The subject of this diploma thesis is a statistical analysis of security audits. The theoretical part describes key terms in the field of cyber and information security, basic background for this area and important regulations. The next part focuses on the description of security audit, its course, necessary conditions and content. The last part is devoted to statistical analysis of obtained samples. We analyse samples from several points of view, compare and look for features and information that could be helpful to the auditor’s assessment.

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of CNC manufacturing machines and their use in accordance with the principles of Industry 4.0. The first part is a search of the current state in the field of the most frequently used CNC production machines in engineering according to their design and application. In the second part described principles, basic attributes and key technologies of Industry 4.0, defined concept. The last part is on top of the project conceptual workplace with CNC manufacturing machines in the premises of the technical high school VUTBR in accordance with the principles and tenets of Industry 4.0 and the evaluation of the results achieved.

Increase of Security Awareness at the Primary School

This diploma thesis is focused on the development of informational environment safety awareness at primary schools. The thesis consists of three main parts. The introduction explains the basic safety terms and briefly describe the legislative essentials necessary for this proposal. The second part consists of the analysis of the current situation at the school chosen for this research, including SLEPT analysis, Porter´s analysis, 7S analysis, and SWOT analysis. The practical part introduces the proposal of implementation of the program which is tailored to the requirements and needs of the primary school. The final part evaluates the pros and cons of the implemented solution.
Cybersecurity and national resilience in Estonia

This thesis is an attempt to analyse the relationship between the increasingly popular concept of national resilience and cybersecurity. National resilience is a concept that has permeated the security and policy making realms in recent times. This relationship is examined by using the Baltic nation of Estonia as a model due to the nation being regarded as the 'most digitally advanced in the world'. The main objective of the thesis is to investigate the relationship between cybersecurity and national resilience and discuss the implications of this relationship in the wider security context. The thesis begins by establishing if a nexus exists between the concept of national resilience and cybersecurity. In order to better understand the potential impact cyber security could have on a nation's resilience, it is important to establish the relationship between the two concepts. After the nexus is successfully established, the thesis then charts the development of the concept of resilience within the Estonian national security documents. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of building security awareness at grammar schools. The thesis can be divided into three main parts. The introductory part introduces the theoretical definition of basic concepts in the area of information security and a brief description of the legislative requirements to be followed in solving the work. The second part analyzes the current situation of selected grammar school, including risk analysis, HOS 8 analysis and SWOT analysis. In the practical part, the proposal to introduce a security awareness program adapted to the grammar school.
The Birth of Cyber as a National Security Agenda

The following dissertation studies the question how cyber security has become a national security agenda and discusses implications of the observed processes to current international security status quo. I divided the research into three parts. The first part embodies theoretical and methodological approach. The second part studies three distinct discourses related to cyber security, the techno-geek discourse, the crime-espionage discourse and the nation-defense discourse using the method of Michel Foucault about archaeology of knowledge. The third part then draws on these three discourses and discusses implications through lens of several theoretical perspectives. Namely through concepts taken from science and technology studies, from actor network theory and network assemblages. The critical point of the research is a distinct reading of these discourses. While techno-geeks are understood as a source of semiosis, hackers' capability and crypto-anarchy ideology influenced by cyberpunk subculture, the cyber-crime and espionage discourse is read as a source of evidence of the hackers' capability. This diploma thesis deals with cyber relation of the United States of America and the People's republic of China. The aim of this diploma thesis is to answer the following questions: What kind of cyber threat for the United States does China represent? How is China's cyber strategy characterised? How do USA react on this threat and what are the gaps in this reaction? The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with definition of cyberwarfare and its perception in Chinese context. The second chapter analyses USA - China relation and its implication for cyber security.
