Sanitary technical installations and gas pipeline in the hotel
Ševčík, Jan ; Wierzbická, Helena (referee) ; Vaščáková, Alena (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with design of sanitary and gas instalation in hotel building. It is hotel with four floors and basement. Theteoretical part is focused on grey water treatment systems and possibility of their use in the building. The Computational part and project includes design of sanitary and stormwater sewer, water supply system, gas installations a their service pipes to current utility lines.
Plumbing Systems with Low Water and Energy Consumption
Nikrmajer, Vojtěch ; Vrána, Jakub (referee) ; Bárta, Ladislav (advisor)
The thesis deals with energy-saving plumbing systems. It is divided into three parts: task analysis, applications theme on the building and experiment. In the first part are described the possibilities of saving water and energy in the plumbing systems. The second part contains a comparison of some variants of saving solution water supply system and sanitary drainage system at the hotel. Part of the experiment investigates the water consumption for washing hands in addiction: the pressure in the water supply system and the type of mixing valves.
The Sanitary Instalation in Retirement Home
Minář, Lukáš ; Vrána, Jakub (referee) ; Wierzbická, Helena (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is the design of the sanitary installations and gas main in the pension for pensioners. The building has three floors above ground and one underground floor. The building will be covered with a hiped roof. On the first floor there is the technical background of the building, Reception and kitchen with dining room. The basement is located just below the kitchen and serves as a cloakroom for kitchen staff. The building will be designed to use as much non-potable water as possible in the form of rainwater, which will be collected from the roofs. The theoretical part deals with the use of non-potable water as operating water in buildings. The calculation and project part deals with the gravity sewer system, plumbing and gas main in the building.
Possibilities of saving measures in swimming pool operations
Litschmann, Patrik ; Pivoda,, Bohuslav (referee) ; Biela, Renata (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the current knowledge in the field of saving measures in swimming pool services. The theoretical part describes the typology of swimming pools and subsequently deals with the technological aspect, including heat management. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes in detail the possibilities of saving measures in public swimming pool operations, especially in sanitary facilities, including reuse of wastewater from showers as a water source, or heat recovery from wastewater. The knowledge from the theoretical section is then applied in the practical part, where saving measures are proposed on the public swimming pool.
Methodology of use greywater in the selected objects
Raček, Jakub ; Pollert,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Stanko,, Štefan (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
The concept of reusing wastewater in buildings has recently become more important. This is due to change in climatic conditions and reduction of the yield of water resources. Greywater can broadly be defined as not extremely polluted wastewater coming from basins, showers, baths, kitchen sinks and washing machines. The concept based on the use of alternative rate sources wouldn't need same strict parameters as drinking water. Dissertation engage in collecting greywater from basins, showers and wash machines separately from the other more polluted domestic wastewater at the dorms, the laundry machines, the hotels, detached houses, the swimming pools, the office buildings and other buildings. The research showed that membrane filtration meets all needed parameters of water quality and can be used in house systems where we use cleansed white water to flush toilets, watering garden or grass areas. There is still a lack of experience and documentation for such system of operation in our country. Systems of use of greywater in selected objects are detaily solved in my dissertation directed at system proposal.
Possibilities of using gray waters
Bogáňová, Ida Antonie ; Raclavský,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Biela, Renata (advisor)
Greywater is waste water from washbasins, showers, baths, kitchen sinks, dishwashers and washing machines. This can be treated to gain so-called white water, which can for example be used for flushing toilets and urinals, watering greenery or for cleaning. The subject of this diploma thesis is to state the possibilities for utilisation of greywater. In the first part of this thesis, research will be elaborated on the given topic. In the following chapters, I would like to state examples of the possibilities for utilisation of greywater. The practical part should consist of design of a system for treatment of greywater in a specific building.

Greywater Treatment by Membrane and Sand Filtration
Velikovská, Kristýna
Greywater reuse is a significant part of urban wastewater with low values of physical, chemical and microbiological pollution indicators. Therefore, reusing greywater is an effective approach of sustainable water management. This paper deals with greywater treatment membrane methods leading to reusing greywater, presenting obtained values of testing sand filtration and microfiltration and ultrafiltration membrane modules.
Membrane Bioreactor Technology for Greywater Treatment in the Laboratory and Real Conditions
Velikovská, Kristýna
Wastewater reuse is one of the signs discussed topics leading to sustainable water management. Separation and recycling of wastewater already at the level of households and other residential or operational buildings could be considered as a key approach of modern conceptual development concerning the perception of waste as a resource. The aim of this paper is to present and compare the results from testing membrane technology (membrane bioreactor, MBR) for greywater treatment in the laboratory and real conditions water reuse at the household level.
