The building savings as a saving product

The bachelor thesis is focused on building savings as a savings product. The work summarises the characteristic of the product and it also examines the rate of return on investment for sparing clients. It explores not only the best choice of a building and loan association but also the optimalization of profitability from building savings that clients can gain because of the right parameter setting and appropriate money saving. The targets of the bachelor thesis are creating a quality instrument for accounting the internal rate of return for all building and loan associations, comparing the internal rate of return using this instrument and finding out the parameters which influence the internal rate of return.
Analysis of the collective investment in the Czech republic

The thesis deals with the collective investing. The aim is to assess the current state of collective investment in the Czech Republic. The are selected characteristics of the reference sector which are closely analyzed. The main aspects discussed in this work will be liquidity, cost, and in particular the profitability of selected products. On the basis of available information is created a portfolio of collective investment products selected for age and social groups to ensure income for retirement or accumulation of funds for future investments. Attention is paid to selected financial products company on the Czech market. These products include pension funds, investment life insurance and unit trust.
Pension system

The topic of pension insurance is often being discussed by politicians, experts and general public as well. This paper is focussed on describing the Czech pension system and comparing it to the pension systems of chosen member states of the European Union. It is also concentrated on incomes coming from particular fields of this very system. I will present comparison of pension benefits and average incomes during certain time periods. In the field of pension insurances I focus on calculating profitability of pension funds, valorization of the invested funds etc. In another part of this paper I am comparing the Czech republic to other selected states, concentrating on the expenses related. At the end I summarize the facts determined and those concerning the Czech system of pension insurance.
Pension insurance, rate of return and regulation

The bachelor thesis tackles the issue of supplementary pension insurance with government incentives in the Czech Republic, this being the third pillar of the pension system of the Czech Republic. In the first two chapters there are stated the general characteristics of the supplementary pension insurance and pension funds. The following chapter is focused on the control system and regulation of the supplementary pension insurance and also suggests possible ideas for changes that could be implemented into the supplementary pension insurance system as a result of implementation of the second pillar of the pension system of the Czech Republic. The last chapter is an analysis of return on supplementary pension insurance consisting of three parts. First part analyses the incentives provided by government. The second part focuses on the rate of return on the pension funds and the last part provides a detailed analysis of two chosen pension funds.
Analysis of stocks on a chosen market (stock) sector (through technical and fundamental methods of financial analysis)

The aim of this work is to compare the rentability and risk of the shares and to find out which strategy would be the best to use to evaluate the money invested into selected companies from chosen branches of Paris stock exchange. The introduction of this work briefly describes the history, recent state and description of financial markets. In Czech conditions, this market is not suitable for similar comparison and analysis, therefore the analytic part of this work concentrates only on French stock exchange. Several statistic indicators are used for possible analysis of lucrativeness and risk rate (standard deviation, coefficient alpha, coefficient beta, variation coefficient), range of historical dates from the internet and other information. Historical dates, statistical markers, analysis and tests were used to establish and compare strategies used in investment in Paris stock exchange. Also used in the work are the findings of Czech and foreign authors who deal with the question. The aim of the practical part of this work is to put to use the theoretical knowledge and to find out which branches are best to invest into and vice-versa and which strategy to choose in order to make the most money or to loose as little money as possible.

Business income

Graduation theses desribes business income, revenues, expenses, costs and cost classification. It shows up accounting concepts and princeples. It interpets different access to the business income. It shows this problem in setting of International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP, EU and Czech Republic (subject and presenting financial data). Thesis describes relation between income and financial analysis. It represents maintainance of business substance. In conclusion I describe valuation models and their relations to income.
Comparison of investment life insurance and pension insurance in terms of regulation and profitability

Work deals with pension insurance and investment life insurance. The aim of this work is to analyze these two products and to make their comparison in terms of profitability and control. The first two chapters are theoretical and deal with the characteristics of pension insurance and investment life insurance. The last chapter is devoted to a comparison of those two products. The essential difference between the products is due to their different nature. While the pension insurance is primarily a saving product, investment life insurance is primarily insurance product with saving component. The evaluation shows that investment life insurance can bring same earn as pension insurance, which doesn't offer insurance. But client has to undergo a higher risk and to choose the optimal investing strategy. Regulation of insurance companies and pension funds from the state is very strict. The emphasis is on protection of clients.
The Attraction of Czech Government Bonds for Foreign Investors

Thesis deals with the attraction of Czech government bonds from the perspective of foreign investors in relation with the current economic development in CEE region, and further in the rest of the world. Analysis is targeted to issue of the Czech government bonds in turn of 2009 and 2010. After the analysis and description of foreign investors representing huge part of the entire demand for the Czech government bonds on the domestic and foreign markets the paper further covers individual pros and cons of the instrument. The empirical analysis is conducted as the comparison of the yields and risk of Czech goventment bonds with the similar instruments issued by Hungarian and Slovakian governments. Separate part of the thesis covers the characteristics of used instruments (Czech T-Notes and T-Bills) and legal adjustments of the auctions through which these instruments are placed on the domestic market. Thesis also contains a separate chapters covering the results of former issues of the Czech government bonds abroad and the analysis of tax consequences resulting from holding and selling the Czech government bonds by foreign investors.
Yields, risk and liquidity of Slovakia's bond market, and their international comparison

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o výnosnosti, riziku a likviditě slovenského dluhopisového trhu v letech 1997-2006 a o porovnání těchto charakteristik s dluhopisovými trhy Česka, Německa a Anglie za léta 1999-2006. Cílem této práce je kvantifikovat a zhodnotit dané charakteristiky dluhopisů slovenského trhu jak na individuální bázi, tak ve srovnání s vybranými trhy dluhopisů. V závěru je vyhodnocena úroveň slovenského trhu jako nedostačující vzhledem ke srovnání s vybranými trhy dluhopisů.
