Contact of biological families with children entrusted to foster care

The objective of the presented work has been to analyse the approach of foster parents administered by the Regional Authority of the South Bohemian Region to the implementation of the contacts of the children in their foster care with their biological families and to map out the contacts of children in foster care with their biological families. The first section of the study is focussed on a theoretical analysis of alternative family care and foster care in particular. The second section deals with the processing of questionnaires filled in by foster parents operating within the South Bohemian Region in the period from December 2008 to February 2009. The analysed data were processed under the use of the questionnaire technique. The set of respondents consisted both of foster parents for whom the foster care had been mediated by the Regional Authority of the South Bohemian Region, and of foster parents whose child had been placed into their pre-foster care as well as of foster parents who had acquired the status of foster parents as a result of their application filed with a court.
The Student Opinions of Theological Faculty Southbohemian University in Budweis on the Integration of the Romanies into Society

The thesis is focused on integration of Roma people into the Czech society. It is composed of two sections: theoretical study and field inquiry. The theoretical study explains basic terminology and goes on to describe relationships between the Roma minority and the Czech majority, the Roma identity, social exclusion of Roma people, integration of Roma people, and its` mechanisms. In its` conclusion, it describes social policy and government programs in the area of Roma integration. The field inquiry comprises of interviews conducted among students. The interviews focused on students` opinions of Roma integration, their personal relationships with Roma people, and their view of social work with Roma people considering the students` future roles as social workers. Interview results are summarized in the final debate.
The Problems of the Nowadays Position of Father in the Family or The Crisis of Parental Identity

The work deals with position of father in the modern-day family. The dominant position of father in family was lost within the empancipation of women inside the society. There become the system of patriarchy. The modern father has lost his position as a breadwinner of family, becouse of women try to assert at labour market too. The modern father has to find the new identity. He falls into split between traditional and modern position of father. In the work there is described the position of father within the period of patriarchy and his positon at the modern-day family. The modern father tries to be more partner than autoritarian and strict father to his children. He wants to join in the family life. The work also deals with the importance of father to be the part of family. The last section is dedicated to influence of father on development of his children, which is connected with looking for their identity.

Ethical Behaviour Aspects of Clients of the Prevent After Care Centre in Connection with the Build-up of their New Identity

The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the changes of behaviour and attitude of clients who underwent drug addiction therapy. I have focused on the ethical aspects of these changes and their development within the build-up of the clients' new identity. I will analyse the environment and facilities in which the changes take place, approaches to therapy as well as addiction models, these being the decisive factors of change. I will also focus on the concept of identity build-up as presented in M. Brožová's analysis as a process of changes, which take place after therapy in communities and therapeutic facilities. In the conclusion, I will analyse the conception of ethics and the components of ethics as a basis to define signs of ethical behaviour in the topics of respondents. The practical part is a probe into the process of behaviour and attitude development of Prevent After Care clients. In the introduction, I will present the applied research methods, selection of fields, the research sample and operational procedures. Further, individual dialogues with respondents are included, including interpretation of the dialogues in relation to human practice and an interpretation of behaviour changes. In the dialogues, I will focus on the perception of changes by the clients themselves, their idea of freedom and their values.
Christian Ethical Values Development and Stabilisation at Older School-age Children Via Free Time Activities in Summer Camp

The work is focused on how it is possible to stabilize and develop ethical values in children camps. First the work is focused on a value concept and determinates a Christian ethical value. Further it describes pubescence season characteristics and its specifics, where ethical development, identity and socialization inherently belong to. Then basic mechanisms analyses which are helpful for values education follow. Next part of the work is focused on camp and games dramaturgy. In the end an application of gained knowledge is shown on particular Christian camp preparation which is going to be focused on Christian ethical values development and stabilisation. Work with Gipsy Youth in ´Low-doorsil´Facilities in České Budějovice

The work is focused on specifics of Gipsies, methods of work with Gipsy youth and its use in ´low-doorsill´ organizations for children and young people in České Budějovice. The first chapter explains who Gipsies are, their origin and brief history. The second chapter characterizes specifics of Gipsy ethnic group and the barriers in their integration into the society. The third chapter describes the key elements in the work with Gipsy youth. The fourth practical chapter tries to sketch using these methods in practice. It is based on a questionnaire survey. The guestionnaires were filled by workers of ´low-doorsill´ organizations for children and young people in České Budějovice, who work with Gipsies.
Adolescents´ orientation of value

Annotation This graduation thesis discourse about value orientation of adolescentes at present time. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical sections. 1. Theoretical part appers from present-day knowledge of pubescence and adolescentes and it explains the terms such as pubescence, adolescence, social progress, emocionality, identity, value tendencies and selfconception. The thesis describes time of adolescente and sociable and psychological characteristics of these young people. You can find information about system of secondary school at present-day. The last part of theoretical sections aims on comparing determinantes of personal progress and on their influence on progress of value our teenagers. 2. The practical part interprets results of research, which was realized on two secondary school in last year-class. The purpose of the research was to find out value tendencies of adolescentes at present time and show personal values of these young people. The results of research are presented not only collectively but also like results for gender groups. This point of view is important for comparing tendencies of values among young girls and boys.
