Automated workplace for the direct current measurements
Plocr, Radek ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (advisor)
The present thesis attempts at an overview of DC methods used for diagnosing electrical isolation systems. It investigates the problem of small currents and how to measure them. Part of the thesis deals with building a workstation designed for long-term monitoring of absorbing characteristics of dielectric materials and it also presents a layout of a workstation used for measuring recovery voltage. Both workplaces are computer-automated using the VEE Pro application provided by Hewlett-Packard. Tests were performed on both workstations and the obtained results were processed in a test report as specified under ČSN IEC 93. During the experiment, every effort was made to ensure and monitor the atmospheric conditions of the measuring process.
Simulation of dose distribution irradiation
Večeřa, Petr ; Hlaváč, Martin (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This project deals with the issue of simulation of dose irradiation. This principle is used in a radiotherapeutic device known as a Leksell Gamma Knife for the treatment of intracranial tumours. With regard to the theoretical observations obtained by studying this device, the project suggests the use of analytical geometry for the creation of a mathematical model for calculation of the intensity in the rayed area. A demonstration program Leksell_xvecer08 has been created for this model in a MatLab software background, which enables the user to change various input arguments and simulate a picture of the dosage spread in the target scanned areas.
Air contaminants separation process
Krištof, Ondřej ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Svěrák, Tomáš (advisor)
The Diploma thesis is focused on the separation of gaseous pollutants from contaminated mixtures of gases into liquids using absorbent device. The theoretical part is mainly concerned with describing the absorption process, the method expression and the factors influencing the rate of transfer of contaminants between phases. The experimental part deals with the dependence of transfer of carbon dioxide contained in an air mixture into an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide on the process conditions of separation in pilot scrubber.
Analytical methods applied for the evaluation of environmental contamination by uranium ore mining
Bílek, Jiří ; Holubová, Zuzana (referee) ; Čáslavský, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the testing procedures used in monitoring of environmental contamination after uranium ore mining in the uranium mine in Dolní Rožínka. It deals with the determination of radioactive elements radium, uranium and radon. The methods used for the determination of radioactive elements in mine laboratory in Dolní Rožínka are described. The thesis also mentions other applicable methods for determination of uranium. The metods of determination of manganese, iron and other metallic elements are also summarized in brief. The values of concentrations of monitored analytes in selected locations are presented at the end of the thesis. These values, which were provided by laboratories in Dolní Rožínka, are valid for 2010.
Application of FME for modelling of computer noise
Zapletal, Radek ; Mišun, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pellant, Karel (advisor)
Study elaboration about noise sources in PC. Discussion about an option of noise reduction based on suitable emplacement source of noise and suitable emplacement buffer absorable layers.
Evaluation of emission measurements with respect to removing efficiency of heavy metals, especially mercury
Frýba, Lukáš ; Beňo, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dvořák, Radek (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is specialized on identification with issues burning waste and devices in waste incineration plants linked with them. Description of particular methods used for heavy metal removing and appreciation their effectivity. Evaluation of measurement of the emission and their confrontation with valid legislation of the Czech Republic. Design billance model of separator for heavy metal removing.
Flexular Strength and Hydrolytic Stability of FRC/PFC Dental Bi-Material
Dombková, Julie ; Trautmann, Radoslav (referee) ; Poláček, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the flexural strength of FRC/PFC dental bi-materials and their resistance degree to hydrolysis degradation. The block-shaped samples were exposed to the flexure in three points. The strength and modulus of elasticity were measured by multi-purpose test device called Zwick Z0100. Electron scanning microscope was used for observation of disrupted localities. From the outcomes gained result that the mechanical characteristics are affected by dipping of fibre composite, spatial organization of the support, water absorption of materials used and the matrix and the support adhesion.
Modelling of the noise emission in computers
Nešetřil, Čeněk ; Mišun, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pellant, Karel (advisor)
Elaboration of problem of the noise causes inside personal computer. Discussion about possibilities of decrease the spread of noise on the base of right choise of noise source and apllied anti-noise leyers.
