Administrative building in Brno
Ječmínková, Michaela ; Jeneš, Rostislav (referee) ; Podroužková, Božena (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to present the static design of the supporting structure of the administrative building. The work deals with the design and static evaluation of locally supported slab and columns ended with heads. Thesis is provided with drawing documentation and static analysis.
Design of the building concrete structure
Kurpel, Juraj ; Chalabala, Jiří (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a load-bearing structure for the ultimate and serviceability limit state of a civil building. The structure is designed as a cast-in-place concrete structure, composed of columns and floor slabs. The building has total of 5 floors, two are under-ground and three above-ground. The thesis contents of a structural design and design options, structural design report for load-bearing elements, processing of the drawings, details, visualizations. Internal forces calculation is carried out in SCIA Engineer and validated by the moment accumulation method for slabs. The columns are assessed by interaction diagrams, one is verified by hand calculation. The resulting internal forces are taken from the computational programme. Foundations are not subject for solution.
City hotel
Šoulová, Eva ; Utíkal, Aleš (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The thesis deals with a new hotel construction in Brno. The paper aims to elaborate a project documentation for the construction of the building. It is a detached building in a slightly sloping terrain. The building has three floors and one underground floor. On the underground floor there are jointly-shared garages and technical background of the hotel. On the first floor there is a reception, a restaurant, a café and an open-air terrace. The second and the third floor is designed to accommodate guests in double rooms and suites. There is also a manager´s office and a conference room. The bearing construction consists of a ferroconcrete skeleton with a bricked outside envelope of aerated concrete blocks Ytong. The skeletal construction is built on a monolithic foundation footings. The building is covered in a flat single-coat roof which is partly designed as a vegetation roof. The facade of the building is glazed in the northern part of the 1st floor and some parts of the facade are coloured green, the others are of various colours. The building is insulated with a contact insulation system.
Design and review of RC structure.
Hečková, Beata ; Seiter, Roman (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deal with of the design of selected parts of a monolithic reinforced concrete building. Static solution includes an assessment of slab in local supports, calculation of columns, beam, stair and footing. The building will be used as an multifunctional building. In this thesis was developed a static calculation, reinforcement drawings and shape drawings.
Comparison of RC structure design approach according to EC and EN
Hamrlík, Martin ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the opinion of an office building from the perspective of two different standards and comparing their approaches. These standards is a currently valid European Standard EN 1992-1-1 (EC2) and standard according to US standards ACI 318-11. In this work were considered pillars in the second basement and on the first floor. Was also assessed locally supported slab above the 1st floor and staircase connects the individual floors. All the completed elements were assessed according to the 1st ultimate limit state.
Hotel
Vondrák, Martin ; Třeštíková, Jana (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the complex desing documentation newly-built hotel. The building is situated in the centre of Brno in the cadastral Brno – Trnitá. The hotel is desingned for temporary accommodation and small conferences. It is four-storey building with flat roof and without a basement. Cast-in-place reinforced concrete farme is used for structural system with locally supported slab. It used clay bloks for infill wall. The whole building is insulated external thermal insulation composite system from mineral wool. For visitors to the hotel is parking available in the south part of the land. The hotel is desingned for visitors with limited mobility and orientation.
The design of multi-storey building
Hardubej, Martin ; Girgle, František (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is the design and assessment of selected elements of a new build multi-storey office building. The supporting structure of monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton is modeled SCIA Engineer and burdened set load cases and combinations. The outputs of the internal forces of the calculation program are dimensioned selected elements. Selected elements include locally supported slab, columns, column shoes, basement wall and footing still. The thesis is selected reinforced concrete elements assessed on the ultimate limit state. The output of this work is static calculation of individual elements. Another part of the output consists of drawings solved elements.
Load bearing RC structure of office building
Ferencz, Balázs ; Zlámal, Martin (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The Master’s thesis is focused on the analysis and design of selected members of load-bearing structure of an administration building according to the ultimate limit states (ULS) and seviceability limit states (SLS). The calculation and the analysis was supported by design software SCIA ENGINEER 2012. Structural analysis deals with the design of the reinforced concrete (RC) flat slab above the 4rd strorey which is particularly supported by RC columns and particularly lies on RC walls. Furthermore, the Master’s thesis contains analysis of some selected columns of last three storeys, column of lowest storey, construction of stairway between 4rd and 5th storeys. The work beside this deals with the calculation and design of foundation of the object. The rest parts of the load-bearing structure are not solved in the Master’s thesis.
Reinforced concrete structure of the office building
Král, Václav ; Kraut, Jan (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
Master thesis describes the design and assessment of main parts monolithic reinforced concrete construction of office building. Solved elements are locally supported slab, stiffening perimeter beam, column, wall and fundamention strip. Components of master thesis are also drawings of shape and reinforcement. Calculation of internal forces was performed by computer program SCIA Engineer. It was control by simplified method of replacement frames and results were compared.
Reinforced concrete structure design in accordance with EC 2 and ACI 318
Tesárková, Václava ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the analysis of reinforced concrete structures according to the currently valid standard EN 1992-1-1 (EC 2) compared with the analysis according to the American standard ACI 318-08. Static solution includes an assessment of slab in local supports, calculation of columns and footings according to 1st critical state for both standards. The slab is also assessed according to the 2st critical state according to EC 2.
