in inconsiderable numbers. A significant association was found between sub-standard school furniture and pains in the back, head, arms and legs, leading to the formation and development of poor posture. Teachers´ awareness of this issue is good, but in my opinion it is inadequate in terms prevention. Early preventive measures can affect the condition of the movement apparatus in adulthood. Family and school should be the first involved. But an equally important role should be played by pediatricians and professionals in the public health protection, who should act not only as an inspection, but mainly as an advisory body. Therefore, it is important to increase the awareness of the general public and teachers on work chair and desk ergonomics, the proper seating posture and possibilities for a long-term static strain compensation.
Creating and verifying of a compensative program for weakened trunk Remedy (kyfosis, lordosis) - methodical DVD.
FRÖSTLOVÁ, Daniela
Trunk weakening is in today's society very frequent and the most common cause of back pain. Causes of trunk weakening are muscle imbalances, which are mostly due to lack of population movement. Active sports provide enough sensation to motion system, especially for the muscles. For the proper function of the muscles is essential to stretch and strengthen them. Unfortunately, in today's hectic times people don?t take time for sport and therefore trunk weakening is becoming more frequent. In my bachelor thesis I engaged with the compilation of a compensation program, which I after that applied to a selected sample of individuals. These visited me once a week and additionally they carried out these exercises at home. Based on the ongoing investigation of condensed and weakened muscles I have verified that a properly assembled program has a very good effect on the muscle imbalance. After this verification, I prepared a methodological DVD, which will be used as a visual aid for people affected by these muscular weaknesses who decided to do something good for their health.
The influence of kinetic activity on correct body posture
MÍKOVÁ, Jiřina
Purpose of my graduation thesis is to find out the influence of a targeted physical activity upon formation of a correct posture habit by pupils of sekunda and tercie at a multiannual high school Česko-anglické gymnázium in České Budějovice. There were 34 probands participating in the research and devided into two groups, experimental and checking, where as both groups counted 17 probands. Both groups were put under an entering test that analysed posture according to Jaroš and Lomíček, shuttle run 4 x 10 metres, which specially tests fitness, and tests for shortened and weakened muscles. Classes of health PE with the experimental group took place under my leading in the following six weeks. The checking group continued with ordinary PE according to the school curriculum under leading of it{\crq}s school teacher. After aforesaid six weeks took place a check out measurement idetical with the entering test. In the entering test 88% of pupils in experimental group had correct posture and 12% had poor posture while 94% pupils of the checking group had correct posture and 6% had poor posture. After six weeks of exercising with the experimental group had 94% of pupils in the check out test correct posture and 6% had excellent posture. 88% of the checking group had in the check out test correct posture and 12% had poor posture. The outcomes displayed that it is possible to improve a posture habit under an influence of a targeted physical activity.
Diagnostics and rehabilitation of the top and lower cross syndrome for football players - youth team category
ŠŤASTNÁ, Veronika
The topic of the theoretical part of this thesis are the disorders of body posture and one-sided muscle load, that can cause muscle imbalance. I focused mainly on the diagnosis of {\clq}qthe upper and lower crossed syndrome`` in young football players. First I performed an initial test with all the subjects. Then they all participated in a compensatory excercise programme, to strenghten and stretch muscles involved in the development of the above stated syndromes. From the results of the final test I made a conclusion, that a proper excercise programme can compensate a one-sided muscle load and thus prevent the development of muscle imbalance. Such a programme should be part of every training in order to prevent one-sided overload and subsequent disorders of body posture.
Finding and verifying postural defects at chosen schools in Havlíčkův Brod
KLATOVSKÁ, Gabriela
Considering that I used to study at a Secondary Medical school, this area concerning parts of the human body is not really unfamiliar, that is why I chose it. Backbone (spinal) defects are as old as humanity in itself. Seperated into defects from birth and those aquired later on in life.Originally it was more often a birth defect. Individuals with bigger handicaps were excluded from society and succumbed to a miserable existence in the end. With the development of science and National Health services there are fewer people with crooked bones; a consequence of a vitamin D defiency. These defects not only concern humans, but animals too. They discoverd human diseases (where backbone defects belong) also went along with animals. Breeding of animals, to increase (for example dogs and cats) better qualities, usually turns in to degenerative changes of backbone and hips. What is missing is called "healthy blood". Now there are more acquired defects which are a result non healthy living (bad eating, eating too much) and not enough exercise. With developing computer technology, sitting for a long time causes back problems. Because adults work too hard and are very busy, they do not have time for physical activities, which help the body relax and support the back, In my work I am devising tests that strengthen the body and help you can recognize different kinds of defects; resulting in rehabilitation through exercise. This helps handicaped people deal with the problem and in some cases elimates the problem completely.
Creation and verification of a set of compensatory excercises when lumbar lordosis enlarged at younger school-age children devoted to modern gymnastics
NOVÁKOVÁ, Zuzana
The thesis deals with creating and verifying of a set of compensatory excercises for children of younger school-age devoted to modern gymnastics. The experiment ran with two gymnastic groups from Prachatice and Volary. Every girl underwent an examination of hyperlordosis degree and a muscle strength and stretch level. Finally, it was proved that these girls suffer from hyperlordosis indeed. Therefore a set of excercises had been created and later applied on the girl gymnasts. Five months later the second measuring was realised and proved that the experiment was a success.
The influence of kinetic activity on correct body posture\\
KOLÁŘ, Tomáš
The aim of the diploma paper was to test a complete fitness of pupils in the 6th class in the primary school in České Budějovice and to affect forming of the correct carriage of body habit by pointed motion activities. The objects of my research were two groups of probands from the 6th class of the primary school. Altogether, 40 probands were submitted to the research. They were separated to the two equal groups, as the experimental one and as the control one. At the beginning, I tested, found out and documented the complete fitness and mainly I found out the correct carriage of body of the both groups. Inclusion of compensatory and toning exercises for the correct carriage of body into the PE for the six-week period by the exercise plan done by myself followed. I did exercises for strengthening the abdominal and back muscles and exercises for stretching the muscles along the vertebral column with the experimental group of 20 probands. The control group had during the exercise plan ordinary PE lessons by school curriculum led by the PE teacher. The Matthias method was used for the evaluation of the carriage of body and the Ruffier test was used for finding the complete fitness. Everything was written down, compiled and evaluated in charts and graphs for its objectification. The results showed that the pupils in the 6th class in the primary school have nowadays very bad complete fitness and they cannot assume the correct upright posture. Also weakened abdominal muscles and shortened quadrates lumbar muscle were showed up on the most of the pupils.
Optimalization of mental state and correct body posture of young learners through dancing activities\\
MIKEŠOVÁ, Dana
Nowadays children{\crq}s free time is filled up with watching TV and working on computer. Being out on the fresh air doesn{\crq}t attract most of them. For that reason there is an increase in number of children who suffer from various health troubles. And that{\crq}s why my diploma thesis deals with the possible influence upon the correct body posture and mental state of young learners through the dancing activities, providing that the children do them regularly. Theoretical part includes not only characteristic of motor development of young learners, human body, and folklore dancing and its relation to the present but also characteristic of used test methods. The research part is focused on analysis of used psychological and physiological tests. The tests were used at three groups of children during six months. The main aim was to find out if there is any improvement in the mental state through the regular dancing activities at the young learners.
Posture imperfections and muscular disbalances among ice-hockey players of pupil categories.
NĚMCOVÁ, Kateřina
Posture imperfections in children resulting from the lack of physical activity represent a very frequently debated topic in recent times. My thesis, however, is focused on posture imperfections in children who are actively involved in ice-hockey. Active sport represents a large physical load. Long-term impact of single-sided load may result in paramyotonia and subsequent serious damage to the motion system. Therefore the organism needs to be protected against muscular dysbalances resulting in poor posture by means of suitable compensation programme. My thesis deals with elaboration and application of such compensation programme in ice-hockey players of pupil categories. I verified the effectiveness of the programme through input and output tests. I took the view that appropriately chosen programme, provided it becomes part of the training plan and it is truly followed, may sufficiently compensate negative impact of excessive physical load, which the ice-hockey has on child´s organism. Based on this conclusion I strived to determine certain recommendations that may help the ice-hockey coaches in drawing up training plans for children entrusted to them.
