Experimental and numerical analysis of reinforced concrete member subjected to pure torsion
Řehák, Zdenek ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
The design for load tests of reinforced concrete members subjected to pure torsion. Calculation of ultimate torsional strenght of the reinforced concrete members with different theoretical approaches. Creating a mathematical model in Atena 3D software. Evaluation and comparison of the experimental results with the analytical part of the project. Recommendations for implementation of a similar type of experimental tests.
Experimental and numerical analysis of strengthened reinforced concrete member with rigid boundary conditions
Ptáčková, Kristina ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
A proposal how to conduct a compression test of reinforced concrete objects with one beam inserted from both sides exposed to a four-point bending. A theoretical proposal of the most appropriate form of reinforcement of the reinforced concrete object including a suggestion how to increase its tensile strength based on the chosen crushing load and the positioning of the beam (static calculation). Presentation of the project, static compression test measurement and all the other necessary measurements (elastic modulus, strenth of the material etc.). Development of a mathematical model with the help of Atena software. Evaluation and comparison of the results in analytical and experimental part of the project. Recommendations for implementation of similar experimental tests.
Thermal insulation and backfilling as a way to save metal and anergy in foundry
Kos, Jan ; Sekanina, Bohumil (referee) ; Kavička, František (advisor)
Types were summarized, principles and thermo-physical properties of thermal insulation and backfilling and their use in the foundry industry to provide directionally solidified castings and then their quality. It summarized the need for numerical simulation of thermal field system casting-form (core)-around the control and prediction of directional solidification. They are some commercial software using different models of solidification. As an example, using one of the models describe the procedure as a pre calculation to decide which of two possible isolation of the riser will be more effective.
Experimental analysis of anchor zones of reinforced concrete elements strengthened with steel plates
Vepřek, Karel ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Anchorage method of external reinforcement for verification anchor areas by experimental analysis. Design and manufacture of trial units for laboratory testing. Running tests of chosen mechanical qualities of trial units. Experimental analysis of trial units in laboratory and creation of mathematic model by Athena software.Evaluation of experimental analysis and comparing with figures of numeric analysis and statistical calculation.Graphical comparing of results and concluding overall assessment.
Static analysis of the collapse of the supporting wall of the castle Špilberk
Malý, David ; Gratza, Roman (referee) ; Kytýr, Jiří (advisor)
The study deals with already collapsed part of retaining wall at the Špilberk Castle. The goal is to analyze malfunction and collapse of the retaining wall and make a calculation according to the corresponding standards. Numerical patterns of the wall structure were solved by the ANSYS program systém.
Static analysis of the timber roof structure
Sedlák, Petr ; Gratza, Roman (referee) ; Kytýr, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis with the numerical modeling and assessment has been carried timber roof structure of the gymnasium hall of the elementary school TGM at Bílovec. The study was realized in program system ANSYS. They are created a variety 2D and 3D numerical models which are assessed according to current normative regulations.
Design and assessment of the timber dome
Hušek, Martin ; Zídek, Rostislav (referee) ; Brdečko, Luděk (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is design and assessment of the timber dome. The opening chapters are devoted to design geometry of dome itself with focus on its modification for the purpose of the shape and structure optimizing. The following chapters describe the structural design details and overall attitude to the issue. The final chapters value custom design structures, compare alternatives and provide answers to questions formed in the thesis.
Variabilita koeficientů difuze vodní páry ve dřevě a její vliv na vlhkostní pole uvnitř vybrané konstrukce
Maňák, Ondřej
Hygroscopic properties of wood have significant impact on water vapor diffusion in this material. For the description of this phenomenon the water vapor permeability dependence on relative humidity or partial water vapor pressure can be used. Analytical expression of the diffusion coefficient of wood was modified in order to obtain values for the water vapor permeability. For the verification a cup method experiment at 25, 62.5 and 75% average relative humidity was performed and the results were compared to other researches. Calculated data formed the input of a numerical model, in which a stationary linear analysis with a nonlinear analysis was compared, taking the variability of diffusion properties into account in the construction details of vapor diffusion-open timber constructions. Differences in moisture fields were shown, which in some cases lead to underestimation of the risk of condensation or degradation of wood components in the building envelope, in other cases point to the actual better ability of wooden structures to divert moisture from the interior to the exterior of the building.
