Current social pathology and its image in the work of E. Durkheim

The aim of this paper is to acquaint the reader with the problems of socially pathological phenomena and theoretical approaches to the study of the phenomena. This is mainly theoretical content of the text. In the practical part, the author attempts to challenge social pathology to look somewhat less typical optics. Reveals a possible link between socio-pathological manifestations and forms of contemporary work . Émile Durkheim, respectively work in which the issues of their time engaged , the writer served as an imaginary point that both the mouth of the introductory chapter the practical part, which is also a kind of springboard for subsequent chronological shift toward the presence and characteristics of work that are typical of the current organized form . The aim of the author is also to point out the still current Durkheim reflection on the relationship between certain types of work and socio-pathological phenomena . The author of the text places significant emphasis on the historical and economic context of the transformation of work and trying to also capture the essential features of the thinking was typical of the period in which E. Durkheim formed. Much of the space is devoted to contemporary neoliberalism or phenomena associated with postmodernism, their relationship and access to socio- pathological phenomena.
The Quality Of Life Of Pedagogical Workers In The Prachatice Area.

The thesis focuses on standard of living of the educators of the Prachatice region. Its aim is to research the perceived standard of living of the educators at the nursery, primary, special and secondary schools. The theory part focuses on the World Health organisation whose strategic aims of health care and standard of living are perceived holistically. The term standard of living is defined as well as the term educator. It includes all teachers at all types of schools, carers and teacher assistants. The following parts of the thesis connect to these terms. These are fatigue, stress, depression, burnout syndrome, healthy psychic living and the meaning of life. The aim and the tasks together with the hypotheses are stated in the beginning of the research part. It is followed by the description of the method used, the definition of the target group and the research itself. The standardised questionnaire WHOQOL-BREF method was applied. The chapters commenting on the results and discussing the problem concern perception of the standard of living of the target group. The chapter discusses perception of the standard of living as well as the negative feelings of the elementary school teachers in more detailed way. The results are compared with the general national average. It was shown that the standard of living of the target group (physical health, experience, and social relations), its perception and health contentedness are perceived as normal; the perception of the environment influence on standard of living decreased comparing it to the research of PhDr. Eva Dragomirecká?s team.
Literary Work of Josef Čapek

Bachelor thesis The Literary Work of Josef Capek focuses on Josef Capek´s writing and his influence on Czech literary critics in last twenty years. Thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, thesis concerns with Josef Capek´s life and it´s influence on his literary style. In the second part, which can be described as theoretical, thesis clarifies the creation process, and its circumstances, of Capek´s chosen literary works and interprets their basic motifs. In the third part, which can be called as practical, thesis adresses and analyses selected reviews, which come from printed magazines, of Capek´s literary texts in years from 1989 to 2008. Based on these reviews thesis in the conclusion summarizes, how was the Capek´s literary work received by Czech critics and what are it´s main features.
The meaning of life in the July´s questions

The thesis deals with search for the meaning of human life in present time from the philosophical and theological point of view of Egon Bondy. Bondy perceives a human being as a biological and intellectual unity in which the peak of evolution has been reached. However, as to Bondy, this ?peak? has to be overcome, humans have to transcend and renew their humanity, otherwise they would get stuck at the place momentary reached where they are not happy and stand without any meaning. Bondy brings the concept of a ?non-substance model? of ontological reality, in which the attempts to find a common path for both theology and philosophy. This way we can also follow Egon Bondy?s development from atheism to the acceptance of ?living God?. Bondy reaches the opinion that human faith in God and the reception of grace offer person?s life the feeling of fulfilment which contemporary humanity has been so much lacking. Bondy hints at his spiritual experience of ?splendour inside?, where he could feel that the meaning of life cannot be reached by one?s own activity or just ?ordered?. The meaning of life can only be humbly expected.
Woman's sence of life in the contemporary society with the orientation on motherhood and interruption

The dissertation deals with contemporary women's sence of life with a view to the sphere of motherhood and interruption. The dissertation is divided into two main parts. The theoretic part deals with possible understanding and creating of woman's sence of life, which can become the motherhood. But it can hit a lot of obstructions. These are mostly a long-time studies, a longing to build a career, feeling of being to young or worry about the partner relationship. A main role take contraceptive measures, which allow to plan a family or avoid it. In consequence of social changes was the attention aimed at the possibility of artificial termination of a pregnancy. The practical part tries to map the womens opinions on the position of a child in their life. On the basis of the above mentioned obstructions three spheres of research were defined - namely sence of life in connection with values, relationship to children, relationship between the motherhood and the career and relationship to mechanisms, wherby women refuse to have children.
The loss of the sense of life - Role and Responsibility of Workers in Helping Professions at Work with a Client, who Lost their Meaning of Life.

The work deals with the aspects of the role and responsibility of a worker in helping professions at work with a client who lost their meaning of life. The work answers the questions on what sphere of knowledge the helper is supposed to have to be able to provide a high-quality and expert care. Life situations are mentioned here, which presuppose the loss of meaning of life as well as the riscs of loss of meaning of life are evaluated. Also the role and responsibility of the worker in helping profession is outlined. The work was based primarily on literature by existential-minded authors and on professional literature focused on psychology, psychiatry, social work and ethics.
Value orientations and perceiving of meaning in life by Jehovah´s Witnesses

This thesis is concerned with the research of values, value orientations and perceiving meaning in life by members of the Jehovah´s Witnesses religious community. It´s goal is to identify, which values recognise Jehovah´s Witnesses and how do they perceive meaning in life. In theoretical part is characterized this religious community and described values, value orientations and meaning in life as a psychological and other social sciences phenomena. In empirical part are observed values and meaning in life of 4 research participants - Jehovah´s Witnesses. Research was realized in a qualitative design, using methods of Grounded Theory and using semi-structured interview as a technique of data collection. On the basis of data analysis are presented recognized values and perceiving meaning in life by Jehovah´s Witnesses.
Care of the soul by Jan Patočka and its necessity in the constitution of humanity

The work deals with the idea of caring of the soul, as presented by Jan Patočka and its necessity for the constitution of humanity, which seeks to do good on the personal, societal, and global, ecological level. The first part deals with the care of the soul by Socrates and in the Platonian polis, there are highlighted some concepts related to education of its guardians. Then there are described three existential movements, which Jan Patočka educes from the care of the soul and its three aspects. In another part is firstly implied relation between the care of the soul and philosophy, and then the original theme and herewith the aim of these two activities. The last part is an attempt to show how it can happen, that we are talking about ?succour from philosophy?, then how to use the care of the soul for we could see the world as our home and what the consequences will be there, when we don't care of the soul and instead we paying attention only to the exact knowledge of modern science.
Logotherapy values in experiential education for adolescents

This study is about the use of logotherapeutical values as an inspiration for experience program for adolescents with the purpose to integrate them into their identity. The aim of this study is to find common topics of logotherapy and adolescence and their using for the preparation of experience courses. This study begins with a psychological characterisation of adolescence with focus on the indentity described by Erikson as the main theme of this phase. The study further deals with the characteristic of experience education and its practical use, such as dramaturgy, play, motivation and reflection. In the last part, I tried to assess the main common topics of logotherapy and adolescence. I finally used these topics to compose the theme of experience program and the form of the courses with the suggestion of using several games.
Types of Love in the Context of Bioethical Arguments

The thesis deals with kinds of love, their classification and characteristics. Another topic is euthanasia, its classification and arguments in favour of/against its legalisation. The basic aim of the thesis is to describe these concepts and to try to find a connection between them, to try to answer the question whether love can be argument for euthanasia, and if it can, then why.It tries to find possibilities and ways of action motivated by love, using cases already published of terminally ill people. It searches for the benefits of these findings for the work of a social worker.
