Physiotherapeutic procedures affecting muscle imbalance of children of younger school age - attending classes for gifted children
MUSILOVÁ, Veronika
This bachelor work is focused on muscle imbalance of gifted children of younger school age and possibility of its influence by using some physiotherapeutic approaches. Muscle imbalance is a condition where we can found imbalance between the muscles around a joint. Tonus of these muscles is not ideal, because some muscles (tonic muscles) are overloading and other (phasic muscles) are becoming weaker. Either setting of joint is not ideal in this condition because the joint is overloaded. If such a condition does not solve the pathology may get worse and other functional and structural changes can appear (Čermák, 2008; Kolář, 2009). The cause of muscle imbalance is inappropriate functional load such as excessive, inadequate or inappropriate qualitative claims applied on the muscle (Čermák, 2008). An example of such loading is carrying heavy backpacks, bad mattress, one-sided load, prolonged sitting in free time activities (TV, PC) or lifestyle (Petersen, 2013; Kolisko, Fojtíková, 2003). The theoretical part is gradually defined the term "gifted child", defined parts of the locomotor system, described motoric development of the child, explained issue of muscle imbalances. Furthermore selected researches works, outlined diagnostics of posture and last but not least mentioned some often used physiotherapeutic approaches to influence muscle imbalances and poor posture. The aim was to map the shortened and weakened muscle groups in chosen class for specially gifted. By using some physiotherapeutic approaches affect positively these imbalances and compare the results with children attending regular classes from researches which have been already carried out. The practical part is processed in the form of qualitative research. The research sample included 14 children attending the 4th grade for specially gifted children between 9 and 10 years. Collection of data was conducted by taking direct medical history, examination of the input, output test and podoscop examination. Four children also agreed with photographs of whole body. All has been done with the informed consent of the parents. The work can be used as educational material for medical professionals, patients or their families.
Muscle imbalance in administrative personnel, the possibility of interference with the exercise of SM and editing ergonomics
GALUSOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor work is aimed at muscle imbalance at administrative workers and the possibility of their influence by help of exercising SM system and ergonomics adjustment.Muscle imbalance at administrative workers come into existence on the basis of time unevenness between maintaining a long term stiff position, in this case it deals with sitting at the computer, and between compensation movement activities. In today's highly technical period more higher demands are placed on employees, their numbers are reduced and this expands filling work of another workers. Workers are then forced to stay at one's own job even after regular working hours and they have less time and energy for a moving activity. The majority of workplaces are not arranged according to ergonomic principals, which also has an influence on development of already mentioned problems. In the theoretical section anatomy and kinesiology axial organ are gradually described, shoulders and lower limbs, further there is defined the issues of muscular imbalance. The third chapter is aimed at exercising methods founded by MUDr. Richard Smišek SM system (stable mobile system). Subsequently there is the defined concept of ergonomics focused on the ergonomics of sitting at the computer, the last chapter discusses posture. The main aim of this work was the discovery of muscle imbalance at administrative workers on the basis of kinesiology entrance examination and subsequently the effort to influence the imbalance with the help of exercising SM system. The method option for the practical part of work was by quality research. Collecting data took place in the form of interviews with direct revocation anamnesis from three probands from the ranks of administrative workers; subsequently a kinesiology examination was accomplished at the beginning and at the end of the research. Probands got a questionnaire about ergonomic arrangement of their work place and were asked to fill in the informed consent. The bachelor work can be used for professional and amateur public, for specifically improving knowledge about exercising the SM system method and about the considerable meaning of ergonomics not only at sitting employees.
Development of muscular imbalance in the shoulder girdle in volleyball players
VRBOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor?s thesis deals with the development of muscular imbalance in the shoulder girdle in volleyball players. The volleyball player?s shoulder is the most exposed and vulnerable joint. In addition, the way the sport has developed, the pressure on this joint has grown. Shoulder pain limits the player?s most important move: the strength and the power of the smash and the smash serve. This thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and a practical. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and the biomechanics of the shoulder girdle, and with the injuries of the shoulder joint most often experienced by the volleyball players, such that can be detected by a clinical examination. In the practical part I used qualitative research, and the appropriate diagnostics and measures to asses the effectiveness of physiotherapy. The research was carried out in the Beskydy Children?s Sanatorium in Metylovice. The research sample consisted of three volleyball players from the Metylovice Volleyball Club (SK Metylovice). Examination of the participants showed the presence of muscular imbalance in all of them; secondary damage to the shoulder joint was also detected in all participants. Any top-level physical performance will stress the body, often unevenly, and it is crucial to compensate it. The combination of a targeted physiotherapy methods and compensation exercises, together with spontaneous regeneration, can repair any damage, or even prevent it, and thus lead to an optimal function of the joints and the adjoining soft tissue. Physiotherapy plan was prepared for each participant and was then successfully followed. The final/exit examination showed a reduction in both the muscular imbalance and the secondary damage previously seen in the shoulder joint. In Appendix 2 I describe compensation exercises that should be included in any volleyball training programme, to prevent the development of muscular imbalance. This work could be used as a guide to effective repair approach to this problem. The suggested exercises aim to relax, stretch and strengthen the entire shoulder girdle, and thus increase the range of movement and the muscle power within the joint.
Creating and verifying of a compensative program for weakened trunk Remedy (kyfosis, lordosis) - methodical DVD.
FRÖSTLOVÁ, Daniela
Trunk weakening is in today's society very frequent and the most common cause of back pain. Causes of trunk weakening are muscle imbalances, which are mostly due to lack of population movement. Active sports provide enough sensation to motion system, especially for the muscles. For the proper function of the muscles is essential to stretch and strengthen them. Unfortunately, in today's hectic times people don?t take time for sport and therefore trunk weakening is becoming more frequent. In my bachelor thesis I engaged with the compilation of a compensation program, which I after that applied to a selected sample of individuals. These visited me once a week and additionally they carried out these exercises at home. Based on the ongoing investigation of condensed and weakened muscles I have verified that a properly assembled program has a very good effect on the muscle imbalance. After this verification, I prepared a methodological DVD, which will be used as a visual aid for people affected by these muscular weaknesses who decided to do something good for their health.
Determination of the most frequent muscular imbalance and make - up and check compensatory programme for footballers (21 - 33 years)\\
MATĚJKOVÁ, Veronika
The ain of this graduation theses was to look in to possible muscles dysbalances in group of football players in the age between 21 ? 33 years old. Then compensatory exercise were made and they were placed them in to the football training program for 2 or 3 months long period. At the and there made check out examination and evaluation of muscles dysbalances and effectivity of compensatory exercises. There was hypothesis of appearance of the lower cross syndrome in tested group of football players which during entry examination verified. After going through the compensatory exercises there was definitely lower number of lower cross syndrome. In this graduation theses there ware used methods of specifie measurement and testing procedure.
Possibilities of application fitness in physioteraphy in patients with spinal lesion
ŠEVECOVÁ, Zuzana
The number of persons who suffered spinal cord injuries, as well of physical therapists who are interested in exercising in a fitness centre and in other fitness activities. This fact results in integration of these activities into physical therapy programmes and therapeutic stays intended for persons with spinal cord lesion. Incorporation of fitness activities into physical therapy programmes is common particulary in the USA. The aim of this thesis was to study the influence and contribution of fitness activities for muscle disbalances in the area of the torso and for the posture with patients suffering from spinal cord lesion and futher to identify the possibilities of incorporating fitness activities into physical therapy programmes for wheelchair bound persons. With respect to the aim of thesis defined in this manner, I have summarized the fact on spinal cord lesions in relation to torso muscle disbalances with spinal cord lesion in the theoretical part of the theses. Subsequently, I have tried to collest the existing facts on fitness, including the definition of fitness, the importance of physical activities and muscle strengthening for wheelchair bound persons. I have also focused on basic principles, terms and exercises and I have analysed its incorporation into the exercise programmes for wheelchair bound persons. In the practical part of the thesis, I have used the qualitative casuistic-based research method. The research was carried out in the Rehafit Physical Therapy Centre in Prague. Two test persons were selected: a man and a woman with diagnosed spinal cord lesion. The woman has been diagnosed with Th11-12 paraplegia, the man has been diagnosed with C4-5 tetraplegia. Both patients with spinal cord lesion are of similar age and suffered the spinal cord injury approximately at the same time. With the observed patients, there has been an influence of muscle disbalance detected in the area of torso, inprovement of posture and stability of seated positions, increase of muscle power, as well as improvement of overall physical conditions. The results of the research show that incorporation of fitness activities into physical therapy programmes in the period following the period of termination of the intensive physical tehrapy has a undeniable imporatnce for patients with spinal cord lesion, particularly for affecting the posture and muscle disbalnces.
Suggestion and verification of compensatory exercise for one {--} sidedly oriented sportsman to prevent muscle dysbalance
AMBROZOVÁ, Markéta
Graduation theses solve the suggestion and verification of compensatory exercise for one {--} sidedly oriented sportsman. Tested group is tennis-players from Teniscentrum Příbram. By the influence of one {--} sidedly oriented movement can form functional and structural fault motoric systém of muscle dysbalance and to form fault motoric stereotype. Periodic compensatory exercise which is made by relaxation, stretching and weight training with breathing exercise and relaxation exercise can help to reduction negative problems. The results that certify positive contribution compensatory exercise are processing in tables and graphs.
Diagnostics and rehabilitation of the top and lower cross syndrome for football players - youth team category
ŠŤASTNÁ, Veronika
The topic of the theoretical part of this thesis are the disorders of body posture and one-sided muscle load, that can cause muscle imbalance. I focused mainly on the diagnosis of {\clq}qthe upper and lower crossed syndrome`` in young football players. First I performed an initial test with all the subjects. Then they all participated in a compensatory excercise programme, to strenghten and stretch muscles involved in the development of the above stated syndromes. From the results of the final test I made a conclusion, that a proper excercise programme can compensate a one-sided muscle load and thus prevent the development of muscle imbalance. Such a programme should be part of every training in order to prevent one-sided overload and subsequent disorders of body posture.
Optimalization of mental state and correct body posture of young learners through dancing activities\\
MIKEŠOVÁ, Dana
