The current position of Volvo Cars in automobile industry with focus on its future in relation to the new owner

My bachelor thesis focuses on the current economic situation of Volvo Cars and my aim was deep analysis of its position on the global and Czech market. This work also shortly foreshadows predicted development under the new Chinese owner and I tried to specify potential pros and cons resulting from this acquisition.
Consumer Behaviour of the Segment of Seniors

The goal of the diploma work is to describe the theoretical aspects of the consumer behaviour of the segment of seniors. In the practical part the marketing research in the field of tourism is described and realized. On base of outcomes of the research the evaluation and suggestion of marketing arrangements are decribed. There is also comparison of the situation in the field of tourism for seniors between Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Spain done. Final part of the thesis is focused on evaluation of the overall situation which was desribed: marketing research of the tourism and the demand of the seniors.
Transportation and traffic ecucation as a reflection of traffic literacy of participant of tourist trade

Graduation thesis is bent on analysis traffic literacy of participants of tourist trade. According to the research only a half of the polled people have heard about a transport education first time in Kindergarten. This is a very bad result because children belong to the most risky group of traffic operations. That is why the analysis was made in Kindergarten, concretely in Kindergarten Bratrská, Dačice, to find out present status of transport education. We set up a project which should obtain an improvement of transport education.
Traffic literacy of university students in Tábor and its surrounding

The bachelor thesis focuses on the problems connected with the traffic literacy of the university students. For this thesis, the Tábor region and its near surrounding have been chosen. At the outset, especially literary sources, cartographic materials and web pages were examined and analyzed in order to find solution to the problems connected with traffic and traffic education. Information obtained by the examination of the questionnaire, which form a substantial part of this thesis, is of greatest importance. To be able to analyze the area sufficiently, it was necessary to map the area not only from the supply and demand aspect for the tourist trade service, but also to examine its current state of traffic and traffic education in the Tábor region. The practical part summarizes and evaluates the results from the traffic investigation and obtained findings. The university students are already enough familiar with the traffic education. Unfortunately, the fact that Traffic Education is not included in the framing programme of the elementary and secondary schools hinders a stronger improvement in the area of traffic education. In the final part, several suggestions for the improvement of the current state have been brought up, which aim should be a reform of the traffic education, traffic service and the total potential of the traffic in the given region.

There are solved problems of traffic education in this work and university student´s traffic literacy. Single part of work is also analysis of transport services in region Czech Krumlov and Czech Budejovice. In conclusion of this work are, on bases of results from questionaire inquiry, offered relevant arrangements and suggestions for repairing condition of traffic literacy and transport services.
The support of tourism development in the chosen region

Purpose is analyse compoments of primary offering and secondary offering, needs a requirements of visitors and evaluate contributions and falls of tourism in Příbram region. Most importatnt part of work depends on questionnaire research, which was answered by visitors of this area. According to questi-form this work deals with reasons why visitors coming here, what are they doing here and if they are satisfied with local possibilities and services.

Summary and comparison of ways of maintenance segments in database system ORACLE

The segments are used in ORACLE database as space for allocation of free space for database objects. During of using of these objects, the segments can be damaged. The damage of segments can have a negative impact to performance of database. Free space can be used ineffectively in database, if the segments are damaged. This work has three aims. The first aim is to describe the ways of damage of segments in ORACLE database. The second aim is to describe how the segments can be repaired. The third aim is make some tests and discover, if the reparations are successful and give some advices, which ways of reparation are good. Reader can make an idea, how to care about segments in ORACLE database.
Market segmantation of dog food

This diploma thesis deals with marketing segmentation of food for dogs. The market is specified by companies existing on the market, devided into five pricing group. For better understanding of the problem there are mentioned also general principles of dog feeding and researches realized in past. Segments are revealed on basis of one segmentation criteria, other possible views are just briefly mentioned. Marketing strategy is suggested for three chosen target groups.

Cílem práce je navržení takového marketingového mixu pro takový segment, který by umožnil úspěšné zavedení nového produktu, s využitím SWOT analýzy a analýzy konkurence. Autor nastiňuje současnou pozici firmy, hlavní konkurenty, cílový segment a vhodný marketingový mix.
